Drury Plaza Hotel Cincinnati Florence

The room was spotless, and the hotels amenities were great. There was free popcorn in the lobby, free breakfast, and free food in the evening as well. Also, there were times in the evening where you could have up to 3 alcoholic drinks for only 1 dollar each. The pool and hot tub were clean and in good condition. The staff was always very friendly and helpful.

Rooms were all new, roomy, and clean. Bed was comfortable. Restaurant/bar was a little slow and on the pricier side, but food was good. You can order "room service", but have to go pick it up. Not a big deal though. Pool area was nice, but crowded and seating wasn't adequate for the amount of people. Security was good and parking lot well lit. The manager was very friendly and accommodating.

We stayed in an affordable, spacious two room suite with an appealing modern decor. The amenities are excellent including a free happy hour with food every evening and free breakfast in the morning. There is also a bar and restaurant open until midnight. And, a well equipped work out room that is open 24/7. This is now my preferred place to stay while traveling.

Great stay the only down side was the pool and hot tub were closed. They did call ahead of my stay and informed me. The offered to let me go to another hotel. The food, the fitness room and our room was all top notch.

Everything and Every member of the staff was above our expectations. We only stayed one night but will definitely return. Pool & Hotub excellent. You won’t go away hungry, breakfast biscuits & gravy, waffles, pancakes, cereals, coffee, soda and juices, freshly made eggs and sausage and more. Dinner (5:30-7) changes daily (FREE) and a restaurant if late food needed. The staff (everyone) was so kind and friendly.

The the floor in the pool area was pretty gross. The smell of bleach was really strong in there as well.

The hotel was beautiful and very clean. Pool and hot tub were nice along with a great gym. Nice to have a restaurant/bar area for leter hours. Staff was amazing and very friendly.

Pool was a nice temp, hot tub was perfect, breakfast was the best you can get from a hotel, and the staff is top tier.

Hopefully just bad luck. The bathroom was not super clean, and the room was humid and smelled strongly of someone's cologne. I didn't say anything. Then the pool and hot tub were closed for more than half of our stay ("emergency maintenance"). The food at the restaurant was way overpriced for the quality. Then, one of the two elevators was out of service the day of checkout, so it took an hour to get all our belongings and kids down to the car. The staff were super helpful and kind about it all though. Not their fault!

The food areas should be cleaned while people are eating, since a lot of spilled food on the floor could create a hazard. Good service-new hotel; overall very nice, with caring staff. Controls for air conditioning and heating were hard to work in the room. In the disabled room, the shampoo and the other bottles of liquids in the shower are set too high to reach, as are most of the towels. The shower is very good, but there should be a warning about how hot the water is, (also for the sink).

I loved the cleanliness and professionalism of the staff! The breakfast was amazing!

This is a newer hotel. Staff was very nice, rooms were great and has a great breakfast. Everything was clean and efficient.

This property is pristine. We learned it only opened October 2024, and our room was immaculate. What most impressed me was the parking lot lighting (it felt VERY safe for my children and I when we checked in close to midnight), and the multiple staff members circulating during the delicious hot breakfast cleaning up. Overall, excellent stay.

New hotel it was our second time staying there about six weeks apart The lobby outside the elevator was a disaster and there was popcorn inside the elevator everywhere but other than that the beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. The linens are new and clean, and the property is in excellent condition.

I thought the free meals were great and food was ok but I think it could be cleaned a bit better in the rooms and the lobby of the hotel as well but the staff was very nice and accommodating and helped make your stay as comfortable as possible.

The staff was extremely pleasant. We opened the couch and there were crumbs in the rollaway. The lights were not working in all the areas of the room.

Front desk attendant was courteous and efficient. Free dinner and breakfast was very nice! Beds and pillows were sooooo comfortable. Room was so quiet and the shower was the best hotel shower I have ever had! We will definitely book here again when traveling from GA to Home in PA. Thank you!

Beautiful facility, great amenities and great customer service/friendly staff. Clean, new and spacious room. However, we could hear the lobby music all night from our second floor room.

A dog barked the entire night

We had a brief stay here at the end of our trip. The hotel is brand new, and the room was spacious, comfortable and quiet. There were a couple of bits that weren't quite finished properly (the towel rack in the bathroom wasn't very well attached to the wall!) but it was clean and the staff were very friendly. There was plenty of space in the lobby which meant there was plenty of space at breakfast and for the Kickback in the evening which wasn't the case at other Drurys we stayed at.

When we walked into our pitch black room and the light switch didn’t work. My husband tripped into the table and ottoman that was also dark colored. The person that checked us in should have told us about the switch that holds your key card to get the lights on.

This hotel looked nice, but that's where it ended.There was clearly money put into appearance. However, clearly money was not invested into making it a quality place to stay. Windows were thin, so even on a higher floor I could hear every vehicle, police siren and airplane that went by. And they did. All.Night.Long. Thin walls as well. I could hear every door close and toilet flush nextdoor. Odd automatic light switch in the bathroom that turned on the bright lights every time a person walked in. During the day this was fine. However, when needing to use the bathroom in the middle of the night and being suddenly met with a blinding glare of light in my eyes, it was not easy to fall back asleep afterward. There was no nightlight in the bathroom either, so even when I found a way to stack towels in front of the light sensor to avoid being shocked awake in the night, it was still difficult to find my way to the bathroom in the night. Another strange issue. They did not have any garbage bags in the garbage cans. I asked the attendant about it and she indicated that it was because of some attempt by the hotel at being "green." I found it offputting, as it's not just going to be dry, clean things being put in the trash cans. She offered me instead a large, industrial trash bag (far more plastic than the small ones would have been and no can for it). Breakfast was not the highest quality, but ok. We stayed for one night on our way to Tennessee, the hotel was fantastic; however, the pillows were small and lumpy. I would have expected better quality pillows in a Drury. Aside from that, we were very pleased and will likely stay again the next time we travel to Tennessee.

