Hilton University of Florida Conference Center Gainesville

I arrived at the hotel at 4:30 pm expecting to have a room ready. After waiting in line for 1 hour, the staff informed me they had 18 uncleaned rooms. They told they would call or text me when the hotel room was ready. Hours went by…. And no call or text. I even tried calling the front desk 4x with no answer. I was traveling with a dog, and had to book another hotel 4 miles down the road to accommodate my dog. I traveled 200 miles to see Morgan wallen and I wasn’t even able to catch the entire show on time or check into this hotel…. On the night of my anniversary. I was charged $700 for absolutely nothing. And I had to spent an additional $700 at another hotel… An absolute disgrace of a hotel and horrible communication from the staff. As a Hilton gold member I am livid and will be making a a formal complaint to Hilton directly.

Many hotels now have a "store" with snacks and such. This one just had a limited vending machine.

No water in rooms. Paid Surge rates 1100 nightly vs 100 normal rate and no water?

The hot tub wasn’t working and that was the one reason we stayed there. It was never fixed the time we stayed there.

Met our expectations! We thought breakfast was included-but it wasn’t .
