Came here for a night. Jeremy was super nice and friendly. They accidentally gave us the wrong key at first. Arrived to a room that was 47F and took 3 hours to get to 67F with the heater and space heater running. It ended up getting so dry with no humidifier that we could barely sleep. The hot tub wasn't working. Wouldn't stay here again.

We loved our room and the open space behind the property where our dog and kids could play. Close to the runs and all of the restaurants. Very dog friendly.

I’ve always loved the cinnamon bear and this was my third stay here and it was the worst. I was disappointed because there was no parking on site at night. All the spots were filled and I had to park down the street on a different property parked illegally. No one answered the after hours number when I couldn’t park, the Jacuzzi was also ice cold and not turned on on Saturday Until I had to bother someone to ask them to turn it on. Very disappointed in my stay this time around. I have always raved about this place but this stay left a bad taste in my mouth.

An older property but it was clean and comfortable. Not at all dingy. Service was great! Plenty of parking. Close to Mammoth. The only thing I would have liked would be an in-room coffee maker as the lobby didn’t open until 6:30 am.

Check-in after 9pm is not available. Many time recently we checked in late 10pm in other hotels, we were lucky to reach there before 9pm. Limited, lower quality pillows. Shower had very low pressure. Soap dispenser was dispensing few drops at a time. Basically room had no amenities except a small refrigerator and microwave which were useless without any other amenities like a coffee kit OR cups/glasses to heat up water etc. in the room. Parking was limited , had to park in dirt/gravel parking at night.

The hotel is an older building, ever since we stepped foot inside, there was an odor in the lobby/breakfast area. We checked in and a key to our room was given. We went into the room and the rig had a large stain in the middle. Once we got back to the room and we were getting ready for bed, we noticed an excessive amount of hair on the sheets. Upon further inspection we noticed stains and dirt on the sheets and comforters, and our socks were completely black after a few minutes of walking in the room. We called the after hours line to let them know and someone came in to change our sheets, it took them 3 attempts to find clean sheets to put on the bed. To make matters worse, the walls were very thin so we could hear everything from upstairs, and we had trouble sleeping. We did not have a good experience, and for the amount we paid, we should’ve gotten better conditions, we will not be returning.

Luxury Suite. Rooms are old. The floors creek really loud. If you're downstairs, you will need to use their complimentary ear plugs. Furniture is outdated with stains and what not. Outside furniture was broken so we couldn't use it. Cleanliness was sub par, dusty and broken blinds, dusty floor, hair in the sheets, pillows off white, sheets not entirely clean/fresh. The kitchenware was dirty and had melted residue on them. WiFi didn't work. No clothes iron. The TVs had Roku so that was nice. Bed was soft. The fireplace heater was nice as well. Washer and dryer inside the room. If you're booking for bed and breakfast and you don't eat meat, they put meat in the eggs. They will NOT accommodate. We asked the cook for two scrambled eggs on the side and she said no, so I didn't get the pleasure of a hot breakfast. This is very unfortunate for travelers looking for a bed and breakfast. I definitely did not get what I paid for.

The employees were very nice and accommodating, the inn is very sweet, lobby is nice, good location. However, our room (especially bathroom) needed help. Shower head was coated in buildup, bathroom ceiling had severe water damage, the room’s floors were dirty and the blankets had stains on them. I wanted to like this place but I won’t be back, I felt gross and dirty the whole time I was there.

When we arrived there was a receptionist sitting in the dining area workong on a computer. She did not greet us so we sat down to wait for someone to help us. After awhile, she said can I help you. We did not know she was the receptionist. She asked about our reservation and told us we were too early And our room was not ready. We left and came back again and after an hour it was ready. Once entering the room we noticed that it wasnt throughly cleaned. There was hair on the counter in the kitchen and in the shower. The white sheets on the bed were stained in different areas. The mattresses were very thin and slanted. The next day we went in to retirn the keys and the same rude lady said pur thsm in the bowl and walked off. Not a noce stay.