Bed was very comfortable, room was bigger than I expected. Happy Hour evenings with the food and drinks was very nice!! I do have 2 complaints, first the A/C didn’t keep up and I woke up 2 out of the 4 nights very hot and uncomfortable. Had to get up and keep adjusting the air. Also no one told us about putting a room key in the slot by the door for power to the lights in the room. I think it ran the fridge too because we had to pull the furniture out from the wall and plug it in and turn it on so I could keep my Insulin cold.

Room was a bit warm, even after turning the heat down from 73!! I was ready to open the window it was too hot

Only complaint was there were 10 kids under the age of 5 in the hot tub without parents. And rules say no one of the ages 5 and below. Pool was already crazy and then cant even enjoy hot tub because of all the 4 and under in floates in the hot tub. Everything else was amazing we drove 3 hours from ohio to enjoy pool and hot tub but never got the chance.

Overall, we had a good stay at this hotel. Hotel is relatively new and it showed. Very clean hotel. Nothing luxurious but really nice. The only reason I rated it a 4 instead of 5 is because of the check in service we received and because we were told they could not put us in the room we booked here on hotels.com because it was overbooked and not available. After we questioned it, they ended up “finding” us the room we booked in about 30 seconds. Makes me think it was available the whole time. Also, the receptionists were not the most respectful, whispering and laughing in front of customers. Just need to be more professional and attentive to the customers.

I feel like the lady at the front desk couldn’t have been more bothered to check me in. But the lady working the bar restaurant down stairs was wonderful. As was the guy, Chris, who would come to check on me when she had other things to check on.

Perfect room, amazing staff, great breakfast and well lit parking lot. We stayed here for a Bengals game and it was amazing.

On the day of check in the guest services staff was a bit swamped and the manager that was on duty did not assist. Guest were left standing and waiting. The dining did not have any seafood or vegetarian options for those that did not eat meat.

One of the best hotels we've ever stayed at! All of the staff was super nice! Managers came by at every meal to make sure we had everything we needed, and we enjoyed chatting with them. Very clean, and having breakfast and evening meals included was awesome!!

Waited at the front counter to check in for 20 minutes qith nobody in sight. Then went to grab dinner and drinks at the bar, sat there while the "bartender" looked straight at us multiple times over about 15 minutes and then walked away without even acknowledging us or asking if he could get us anything. Fire alarm went off for no reason even though it was not super late in the evening still annoying. After talking to other people that have been staying for more than one night they said it was an ongoing thing.

Every part of the staffing was excellent! Wether it was housekeeping, breakfast staff or front desk checkin. They were ALL professional and helpful. Great hotel stay!

The first thing I said to my husband as we were walking to our room was, “It’s nice that the hallway to our room doesn’t smell.” It was a very clean hotel, from the lobby to our room and bathroom, it was a nice stay overall especially for the price. It was also reasonably close to main attractions in downtown Cincinnati.

Nice hotel close to the Interstate and Florence Mall

Very neat & clean. Indoor pool & gym areas were also very neat & clean. Friendly staff. Quiet although we were there with plenty of kids for a class trip. Free breakfast offered several good options. First time staying with Drury- would definitely stay again! Also very conveniently placed- close to highway, mall and eateries

We always enjoy staying at Drury hotels. This one in Florence Kentucky was fantastic. The staff is super kind and friendly. The hotel was very clean. The location offers great access to the freeways. Lots of really great things to do in the area.

If you have never stayed at a Drury, stay at one. This location was very convenient to I-75. The breakfast and dinner offerings were amazing. We also tried out the in house restaurant which was also spectacular. The hotel GM whose name escapes me, was very welcoming and very visible the whole time we were there. My little boy would get off the elevator of the morning and say “Hello!” to her. She needs a commendation from the company for her attentiveness.

Great hotel! I would stay here again. All the staff were very nice and attentive. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The location was great for our trip to the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum.

Property is new. Rooms are nice and spacious. Breakfast buffet was good. Convenient location next to the Y’all’s baseball field.

I was so impressed with the free dinner buffet! Everyone seemed to enjoy it. The breakfast was also good but not excellent like dinner. The bed was great and so was the shower.

Check-in and check-out were seamless - after we realized we had to pick up the phone to get in the front door (since we checked in at 11pm). Bar & kitchen were open until midnight, and the free breakfast was probably the best we've ever had at a standard hotel in the US; sausage patties, potatoes, eggs, biscuits, gravy, two different-sized waffle makers, fresh pancakes, hot oatmeal, bagels & bread, cereals - it was outstanding! Perfect midway stop on our park trip between Kings Island and Kentucky Kingdom

Check in was fast and staff was helpful. Diner was free! Bar drinks for $1. Very clean and new smell throughout. Drury is always the best.

This place is incredible. They feed you dinner in the evening with several options and then a wonderful breakfast in the morning. Both all you can eat and free of charge. Considering the price of the stay it was very reasonable.

The breakfast food was so-so and did not do the rest of the hotel justice. Oatmeal had too much water. The waffle was fine but the rest just not too tasty even the yogurt, fruit,pancakes, eggs, sausage were not the best quality
