Courtyard Richland Columbia Point

Kids wished there was a hot tub but otherwise it was a nice stay.

We were in Richland Washington for a wedding and made reservations at Richland Marriott Cortyard. Our room was clean and quiet. It is on the Columbia River, beautiful scenery. There is also restaurant and bar, you can order and sit outside and watch the boats on the river. Several restaurants nearby within walking distance.

Current construction

The bistro downstairs is the only option for food at the hotel, ( which cost $63 for 3 people for breakfast? ) where just 3 months ago, they had free breakfast at the hotel. Which is part of the reason why we chose that hotel over ‘the Lodge’ this time around. The pool area was lackluster, and the jacuzzi was broken. It’s also very unfortunate that they don’t offer after hours checkin, which is why we only stayed one night instead of 2. Unfortunately, we ended up going to the ‘the lodge’ right next door to be with the rest of our family. The the pool area is so much better, and it was just cleaner as well. The elevator at the Marriott smelled weird, and was humid. I was surprised at how dated the inside of this hotel was. Being as it is in a primo spot right on the river. I know they get good business, so I’m sure they have the funds to remodel a bit. (They made the lobby look nice and modern, but that is a far cry from what the rooms look like) The walls and carpets where a very old, ugly color. You can tell those colors were chosen to make sure any imperfection were hidden and not visible. The dressers where not cleaned, as when I opened them, they had lots of fuzz and hairs in them. It shows that the staff does not clean properly. If I’m paying almost $300 for a night, and that’s not even 24 hours. I expect it to be clean. The bathroom. The shower had caulking that was cracked, and mold in 2 of the corners.There was also soap scum on the tiles.

The bed was very uncomfortable. The pool was dirty and the hot tub was being decommissioned and was unusable. The walls were very thin and we were able to hear the neighbors.

Plenty of free parking. Beds were comfortable. Shower was clean and water pressure was nice. There is no complimentary coffee in the lobby whatsoever but the rooms have a 4 cup cuisinart and they give you as much coffee for that as you want. Also, there is a Starbucks in the lobby if you prefer. Small fridge only, no freezer. My room was quiet. I would stay again.

Construction! No breakfast and little restaurant/bar closed before 10 on a Friday?! Nothing but vending machines. Small pool and had to walk outside to different door to get in. Once in, stepping over debris and cords from construction. Construction workers blasting their music in are too.

The hotel was nice and the restaurant good. We booked here fire the indoor pool and hot tub. We were very disappointed that the hot tub was out of order. Other than that the hotel was good.

In the past, Marriott was top notch. The room had the main light out, coffee stains in the carpet and a soda can left by previous guest. This is not a $200+ hotel. It is starting to match the sleazy, sloppy maintenance in California hotels. On the plus side, the view of the Marina and Columbia River was spectactular, five stars for that. The clerk invited us to breakfast, made it seem like a free offering (asked twice), but we found out it wasn't. Disappointing.

The area is really great to walk to nice restaurants. You are on a beautiful view of the water. The restaurant downstairs just enough to suffice. Any small appetites and the bar staff was amazing in the evening time. The rooms are very comfortable and very clean.

The staff were friendly and accommodating. Room was clean and comfortable, especially the bed and pillows, blackout curtains, golf course around the corner, gorgeous view from our river view room of the sunset, marina, and river. We will definitely stay again!

Room was so bad I took pictures if you want me to send you bath tub have black mold furniture was chipped all over the table sink is broken. Carpet in lift was dirty and stinks.

Very nice a well appointed rooms and clean. Nice and Quiet and close to local restaurants.

The hotel is clean, newly refurbished and has close proximity to the water, docks, and restaurants. The better choice of the two Marriott properties on the street. The internet connection was slow and expensive-my own mobile hot spot was faster and more reliable. Plenty of space to work in the room with a direct Ethernet connection for computers. The restaurant on site served delicious breakfast items and cocktails in the evening. The lobby is comfortable and well appointed so meeting other guests or friends there is enjoyable.

The room was quite worn and run down. It was extremely clean though and very comfortable.

Very very hard beds

The location is great but can be a bit noisy: boat basin, bars on either side and a highway not too far way can contribute to a lively atmosphere but is also affords the ability to walk to one of three restaurants, sit outside on the water with a drink and enjoy a good breakfast without getting back in the car. The rooms are all equipped with screens that make working and viewing media comfortable. The office set up in most is also a welcome feature.

We had a nice room overlooking the water. It was great. The only problem was the fridge was so cold it froze the cans of water we put in it.

Walls were not insulates well enough. Neighbor woke us at 3:00AM.

Super friendly staff

Love this hotel and this location! Staff was super sweet, we enjoyed the gal who checked us in yesterday afternoon (5/4) but didn’t catch her name, but she was wonderful! Loved our view of the river. We had an issue with the toilet running and running so maybe have someone look into that at some point but overall, we had a great time and we will be back!

This location is central wherever you need to be during your visit to the Tri-Cities. The staff is helpful and there when you need them, and they leave you alone when you don't. Nice people no matter what. I appreciate them.

Amazing staff

Very nice front desk staff that were kind, helpful, knowledgeable. Had a previous “issue” with Booking .com that they were able to negotiate and resolve for me. The room smelled a bit like cigarette smoke but the room was quiet, clean, comfortable.

Got put in a conjoining room with loud neighbors up until 3:30pm - could hear everything they said / did and wasn’t all appropriate. Staff refused to move me rooms because I booked my room online.

Ran out of hot water when showering Sat-Sun morning. The Starbucks in the lobby was no bueno. The team’s politeness was fantastic. Kudos to the management and staff. Please don’t post for public view.

It’s ridiculous when you pay this much for a room and the charge for breakfast. But if you some where less expensive you get a great free breakfast.

Only there overnight, but wished there had been free coffee available in the lobby in the morning.