Place was affordable and in a convenient location for a 2 night stay. Place had thin walls. Could hear the neighbor snoring all through the night. Had a hard time getting comfortable on the bed. Hairs everywhere. I don’t mind a few but they all over the bed, floor, and bathroom walls. I want to like this place. But if you are looking for a clean & quiet place, I’d suggest going elsewhere.

Cinnamon Bear Inn is completely overpriced! We stayed at this hotel 20 years ago and nothing has changed since then. Smelly bathroom; no housekeeping, no fresh towels; breakfast table was not cleaned when a guest left the table; breakfast was served in a very small room, almost no space to serve yourself; not enough parking spaces (we were offered a parking space in a flower bed, we preferred to park on the street). Will never go there again.

Very cute and quaint! I’d like to give 4.5, but it’s not an option. I love the retro appliances and LOVE. the in room Franklin stove. Our door deadbolt wouldn’t lock, and the TV kept losing signal (like every couple of minutes). I think check in should be 3:00, like most places. Regardless, it was comfortable, good location, and I’d stay again.

It was a nice and quick stay. I liked how cleaned and spacious the king studio was. The staff were all very friendly and were prompt. Check-in and checking out was a breeze. Parking was right in front of the room so that was convenient for me to unload. I would recommend this place to my friends and would stay here again. I did not try the breakfast or the hot tub. The rooms has a mini “kitchenette” which is nice but there isn’t a table to sit at unless you go to the lobby. I would say that the property seems to be a bit older so the gas heater and water heater/plumbing system did make a lot of noises. I personally didn’t mind it but I can imagine others might be bothered by that. I stayed during the winter and the heater worked excellently.

Older hotel with thin walls. The upstairs guests kept waking us up. It sounded like they were rearranging the furniture and falling into walls. The coffee bar was out of creamer at breakfast. I guess I’m used to nicer hotels. Disappointed 😕

The inn is cute in a rustic way, and the staff members were friendly. The stay would have been great if there were more options at breakfast for vegetarians (both mornings they added meat to the eggs, the only protein source, they could have served the ham and bacon on the side), they had a few more options at breakfast and a set up that allowed for guests to more easily serve themselves, and if the neighborhood were quieter. There is no a/c which only became an issue because the day was hot and it was impossible to leave the windows open (it was nice and cool at night but the room had warmed up during the 90s day) due to loud businesses across the street until almost 3am.

I chose this hotel because on Expedia the price was good and the rating was 8.8 -- Excellent. Let me start by saying that the only room I saw was mine --- #12. Maybe there are others that are better. This was the smallest hotel room I have ever seen. It had a double bed -- I don't think a queen would fit. There was no closet or facility to hang up anything. If they had included such a facility then there would not have been room for the tiny bathroom. It was SMALL!

First of all, the pictures that they show online are nothing like what the atmosphere actually is the hotel is actually on a little road right behind a road of shopping center and your view is the back of a shopping center. The TVs don’t work and there’s nobody there that can fix it so don’t plan on watching anything on TV. The rooms have been cheaply redone.

Breakfast quality horrible. I am not asking for foie gras, Brie and Cappuccino, but when the scrambled eggs and pancakes are barely warm ! Minimum variety of muffins and preserve non existent?! Standard room with two queen beds: POOR One bed had a very good mattress , the other bed has a mattress that was so old it was totally sagging when sitting or sleeping on it. In a nutshell the standard room is nothing better than a cheap motel.

The cutest inn at a great location. Great communication, check-in/check-out is a breeze, and very relational rather than a hustle-bustle big hotel chain. Very clean, the bed was as comfortable as ours at home, and has everything you need (free hot buffet breakfast, all the extra towels/blankets/etc, microwave, mini-fridge, and cute bear paintings!) They are very mindful toward their guests with their amenities, extra touches, and thoughtfulness. Lannie the innkeeper is an angel! We will definitely be staying here again for our next trip :)

We actually never made it to the property. We checked in online and when we started traveling, got an alert about evacuations caused by a wildfire that closed the highway. When we called, the manager rejected our request for a refund. Initially denying there was a road closure, then saying there was an alternate route (that would have added 3 hours to a 2 hour drive) Finally she saw we booked thru Expedia and sent us there. Expedia attempted to contact to resolve. They reported that they spoke with her and she refused. We will specifically avoid this establishment on our future trips through Mammoth.

