Everything was fine. Stayed due to concert at the XL Center. Was excellent that you can enter the XL Center from the hotel. No need to go outside. Parking was $19 that hotel had stamp parking ticket or else it would’ve been per hour. The only thing was our shower curtain was not long enough for the shower rod (length wise) also we couldn’t figure out the heat. Felt like the temperature stayed on cool even though we turned it up. Not sure if something was wrong with it. But we only stayed for the night of the concert so we didn’t complain. Overall would definitely stay again.

The hotel is undergoing a lot of renovation and construction which was not signaled on the reservation. Only one elevator was in service. At the reception I asked if there was a gym, the guy answered “ 5th floor.” When I went there, there was plastic hanging down over half the gym , due to construction. The AC was off. The gym was not really usable. The pool was empty; no water. The room was fine. No frills.

Stayed for OVO. Holy hidden fees! $19 per day for parking, water bottles and coffee in room are $3 each. Pools been down since November. Cafe advertises as made to order and it’s just cold sandwiches. No fan in bathroom, humidity build up was horrid.

It was connected to XL Center. Overly priced; terrible service at its bar/restaurant. The elevators were not working. Had to wait more than 20 minutes to get from the 7th to 1st Floor. Had to use the fire exits to get to the ground floor. Prices were outrageous. The room was clean, and the front desk was helpful.

The double billed me costing $600 for a one night stay. The hotel is under construction there’s only 1 working elevator, and construction mess around hotel. Parking garage is supposed to be comped and cost no more then $20 for car, the garage takes your ticket so you constantly have to go to desk to get verified. And can’t get a person on phone for billing error. All in all worst hotel experience I have ever had!

Rooms are quite good. Downstairs food area is limited as things are premade and then heated up. Area is convenient to many other restaurants and the baseball field and hockey arena. Car park is being renovated so bit dusty- but noisy and hard to work out the exits and which way to drive in and out of building. Little strange having apartments using one side of elevators and hotel using the other side. Indoor pool doors were locked so couldn’t access that- not sure why?

If this is a Hilton property then Motel 6 is now the Ritz-Carlton. I had to keep my shoes on in my room the carpets were so dirty, water blisters in the wallpaper from the room above. This is more Hostel than hotel. I no longer trust the Hilton brand. This property is 4th world at best.

Parking is $20 per day whether you leave or not. Beds were not properly cleaned. They gave you one bar of soap and didn’t replace towels. Awful.

Everything was great and comfy. Only complaint was the shower there were still a few pubes on the floor and walls of the shower so makes me curious how well it was cleaned. Overall would stay again. Extremely friendly staff

I was not warned that there would be construction noise and inconveniences due to the construction inside and out. My room faced a concrete wall. The room was not clean. No shuttle from airport and no continental breakfast. It was overpriced for the bare bones.

Overall it was a nice hotel to stay, only complaints were the walls and windows were too thin so I can hear everything outside and in the lobby on my floor. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful, I stayed for a convention and the distance from the hotel to the convention center wasn’t long, very convenient.

The check-in was quick and easy and our room was large and comfortable with a good AC. The bed and pillows were excellent and we both slept really well. We picked the hotel for its location and walkable distance to the Xfinity Theater and it was great for that. Our only gripe/complaint was with the location/sound from the room. We were on the back side of the hotel facing the highway and the sound was low but constant. It’s was basically a white noise machine 24-7 which wasn’t a huge deal but a little annoying. The bathroom arrangement was a little strange too. The door opened directly to the toilet and blocked the shower door when open.

Our room was newly updated and very clean. The only issue was the sound. The rooms are not soundproof and you could hear everything going on in hallway. We were woken by room service tapping all the way down the hall. Also, the daily parking seemed a bit high at $20. Street park if you can

We were here for a college graduation. Rooms were incredibly small and not suitable for a party of 3. Also, there was a soccer tournament. There were many young children screaming and running down halls. The walls were paper thin so we could hear everything

We stayed in a newly renovated room on the 9th floor, very close to the elevator, room was nice and clean, new furniture and the bed was very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again when in the area. We had one lminor situation but was handled by the front desk staff immediately.

We had a terrible time at this Hilton. We checked in at 3 and when we went to our room, we tried to connect to the wifi. There was no wifi. I called down to ask about the wifi and to ask for an extra blanket and they said someone will bring one up. After an hour of waiting, I went downstairs and they told me that again someone will be up soon. I finally got my blanket but still no wifi and no proper assistance with the wifi. I spent my whole stay there with no wifi. Then they gave me a complimentary cookie and the bag with the cookie had a hair sticking out of it. And then the fire alarm went off as we were about to sleep and we walked down the stairs that smelled like pee. Overall very dissatisfied with my stay.

