They have no AC and my door wouldn’t open even with the key I went back and and got help I had to jiggle and push super hard to get in. I have never stayed at a motel 6 and there is never have been any with NO air conditioning. Please have motel 6 update that in the website.

Worst desk guy ever. He went to dinner and locked the door so we had to wait to check in. Then was rude as we finally checked in. Room had minimal amenities. And it was dirty. Hadn’t been dusted in a while. Bed was broken. No A/C. And the ice machine was broken. Just as an unpleasant motel experience ever.

There was no heater in the room. Got a small portable heater, plugged it in and tripped the breaker. Our room and the one next door were on one breaker. Tripped 3 times. Couldn’t use heater. Ended up packing up and leaving at midnight

Conveniently located to the actually beach (sand) and the pier. Plus all the shops and restaurants. You can walk to everything. Its a simple 2 story motel. We had a ground floor room. Very small space. The bathroom window faces the street and a view of the ocean. There is no AC. But there is a ceiling fan. With light. This night must have been fully or almost fully booked. All the parking was full. We slept fine. But woken up a few times because the other guests hung around outside. Not being loud on purpose but was loud enough at times to wake us up. We stayed here because it was the least expensive and closest to the beach.

Bed, bedding, pillows are not comfortable. Bed slides everywhere if you move in n out of the bed. There was only one warm blanket thin as paper. It gets cold in the early mornings. Overall, best location to stay at. Also, the parking is so tight!

limited very tight parking, room was somewhat dirty (the fridge top was filthy), doors covered with dirty prints, bathroom smelled moldy, blinds broken, did not fit properly and let in lights all night, ceiling fan over table was so noisy could not use. we stayed three days and not once did the service the room for garbage or towels.

Expedia’s service is outstanding and I’ve used them when booking hotels before and have never had an issue with any of the rooms, until now I would not stay in THIS Motel 6 again. While the location is perfect (center of town, 1 block from the beach, the room was horrible. 1st, the a/c didn’t work. 2nd, to get the toilet to flush, you had to stick your hand in the tank and do it manually. 3rd, we found random black hairs in the bathtub and bathroom walls (they were straight, so we know they didn’t come from “down there”), but still. 4th, the tub took forever to drain and the water never got hot ( like warm at best. 5th, there were rust streaks and mold throughout the bathroom. 6th, the floor was extremely soft in places, soft enough that we walked around them because it felt like we were going to fall through the floor. By the time we got in the room for the night, the office was closed and nobody answered the phone.

Bathroom was felt really dirty, didn’t want to touch much. The bed has a massive dent the the mattress that was extremely uncomfortable and massive. I know it’s motel 6 but I’ve stayed at others and this was just gross and pretty unwell kept.

Our rooms were not that clean the bathroom shower was dirty the floors the counters, even one of the sheets on the bed how to stain the rooms and the linens need to be a lot cleaner, but it is close to everything. You can literally walk to the beach and all the restaurants Parking was great.

You can’t beat the location of this motel as it is a quick 3 minute walk to the beach. However, our room was not ready to check in until over 2 hours after check in time and manager was not willing to upgrade or give us a discount for the wait. There was no AC in the units, and the rooms were definitely not sound proof. LOL Other than that, rooms served their purpose and it was a decent stay.

This Motel 6 is the nicest Motel 6 I've ever stayed at! And I'm not just talking about the fact that it's located in downtown Pismo Beach and is walking distance from the pier and the shops and restaurants in the area. (As they say, location is everything.) The property itself is clean and well-maintained as well as our spacious rooms. The beds are creaky and the pillows are too soft and need more filling. Those are the negative things I can say about our stay. The staff are really friendly. And really, you can't beat the location. So overall, we enjoyed our stay. We'll definitely be back!

Check in was at 11:30 I arrived around 12:45 and there was a sign to come back at 2:00 pm when I came back the room was still not ready so I had to wait until it was ready. When we got in the room we were suppose to have a queen size bed and were given a full size. The door was hard to get into the room and me and my husband had to try for a good 3 minutes just to get in the house maintenance lady then advised us the door gets stuck.

They stole my $100 deposit and they will steal yours too. Stay away from this racket they tell you that you’ll get your deposit back but you won’t. It’s only after you leave that they invent some “damage” and keep your money. Corporate won’t be able to help you either. We were told we were going to be charged $20 for noise then keep the whole deposit for “damage to towels and linens” that’s the code for keeping your money. Victor is a racketeering rat be ware people they eating on your dollar

We got there at 3pm waited 2 hours to get check in cause room wasnt ready. The front desk guy ignored us for 10 min until he quit what he was doing to finally check us in. He didnf even apologized for the wait etc.

Friendly staff. Very close proximity to the beach, pier, shopping and restaurants. Once we checked in and parked our car we didn't use it the rest of our trip until we left. We walked around so much and loved that we didn't have to go looking for parking because it was that close!! We were both able to have drinks and not have to worry about driving or who'd be the sober driver. Our room was spacious, it had a king size bed, a microwave and a refrigerator with freezer. Check out was so easy and fast. We'll definitely be staying there everytime we plan to stay the night!
