Cedar Park Inn

We rented a two queen deluxe room so we could use the Jacuzzi tub after a long day of traveling. We arrived around 11pm, the check in staff was very friendly and helpful. As we arrived to our room we struggled to get the door open because it stuck and had to be pushed hard to open. When we entered it was immediatley noted that the room was not clean. The floors were dirty, there were cobwebs all over the ceiling and there was even a spider waiting for me on my pillow. After accepting this was it for the night because it was too late to deal with it we went in to try the jacuzzi tub and quickly realized that we would not be able to use it as the knob to turn it on was broken completely off, the tub was also very discolored. After settling for a shower I was then stuck in the bathroom because the door was out of straight and stuck in the top corner. After pulling on it from the inside the handle then broke off in my hand and my husband had to push the upper corner of the door from the outside of the bathroom for me to get out. After finally crawling into our hard bed at 1 am we were woken at 3 am to screaming outside our room door by a man at his wife and again at 4:30. We felt unsafe to go outside and would never stay here again. The friendly lobby staff was the only good thing about our stay, otherwise it was terrible and we would not recomend this place to anyone!

Our room had a foul odor even though everything looked clean. connecting door was opened in the middle of the night by other guest, sink hot water valve didn’t work properly. The staff was very friendly and the area was nice.

The deadbolt latch fell off when upon first entering the room. Room is decaying. Mold in closet. Jetted tub is in pretty bad condition. It looks like this place may have been renovated 20 yrs ago but never looked at since. Water damage on ceiling, tiles are cracked and moving near the bed. Control panel on tub is torn up and broken. There is just a dial on the wall that you turn on the bubbles. Drain plug doesn’t work so they have a rubber disc that was probably made in the late 50s. It was probably white at one time but everything has a yellow hue to it. Very little soap or personal hygiene products. Staff was nice, I mentioned it to the front desk and they apologized but I will be asking for a refund because we obviously had to get a different hotel room and adjust our plans at the last second.

We were pleasantly surprised at how happy we were with our stay. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Beds were comfy. Complimentary Shuttle to casino was a limo which was awesome/unexpected (we did tip the driver of course!). Free breakfast with an assortment of foods- bagels, cereal, waffles). Very cute lit up outdoor area that had a firepit and ourdoor seating...we didnt use it due to weather but looked great. We def would return for value for what we paid. (Its also 15min from Mystic so locstion was great).
