We booked the Jr. Suite for our anniversary getaway specifically because of the spa tub amenity, so we were really disappointed when it didn’t work during our stay. That was honestly the main feature we were looking forward to, and it definitely impacted the experience for us. The staff was polite, but the issue wasn’t resolved while we were there. Overall, the hotel was okay, but this left us with lower expectations moving forward, especially for special occasions. I would just recommend confirming all amenities are fully functional before booking if that’s important to your stay.

The proximity to the beach is good but it is on the Pacific Coastal Highway so there is the constant noise of vehicles even with windows closed and the AC on. It is an older motel with thin windows and walls so we could hear the guests above and beside us plus anyone walking by. The 2 beds were comfortable and we did sleep until about 5 am when the first guests left. It was clean enough but old towels with stains and the bedding was a bit musty and older too.

Staff was friendly when we checked in… got to our room… ac didn’t work at all, ceiling fan was loud, water pressure in shower was almost non existent… took 20 mins to wash off soap… hotel is conveniently located within walking distance from most everything but that is all the good things I can say about this property
