They had work in progress during our stay that closed off part of the parking lot. We were unaware that this would be going on during our stay -- we would have reconsidered our stay if we had known. Also we would have expected to pay less considering the inconvenience, but the rate was higher than we had paid before. The bed pillows were flimsy and the air conditioner was quite loud. The TV had limited channels, but the desk staff was able to reset it when we asked about it. Their listing also said there was a hot tub in the pool area -- there was not.

Not a bad hotel, ice machine was broken and there was only one for the whole building. Not a lot of channels to watch from, mattress wasn't the most comfortable but not bad. Staff was good.

Property did not let you know elevator was broken before arrival. I am over 70 and had room on 3rd floor. I had to ask suggest lowering price due to lack of elevator.

Sadly, the pool was closed for repairs. We got to breakfast late so I was expecting much but nothing left. Got an orange and coffee. Front desk person, very nice and helpful

The pool was being cleaned I guess, it was empty with some nasty looking water in the bottom- you have to walk by it to get to elevators.,, at least they could cover the windows so it is not seen. Then there was a bunch of mattresses & box springs out at the trash - set the pick up for that same day you set them out… don’t have them sitting at the the end of your parking lot- first thing I thought was bed bugs!… and would have left if I could have gotten my money back…. And no towels…. Had to wait for towels-each day and got one with a big spot… and the elevator door wouldn’t close and had to take stairs - front desk said - ‘ oh yeah it does that’ … really? That’s the answer?.. bathroom wasn’t stocked with toilet paper had to ask cleaner and she was running around trying to find some tp for us, and no soap in bathroom- had to ask for it too. Had to go to Quincy for funeral and thought it was ‘ok’the last time - even tho last time the kids broke out from using the pool- the price was ok for what we needed this time / but probably won’t stay here again. A property by Wyndham should not be this bad..,, the other Wyndham property in Quincy is only a little better,

We had non smoking room but the smell of Marijuana was throughout the second and third floor came into our room it was there for two days and our room was on the third floor and elevator was out the whole time would be great if that was fixed sheets looked good till u pulled them back

There was a strange, old smell as soon as we walked in, the carpet had an off odor, and the bed sheets had visible stains. The bathroom showed signs of rust and didn’t seem as clean as expected. On top of that, the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash containers were not refilled.

The carpet wasn’t clean plus it hadn’t been vacuumed. The Refrigerator had so much ice frozen on it it couldn’t be utilized the way it supposed to be used, & on top of that it wasn’t even cold 😡!!

We attempted to stay here, but it was so filthy we left. They were kind enough to switch us rooms, but 2/3 had the beds littered with bugs and the other had numerous yellow stains on the sheet. We quickly left and they were agreeable to giving us a refund. We are not picky, but we do appreciate a clean room. This hotel was filthy, top to bottom, and the entire place smelled like a locker room and smoke.

They took an old hotel and put in a few cheap upgrades. Missed some of the final pieces like light switches and electrical outlets. They are still the old grungy yellow. Trims in general are outdated. It basically lipstick on a pig situation. The sheets had some stains. The towels were very small.

This biggest issue was right away when we walked in there was a large dark stain on the comforter, very noticeable, and there was hair in the bed as well. Just didn’t seem like the room had been cleaned well prior to our arrival.

I found weird plastic garbage under my pillow, which then made me question all of my sheets and bedding. It was a very uncomfortable experience questioning everything I touched. For the amount of “updates” there were many things that needed updating. Will not stay here again.

Well, the towels in the bathroom were dirty. There's not much you can do about that when you come out of the shower and discover the towels are dirty. When I told them at the front desk about it, they said housekeeping was gone for the day, but they would replace the towels. I suggest using bleach to get the stains out! Also, when I sat on the toilet, my breast was in the toilet paper roll. Whoever thought this was a good idea should not design hotel bathrooms. The beds were very firm. Those were the best part of the stay.

My room was not thoroughly cleaned. I don't believe the bedding was changed, there were stains on the sheets. Hairs on the sheets and every pillow. Hairs in the bathtub & on the sink. There was leftover food in the refrigerator and crumbs on the floor. We didn't really look the room over at check in because we just got in from a 5hour drive & were heading to Quincy Stadium for my son's homecoming football game. We got back to the room at 11:30pm, so it was too late to request another room. So, I was disappointed with the stay. .

Great hotel with great room. Hotel is on main road so car noise was present, but not real bad. TV had very limited channels and no streaming options. Elevator was inop when we left, making several trips up and down stairway when we left. Overall these were minor complaints and we would stay there again and recommend it.

Room was clean and apparently recently updated. Fixtures and appliances all in good working order. Furniture was all in good shape. Plenty of outlets for devices. Only disappointment in furniture was the lack of a dresser. For a 3 day stay, it would have been nice not to live out of the suitcase. Smart TV, but not able to connect to the internet to stream Prime or Hulu. Asked about it and was told management set it that way as customers were forgetting to log out and others were renting movies on the customer's accounts. Also, supposed to have cable channels up to 49, but we only got about 8 or 9. Asked someone to look into it, but nothing changed. Breakfast was nothing special, some cereal and bread, a few hot items. Seemed to have trouble keeping some basics in stock.

The air conditioner worked really well and the room was very clean. The front desk staff was friendly and remained calm when it got busy. The hotel was busier than expected due to a local event. But the bathroom was so small that the door was practically in-between your legs when you were sitting on the toilet. The bathtub was dripping all night. The bed was uncomfortable. The price was 3x what it normally would have been due to the local event. Hotels sure do know how to jack their prices to earn a quick buck.

