Great pool!! Warm water! Hot hot tub!! Large guest room! Clean facilities and pleasant helpful staff! Close to restaurants (Texas Roadhouse, Village Inn, fast foods, etc…) and shopping (Walmart, Target, HyVee, etc…).

A quick overnight for a wedding in Quincy. Perfect location and convenient to wedding location. Quiet and nice breakfast in morning, also convenient parking. Staff was kind, courteous and respectful. Definitely would stay here again if in area!

It is generally a nice looking property with a pretty staircase inside past the lobby area. Different for this type of hotel. The breakfast was good, the staff were welcoming and helpful. The room was spacious. My only complaint is the bathroom, though overall clean, had some wear and tear and not kept up as much as I would have expected. The back of the door was dirty with fingerprints and dust. It looked like there may have been water damage along the bottom of the walls next to the tile. I don’t know if this is true for all the rooms or just the one we were in.

The room was in good condition with the exception of a stink bug on my floor. The staff was very nice. the hot tub and pool were clean. My main issue was the older hvac unit in the room was very loud each time it engaged so it woke me up every time it turned on heat or AC until I shut the unit off compelled. I also had to clean the AC filters as they were very dirty,

Went to the bathroom and the toilet and pee stains on the toilet seat. The tv was unplugged altogether when I got in the room. As I’m trying to relax and get ready for bed, multiple phone calls from what seemed like the front desk. And then another call in the middle of the night asking if I was a Stephen.

The room was alright. One of the two beds was significantly concave; essentially forcing both occupants to the middle. The television was tiny, given the distance from the beds. There was no microwave. The air conditioner was on the opposite side of the room from where the beds were, which made cooling down the sleeping area more difficult.

We live an hour from Quincy. We had several medical appts lined up and stayed overnight to facilitate that. We have stayed here more than once before, but I always forget that they don't have a microwave in the rooms. Be aware of that. I know there are several good reasons they only have one microwave in the hotel (in the Lobby), and it usually isn't a problem. But, this time, I had a sore throat and had brought tea bags with me and REALLY just wanted to make a cup of tea for my Daughter and I, IN THE PRIVACY of our room. Also, there were 4 pillows on each bed. One of the four on each bed was a comfy feather pillow. The other three were flat and HARD. I was really surprised, because it wasn't like that for our previous stays and the pillows were SO UNCOMFORTABLE! The last time we stayed we stayed here, I used the pool. It LOOKED great... until I was in it and saw that there was a ring of mildew on the tiles, around the entire perimeter around the pool. But, the service at the front desk is always friendly and helpful. Breakfast is always great. Everything else about the stay is always perfect. We do live this place!

Positive about property: Plenty of free parking and quickly accessible to major roads. Negatives: Unacceptably (yet avoidably) noisy. Our room on the 3rd floor was directly under an "event room". Management chose to set up this event room at 9:00 pm which involved staff dropping/slamming tables and chairs onto the floor. I complained to the front desk at 9:30 and the noise subsided - for 15 minutes. Then it started up again and I called the front desk. The desk attendant reported that the hotel needs to set up the event room and the noise will continue for about 20-30 more minutes - well past 10:00 pm. No apology, no acknowledgement that the comfort of all guests should take priority over the hotel's event preparation and maintenance activities. No explanation of why the hotel chose to start setting up a room after 9:00 pm. Unacceptable, particularly when you realize that the room rate is no bargain. The next morning upon checkout, the new front desk crew said it was aware of the noise and of my complaint, and that the general manager has been notified. I've never received a simple apology email or call from the manager. This hotel obviously doesn't care about guests' comfort or experience. I would never stay at the Town & Country Inn again - even if the room were free. There are plenty of other lodging options in Quincy that couldn't be any worse than this place.

I didn’t like how the front desk clerk yelled at the soccer team to quiet down but later that same night didn’t say anything to the group of people who were sitting in the lobby talking and joking around.

I was in for a funeral. I checked in late around 8pm after spending the day with family. The front desk gentleman upgraded my room for the two day stay and it made such a difference those two evenings. He went above and beyond and even came to the 3rd floor and took the luggage rack back down for me. By far the best place to stay in Quincy Illinois!! Give it a try!!

From the moment I walked in l was greeted by an awesome front desk receptionist. I had asked for an ADA room when booking but was given a different room. The receptionist got me transferred to another room and so that I didn’t have to go down to reception again he came up and made sure I was comfortable. I slept great! So great I missed breakfast. Having had the food service for hotels through Sysco Foods I always wondered why it was cut-off so early. Especially since like myself did not check in until late evening. Nonetheless I really enjoyed my stay. But since I could not book with you again due the cost this time I had to book this months trip at another hotel, but I will continue each month to see what deals you have(my granddaughter is in the Behavioral health boarding school. I teach them a cooking class once a month.) And I had forgotten my IPAD and it was turned in. They took great care of it!

To make it clear up front, this is not a luxury hotel. But it is a very clean, quiet, well run place. We had an excellent experience. Check-in was a breeze, the room was large and very clean, the desk attendant recommended a place for us to have supper that was excellent (fantastic cinnamon rolls for dessert), and it was very quiet. We were on the first floor and could hear a bit of walking above us, so if people around you were loud, it could be a problem, but we had no issues. Great stay!

Beautiful facility - front desk staff very kind and helpful. The ONLY issue we had was with the Owner or Regional Manager - I have a Service Dog & my spouse who was tending to its care was not treated very well while staying there. So perhaps think twice before stopping with a Service Animal as it’s not the most friendly place for them.
