This property needs an overhaul and remodeling project. We had to ask front desk to please have someone vacuum the hallway it had crumbs all over. 1st thing we noticed at room 409 the door is off the hinge making it hard to open and close. We used one of the small towels to wash the wall as it had mold all over. The bathroom had mold growing in the corners. If there was a way to get a refund and go elsewhere we would have. It was very poor conditions. Employees super nice and sweet. But pictures of property very deceiving. Jets were not working for hot tub. Will never come back again unless they spend money on replacing carpets and do better cleaning of the rooms. Also smells like an old motel like mildew. It was embarrassing as we invited family to stay here for beach day. They as well made reservations and stayed a night but we were not expecting these conditions. Very very disappointed.

Pool was shut down and so was the Jacuzzi there was no hot water in the shower the blow dryer did not work in the bathroom and the hallway had a real musky smell to it.

This hotel has so much potential. Beautiful location! Restaurants and bars within walking distance. Just a number of small things that need attention. After check-in, got to the room and keys did not work! Major pet peeve! Rooms in the hallway had wet towels outside their doors. They remained throughout my stay. The pool area needs attention. Jacuzzi did not look clean. Chairs and tables needed cleaning.

We have stayed at this hotel many times. One of the nicer places to stay in the area. Friendly staff, nice rooms, bathroom could use updating. Small pool and hot tub, beach area on the inlet and dock to sit on and relax. Breakfast was average, but good.

Room was very clean, staff was nice, beautiful view and great location. Only thing I'd recommend is they have the housekeeping staff wear ear buds as not to wake guests in the morning. They were blaring music while cleaning rooms around us.

There seems to be a problem with their housekeeping. the common areas were dirty and still dirty when we left 4 days later. same spills were not cleaned in the elevator. It carried thru into the dining area, no staff was wiping tables after guests leave and their crumbs and spills remained for the new guests to wipe off the tables. Coffee and milk for cereal was not replinished. Guests were complaining that there was no coffee at 9 AM.

Property is very dated. Most of the caulk around the tub was gone and carpet in the hallway was dirty. Saw at least three small roaches in the bathroom which led us to check out a day early. Wall A/C units and there was a constant low pitch noise coming from air handler in bathroom. Had to close bathroom door at night so we couldn't hear the noise. For the three days we were there an empty fried chicken box sat in the parking lot and was never removed. On a positive note the front desk staff were very pleasant

I like that it's so close to the water. The beds were horrible. One mattress was lower and softer, the other was taller and so hard it was ridiculous, like hard as concrete. Unfortunately the beds were full sized and can only fit one of us and make sure you bring you a good pillow to sleep with. I have not had this experience the time before but this day the sleeping Arrangements were pretty miserable

Would have been fine except when you pay $300 for an ocean view room..... And yes it was a good view. But there is a door in the room that leads to the neighbor. It has a lock, but OMG no sound barrier. I could see people's feet under the door. It was like they were talking in the room with me. And then blow drying their hair at 6:30 in the morning was like someone blow drying their hair by my head!!!! Awful design and disappointing for the amount we paid.

The first morning there we were woken up at 5 am by the people in the room next to us. There are doors that connect the rooms and they ARE NOT noise proof. The people were swearing and yelling. None of the blocks were set right and the Alan clock set couldn't figure out how to put with the right time. We had the best room they days. But the room was small and in need of repair. Lots of dust and cracks in the floor, ceiling, and walls. Bed was not comfortable. Pillows were the smallest pillows i have ever seen. The comforters were not comfy but scratchy. The pool towels were scratchy and thin also. Most hotels and resorts won't even use that kind. The breakfast was gross. The waffle maker was always dirty. The pancake maker not working. The waffle mix warm. The milk old. The beach was not a beach. Not a gorgeous beach with sand to walk on. Very small. The view was not very nice either. The TV remote stopped working several times. And the water isn't even warm. If this is all you can find to stay its not the worse. But not the best

Only stayed one night. Nice staff, nice and quiet so slept well whilst there. Nice to have the beach and pool although we didn’t use either as got there later than planned. But room and bathroom were both quite dated and the bathroom in particular was very shabby. Several areas of significant wear and tear although everything functioned ok.

Hotel a bit tired as was the room we had. Staff were ok although not overly attentive. Hotel in good position on the Island with a quaint little beach and a lovely jetty to sunbathe on. Overall an ok place for a couple of nights stopover.

We booked for two nights. The first night our Suite Deluxe was right next to the hot water pump so we had the whole night some pumping noises that made sleeping difficult. Upon adressing it at the reception the next morning we were kindly upgraded to another room with direct sea view. However, those rooms have a connection door to the room next door so anything that is said can be heard clearly. In our case, even the snoring next door could be heard or if someone went to the toilet. This is not the hotels fault but in the room below someone was constantly smoking weed, so even with the balcony door closed the whole room would smell like a pot house. In both rooms the mattresses were old and very soft, the pillows super flakey and ancomfortable and the wi-fi almost non existent. I have to mention the service as the front desk separately since it has been great and they were kind and helpful. The rest, however, very underwhelming for the price. The infrastructure of the hotel really needs to be improved.

Upon arriving at the property, the head of security was very friendly and offered to assist us with our bags. We glad he did because the check in process was lengthy and a bit brutal. First of all, the employee was not at all welcoming. We waited without being addressed until we finally walked right up to her. Amazing weekend- great place to stay. The front desk staff were unfortunately dealing with system issues- reservations were not coming up and it took over an hour before myself and 5 others finally were checked in. The staff handled professionally and calmly. I commended them. Folks were getting annoyed with the wait but there really was nothing more the front desk ladies could do. They handled it well and with smiles. Well done Alexis, Eartha and one woman who’s name I did not catch.

Property needs updating from top to bottom. My TV, coffee maker and phone didn't work and the fan was loud. The soap and shampoo dispensers were clogged and just dangling from the shower wall. When I was checking out I simply asked for a receipt and the General Manager went on an odd and confrontational rant and then directed me to call my third-party travel company for requests. Hard to believe she was the GM but she let me know a few times. This is an awful hotel.

We loved the location of this property and most rooms had a view of the inlet. The small sand beach was a nice option if you didn't feel like making the 10 minute walk to the ocean. Several dining options close by. Our room was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. Overall this was a decent property but could use some updates to freshen up the place.

Everything is right there you have a pool the beach and a fishing spot. There are many dinner options with in walking distance. There is a really great ice cream shop called One Republic right down the road.

I have stayed at the property many times, it’s ideal for beach access quiet weekends away, boating and fishing They do practice surge pricing and the price can vary depending on time of year The breakfast is basic but I think has got worse of late with lack of care and not always topped up if you are not down at 7 am

There seems to be a problem with their housekeeping. the common areas were dirty and still dirty when we left 4 days later. same spills were not cleaned in the elevator. It carried thru into the dining area, no staff was wiping tables after guests leave and their crumbs and spills remained for the new guests to wipe off the tables. Coffee and milk for cereal was not replinished. Guests were complaining that there was no coffee at 9 AM.

We have stayed at this hotel many times. One of the nicer places to stay in the area. Friendly staff, nice rooms, bathroom could use updating. Small pool and hot tub, beach area on the inlet and dock to sit on and relax. Breakfast was average, but good.
