The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was nice and clean. Bed was very comfy! Lots of parking spaces and in a nice area close to a lot. Our only complaints was the free breakfast which wasn't great. Even the coffee tasted burnt. Also, the water in the pool was pretty cold. The hot tub was nice though. Overall, a pretty good place to stay other than the breakast and cold pool.

Extremely disappointed the pool and hot tub were down. Elevator wasn’t working so it was a long ways to our room each time coming and going. Cold coffee in the entry way. Breakfast was amazing and location were the perks.

We booked this specifically because we have three boys and there is a pool. Nothing mentioned the pool was closed for renovation. Not even when we checked in. Very disappointed. The staff was amazing. The place is nice. But booking for one specific reason and it’s closed unacceptable

The exterior of the property is beautiful and the view was amazing. Bed was comfortable... that is about it. There was a great deal of black plastic wrap around the vast majority of the main floor/lobby. You can get to the main desk, rooms, and breakfast. That is it- something about structural repairs?! Pool and hot tub were closed. There were spider webs in the windows, dust everywhere, and breakfast was BAD, even for a continental. BAD BAD. Not impressed for $255 per night. NEVER would have booked there if these repairs were disclosed in advance and not sure we will again in light of this visit. Which is a shame....

The staff was very friendly. The pool was out of commission, which wasn't shared with us prior to coming which was a DEFINITE bummer. Looks like it has been out of commission for a while and will be for a while. The river was also encountering an algae bloom so we couldnt go in the water either. The elevator right next to our room was broken down for 2 days and when you come with an infant, you have a ton of stuff. The windows in our room (we had 2 windows) were very dirty and hadn't been cleaned in a long time. Photo is of one of the windows (both looked the same). Breakfast was really good!

The hotel is very clean and the staff welcoming and efficient. The lobby is spacious and cozy. The facilities are well maintained. The breakfast area is wonderful, very large and clean. We loved the breakfast, especially the hot freshly cooked items. The parking is free. Our room was spacious, clean, with nice furniture. The beds were very comfortable. The hotel is located right on the Columbia River banks, and there is a wonderful promenade along the river, very quiet and scenic. The property grounds and surroundings look beautiful. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting this area.

The front desk staff was amazing. However the rooms we had a bunch of bugs in. It was extremely disgusting! My family and I killed over 10 bugs in that room. Unfortunately the hotel was completely sold out and couldn’t accommodate me because I booked through third party. Myself personally will not be staying at that particular one again. The review was amazing however and I’m pretty sure that’s why there were so many bugs it’s something I can’t get over.

This place is probably the best in the Tri-Cities! The room was large and clean, continental breakfast was more than I’ve come to expect, and the front desk staff were very friendly The best part though is the location, right on the riverwalk and walkable to the little center area of Richland The parking lot is well lit with plenty of spaces One thing to note is that there were a ton of children running around the place, especially in the pool and hot tub…not really my jam, but I’d never hold that against the hotel I’m not sure if this is normal or if there was something special that drew large families that weekend

This was the nicest stay in a hotel I think I've ever experienced. Clean, friendly, amazing location, wonderful breakfast, hot beverages all day, 24 hour pool area.... absolutely wonderful! I'm definitely coming back.

Very nice room which looks over the Columbia River. Peaceful. Below us along the river runs a 7 mile paved walking path. The hotel sets alongside a large beautiful park. For the price we had a delightful stay. Great restaurants nearby off the path.

River view room was more of a peek of the river view. Balcony was OK with an abundance of spider webs. Inside the room was spacious with comfortable pillows. Toiletries were of good quality. The room at night had too much light from various places for our liking so if you like it dark, it may be a challenge.

The river view room was not as peaceful as i hoped. There is a walking path between the rooms and the river as well as tables outside on the main level for people to sit at. Unfortunately there were some people talking quite loud until well after 11 I had to turn on my white noise to try and drown it out. The staff was nice and so was the view. Just don't expect it to be serene. I thought it was quite overpriced for a very average room.

Very lovely river view. The room itself is clean but slightly dated. The river front area is amazing. Great for walking. My only issue is the 11 a.m checkout. Noon is always preferred.

Hotel was clean enough and comfortable. Looked a little “old” in some areas. Staff were great and very helpful. Housekeeping did not knock before entering (about 1.5 hours before check out), so really my only complaint. Bed was fine, not super comfy. Beautiful surroundings. Felt safe and secure.

Came to Richland due to a family member in the hospital there. Various members of our family had rooms at the hotel during the week. All the rooms we saw were clean, functional, with good basic amenities. If you can splurge, the river view rooms are well worth it. Breakfast is well stocked and maintained. Definitely enjoy breakfast outside and take in the river views. Best thing about the hotel is the staff. We have had to extend our stay through the week, and every interaction has been friendly, helpful, efficient. The front desk staff in particular have worked with us so we can be at the hospital as much as we can. Thanks to the hotel staff from our family. Definitely would stay here again.

The Hampton Inn in Richland was perfect. The lady at the front desk was extremely helpful and pleasant. I had an very good breakfast on the patio along the river. The room was very clean, comfortable and easy to access. It was everything I have come to expect from my stays at Hampton Inns.

This property has a great location on the Columbia River right next to Howard Amon Park, with access to the riverfront walking path. We attended a riveting play at The Richmond Players, just a 10 minute walk from the hotel. Front desk was professional and helpful at check-in and our room was clean and comfortable. We plan to stay here during our next visit to The Tri-Cities.

The staff that welcomed us was very friendly and helpful. The room is clean and comfortable. The patio was nice. The only issues we had was one morning, there was no meat option for a non pork eater people. This was a big turned off for us as our family dont eat pork at all.

We stay here at the Hampton quite often and we like it. There is just a few things I wish they would address. The breakfast is always underwhelming. Offer hot eggs without anything in them If you want to have a different kind of egg offering make sure to have plain hot eggs available also. The pool should have a period of time set aside where kids aren't allowed. Thank you.

Our stay there was just fine. The room and property were clean, just out dated looking. Our room had a view, however it was on the far corner of the building and you had to really look out a small corner of the window to see the river, that was disappointing. Also, the pool was under renovations and that wasn't listed on the website. Breakfast was ok.
