The room was adequate. The shower water pressure was fair and there was no makeup mirror in the bathroom. The service here is terrible. There were no hangars in my room and it took 2 phone calls and 45 minutes for someone to give me some. The breakfast is mostly bagels, cereal and yogurt. They say it goes from 7 to 11 but when I came down at 9:15 there were no bagels. I waited 10 minutes after requesting them and left. I came back at 10 and now there were bagels but no coffee. This is not a cheap property and for the money it should give better service. This is not rocket science. This hotel is poorly run and definitely overpriced.

The staff and the room were both great. The shower drain was slow and would not drain properly, but there was no time to fix that while we were there. Otherwise, a perfect stay.

My stay was excellent. The property is very clean and well kept. Housekeeping was a little slow in getting to my room but was very responsive when I called for something. The continental breakfast could be better in terms of selection of food. I booked this hotel because I was attending the Hartford Jazz Festival. It couldn’t have been a better location. It’s a 5 minute walk from the festival. I plan to come back here next year. The small bar, Max, was a great place to hang out after the festival. They had a really good band every night. Excellent hotel.