The staff was great, but the room we checked into was unprepared. Empty shampoo, no toilet paper. Staff at desk was kind and they did locate another room that was better prepared for us. Breakfast was not inviting, opted to go out to a coffee shop instead.

Most everything was nicely updated. Guy working the front was rude, unprofessional and slept at the front desk. Every time i asked for extra towels and brought them to my room and they were unused yet, the housekeeping took them and only left two towels.

Checked in and had no shower curtain. Had to ask for one. Employee smelled of weed. Then on the 3rd night or room was assigned to someone else. Lucky we came back when we did. Had to go with other person to get coerected and get new keys. Was so upset we left early. Will never stay there again.

I use to stay in this hotel a lot, however this last time it was not the best, the front desk guy charge me again, even though i had payed it through Expedia, the person at the end fix the issue, but it was something i was not counting on. Also house keeping came twice like insisting for us to leave when we have until 11am to leave.

The room itself was very average but on the more uncomfortable side. I asked in the booking notes if they could make the sofa bed up for my daughter as I wasn’t sure what time we’d get in, but it hadn’t been done, so I had to ask for extra bedding/pillows to do ourselves. The pool was very old and tired - I only went in for about ten minutes and felt gross. Breakfast was only available until 9am which was disappointing. My biggest complaint is that I was asked if I’d already paid for the reservation when we arrived and I said yes, through Hotels.com. I was asked then to present a card for a $100 deposit that would be show as pending then returned upon checkout, which was fine. It has now been 5 days since check out and my card has two charges that have fully gone through. My guess is that they are the deposit plus the room charge. They are in addition to the initial booking charge on my other card. I challenged this before check out and was assured it would be sorted. I have since raised a complaint and have heard nothing. The room itself was very average but on the more uncomfortable side. I asked in the booking notes if they could make the sofa bed up for my daughter as I wasn’t sure what time we’d get in, but it hadn’t been done, so I had to ask for extra bedding/pillows to do ourselves. The pool was very old and tired - I only went in for about ten minutes and felt gross. Breakfast was only available until 9am which was disappointing. My biggest complaint is that I was asked if I’d already paid for the reservation when we arrived and I said yes, through Hotels.com. I was asked then to present a card for a $100 deposit that would be show as pending then returned upon checkout, which was fine. It has now been 5 days since check out and my card has two charges that have fully gone through. My guess is that they are the deposit plus the room charge. They are in addition to the initial booking charge on my other card. I challenged this before check out and was assured it would be sorted. I have since raised a complaint and have heard nothing. If you live in quincy illinois there will not let you stay in a room there. I had already paid for it online and when i arrived to check in the guy saw i lived in quincy and said the owner now refuses all quincy residents who book a room. Have stayed there plenty of time in the past and now all of a sudden cant. The owner doesn't openly display this change and it screws people over who already paid for the room. Been almost a week now and havent gotten my refund for the room. Hotels like this need to disclose this information, not take the money and tell the guest to leave. I used to really like this hotel but never again.

Great hotel with great room. Hotel is on main road so car noise was present, but not real bad. TV had very limited channels and no streaming options. Elevator was inop when we left, making several trips up and down stairway when we left. Overall these were minor complaints and we would stay there again and recommend it.

Very clean and staff was very friendly. We did not use the pool, but did see others utilizing it. We were in town for 24hrs with family and the manager was very kind in helping with a special request. We will definitely stay again. Location was also provided easy and direct access to local business. Morning breakfast was perfectly simple and filling, a very wonderful balance!

Easy access to my room from the parking.quiet most of the time,except when the out of town construction workers are up late partying in their 2nd fl rooms.they also put work boots in the dryer at 4:45am.The place could use a hot tub by the pool.

Room on street side was Loud traffic all night- homeless person by front door 9:00 Thanksgiving day. Elevator door wouldn’t close. Ask house keepers to come in 10 minutes- they never came back. WiFi and T/ V were awful.

The staff was great, but the room we checked into was unprepared. Empty shampoo, no toilet paper. Staff at desk was kind and they did locate another room that was better prepared for us. Breakfast was not inviting, opted to go out to a coffee shop instead.

Room was clean and apparently recently updated. Fixtures and appliances all in good working order. Furniture was all in good shape. Plenty of outlets for devices. Only disappointment in furniture was the lack of a dresser. For a 3 day stay, it would have been nice not to live out of the suitcase. Smart TV, but not able to connect to the internet to stream Prime or Hulu. Asked about it and was told management set it that way as customers were forgetting to log out and others were renting movies on the customer's accounts. Also, supposed to have cable channels up to 49, but we only got about 8 or 9. Asked someone to look into it, but nothing changed. Breakfast was nothing special, some cereal and bread, a few hot items. Seemed to have trouble keeping some basics in stock.

When we arrived into our room the air was completely shut off (it was also extremely hot in the hallways). Our room was over 90 degrees because the outside temperature was 105 that day. It took 2 hours to cool our room down which made sleeping very difficult. Upon check in, we were told the pool was like an ice bath and that it wasn't in the best of shape, so no swimming for our kiddos. It was a decent enough place to rest our head for one night but I definitely wouldn't go out of my way to stay here again.

There looked to be some repairs needed for the ceiling in the room and rooms had a musty smell when we first got in there. The smell seemed to dissipate after turning on the a/c. Overall ethe beds were comfortable and I would consider staying there again, as price was reasonable.