Was made aware of no staffing after 6pm via text. Text and called as I received 2 different communications with different information about how to check in after 6pm. No response or clarification offered. Not ok- considering I’m driving 4 hours to get there and arriving at 1230 with worry of if I’ll have a place to lay my head. Figured it out on arrival but should have been communicated with. Walls are thin- you can hear snoring and folks leaving their rooms. Long holds to flush toilet.. lampshade water spotted and dirty. TV remote didn’t work. Just overall not a good stay.

This review is solely for the worst check in experience at this inn. I was basically charged 3x for the same trip. I had previously paid in full on Expedia 2 weeks prior. Then when I arrived early morning asking when I could check in, front desk girl named Princess said to come back at 2 and proceeded to charge my CC for 2 nights unbeknownst to me. Then I came back at 4 for check in and the front desk guy charged my CC again! OMG this was THE worst experience at this inn. I had to complain to Expedia and CC to rectify the situation. I never even got an apology from this inn. Very unprofessional and zero accountability. On the other hand the room was nice and clean. I would only come back if they get new management and staff. Room rated A. Management rated F.

Extremely pleased and surprised. Mammoth has a number of options and for the price, this was great. Very easy check in (online + in person), unit was spacious and recently updated, service was prompt when I needed help with the heater, breakfast was solid (basics plus pancakes/sausages/hashbrowns). Will definitely be staying here again in the future.

Only stayed one night here but it was great. We checked in late and our keys were kindly left at the reception for us to collect on arrival. Parking was easy, take a space and put the supplied permit on display. Lodge that we had was perfect, one king bed and one sofa bed more than enough for 3 adults - place was tidy on arrival

The front desk gal when we checked in was the rudest employee I’ve ever encountered at any business. The room smelled of outhouse disinfectant when we got to the room. We had to air it out for an hour. The wi-fi didn’t work. The jacuzzi was the most run down I’ve ever seen. The bed was limping and squeaked terribly loud with any and every move. The coffee was good. ;) I have never had such a bad stay somewhere before and have never given such a bad review but I want people to know to NOT stay here. (We checked in on 10/9/25 at 4:15pm)

For Mammoth, Cinnamon Bear Inn is a pretty nice place. On the smaller side, but beds are comfortable and it's a great location for access to Canyon or Main and for walking to a decent number of restaurants. For the price, it's worth staying at over the Westin, Mammoth Mountain Inn or Juniper Springs.

The staff was very welcoming and accommodating. The location is quite attractive off the main road making a quiet stay. However not much of a view. Breakfast was quite good with hot and cold options. Room had everything you needed but the TV was small and furniture needs to be exchanged.

The room had a persistent sewage smell. It was otherwise spacious and clean. The pillows were cheap and the bed was hard as a brick. I would not stay here again. They provide ear plugs because the property backs up to the back of a strip mall. Garbage pickup is early.

This was such a charming cabin! It was clean, dog friendly and included breakfast, which was homemade and delicious!!! It’s close to some restaurants, coffee shops and the bus to take you to the mountain. Could not have asked for a more memorable stay! 🐻

The hot breakfast (7am-10am) was amazing and buffet style. It was any combination of scrambled eggs, French toast, quesadilla, grilled cheese, sausage, Greek yogurt, and fruit. With plenty of pots of coffee, milk, and orange juice. They always had a water refill station and an ice machine. The Jacuzzi was hot and right next to the lobby. Easily walkable to the bus station for the redline. Right behind a strip mall where you had black velvet coffee, Schatz, bakery, liberty bar, etc.. Staff is Friendly. The shower water was hot. After reading previous reviews, I brought an eye mask and earplugs and didn’t have any issues with sleeping at night. I would suggest leaving your car in the parking lot and taking the bus as the lot gets full pretty quick