Staff and hospitality service in this location are horrible. The front desk staff was unwelcoming at all times as if we owed them something. The first room we got assigned to had broken AC. Temperature went from 78 at when we entered to 80 at when we came back from dinner, even though cooling was set to 68. I called to request a technician to look at it. 30min after the front desk said he would send someone, no one showed up. We had to go downstairs ourselves to beg for service. Eventually he swicthed our room, to a king bed room, which was what I paid and reserved for. Remind you initially they gave me a double queen beds room and lied to me that there was not a king available to me. So how come when we had to switch the room, a king room was magically available, huh? 0 star to the hotel and their staff. 1 star is dedicated to their cookies.

The thermostat was broken in my room so there was no heat in the room - pretty cold. When I complained about this at checkout, they didn't even apologize. Instead, they wanted to know why I didn't call in a maintenance request during the night. (Because I was extremely tired and just wanted to go to bed.) I guess that's the Hilton strategy when someone complains: don't say sorry and blame the customer.

Stayed on 10th floor, and it was so noisy ALL night. Mostly traffic noises and some engine noise. I had to wear AirPod to cancel the noise. Very annoyingly. Not a good experience.

Arrived to Hartford aboard Amtrak Vermonter to check out a Yard Dogs minor league baseball game. Hilton, stadium and arena all close and walkable. Front desk extremely helpful, Juan a stand out. Restaurant/bar standout was the very professional Donna. New Jersey Patriots winners, a perfect getaway.

Check in really ruined this stay, as I had booked these rooms for guests on a large show my Choir puts on each year, and the hotel did not have the bookings straight in their system, had lost one of the bookings, and would not let another individual on the booking check the room in. Staff made no sincere effort to fix the problem, and now it looks like I was double charged.

When I arrived to speak with the front desk about getting a digital key, the lady was already upset for whatever reason and seemed to vent it out on me. I never got my key and even recorded the interaction to show how mean she was being to me.

Stayed for my husband's birthday. Chose the Hilton due to back to back events we were attending at the XL Center. Understand that there is construction going on as the renovations continue. Barring that, everything was great. Can't say enough wonderful things about the staff, especially Juan at the front desk. He went above and beyond.

Service was not great.1st sign of a rough stay was only 2 elevators available on a multi-floor bldg and fully booked weekend. 2nd negative experience: Our teenage son went up earlier in the night and used magenectic bolt lock to lock door. He fell asleep and did not hear the door knock or his cellphone ring. We went downstairs to get help from front desk who was the nightshift operation supervisor and he said there was no way to help just have to wait until son woke up. I continued to knock and call so son would open door, eventually leading for other guest to wake up and come outside to investigate noise. Someone must've called security as a member came up. We explained the situation he shook his head and could not believe front desk did not call. He apologized for inconvenience scanned the door and in room within seconds. 3rd drop in service is when asked for additional towel front desk never sent up so had to chase down housekeeping and grab myself. Not the hotels total fault other than they did not control the crowd. There were several families with school aged kids running throughout the hotel, pool and downstairs bar/main lobby. Understand an affordable pricepoint and family hotel but if the parents aren't controlling the kids would've liked the hotel to attempt some order, it felt like a chuckie cheese when in common areas throughout the day. Could not enjoy the amenties had to go downtown for options. Kids were out of control in pool so son did not enjoy.

The front desk staff was not friendly. The hotel is overpriced and you have to pay twenty dollars extra for parking. If you have a small pet that is seventy five extra. They don't even provide complimentary coffee or breakfast. The only benefit to staying there is that it is centrally located.

The room was nice and clean. It’s a very noisy location. Lots of traffic outside, but that can be overlooked because the location is so convenient to the arena. The issue I ran into was at the restaurant. The wait in line was astronomically long 30+ minutes. Then when I finally got to the front of the line I was told they were out of one of the items I requested. I said ok I need to find look at the menu real quick to pick something else, to which I was informed “we are really busy you know” by the man at the counter. I informed him I was aware they were busy but I patiently waited in the line the whole time I just needed a second to pick something else. I was then handed a menu which was for breakfast. Then he was able to track down one for dinner. I understand he was frustrated about being so busy but they could have said to the line “we are out of ——— Item” so people who are waiting looking at menus are prepared. I selected the cheeseburger and Chicken quesadilla. They came out fairly quickly, however the quesadilla didn’t come with all the listed sides. I figured it was a moot point to go ask because he had already been so rude. Later that evening I stopped back in to grab something before bed and someone different was working. The wait was still extremely long. While waiting two women were arguing loudly at the bar. I was able to place my order, however he did forget 1 of the 2 items I had ordered so I had to wait for him to get that. Not the greatest experience.

Bar was closed which was not ideal. Property was older and not super well kept up. Didn’t have hot water for my shower this morning. Bed was not comfortable. Staff was nice, but the hotel was definitely not worth the cost.

I wish I had a better view, I asked for a different room but they said the rooms available weren’t better. All the food available in the café is prepackaged/premade/frozen and overpriced. I ordered DoorDash for my food.
