Holiday Inn Express Los Angeles LAX Airport by IHG

The shuttle service communication. We called for pick up when we were at the pick up point at the airport and was told he would be there in 20 minutes. After 22 minutes, called again and they said oh it will be another 20 minutes. After we got to hotel, we found out shuttle only runs 1 time an hour on the hour. The hotel is only about a 5 minute drive and we got picked up until 8:20pm with our first call at 7:40pm There are other shuttles that run much more frequently so I would stay at another place next time.

Staff was excellent- all friendly and helpful. Best free hotel breakfast I've ever had. Bed was comfy, room was clean. For being so near the airport, i never heard the planes. And free parking! Such a bonus in LA. 7-11 right next door- very convenient. As was the Sizzler. We got in after a long day of flying and walked over for dinner. Easy peasy. Will definitely stay again. Thanks everyone!

No laundry facilities, breakfast was good, facility was clean.

This is a great hotel. Rooms and reception is clean and organized. Free parking is a HUGE plus as I have seen 75$ a night at other places. Staff is friendly and helpful. It is a bit noisy between rooms and especially to the outside but for being next to a big road and an airport it was very quiet at night. Only downside was quite poor breakfast and very small pool area (only four sun chairs). But overall we can definitely recommend this hotel!

Ease of travel to rental car drop-off and LAX. Lack of in-house laundry facilities.

We happened to stay on a busy night and staff was very accommodating. No issues checking in or out. Parking was a plus for us and while a bit crowded there was room for everyone. There might have been some sort of major event nearby but our stay was not affected. Overall good experience during the days of our stay. We certainly Recommend this location!

Stayed here for 2 nights enroute to Bangkok. Airport shuttle was very prompt from airport to hotel. Check in was very fast. The room was clean and bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was very good and offered cheese omlettes, scrambled eggs, sausages, pancakes, cereal, fruit and a variety of baked goods. There is a small gym and an outdoor pool. The staff was very nice . There is no restaurant on site for lunch or dinner but there is a MsDonald’s, a Sizzler Steakhouse and a Persian restaurant very close by. There are no other amenities in the area.

Every staff is courteous and helpful. Their shuttle service is just excellent, always on time and smiley.

Great place to stay! Free parking and breakfast make this super worth it over others nearby as well!

Room was clean, desk staff was friendly

It took forever to get the shuttle, but the airport traffic was horrible due to the holiday. So this might not be a problem on normal days. Found someone else's hair in the sheets and one of the towles. The staff was great! Checkin was easy. The bed was very comfortable.

I don't know why the high reviews. Greeted by hair on the floor and flecks of feces in the toilet. After asking why I wanted to change rooms, I got another room. Then new room was Okay. Dusty. Hallway dark and dim. Scary. Homeless ppl walking around with shopping carts in the neighborhood. Very expensive. Taking the Airport shuttle was a hassle as you have to call to get picked up at the airport . Expensive for a motel experience. Won't be returning...

We were quite surprised when we walked into this hotel. The service was excellent, the hotel, extremely clean and comfortable. The best part was the location to the airport. We loved the pillows so much that we got home and ordered them for our home. Would highly recommend this hotel and will be back.

Staff was very friendly and helpful, room had stains in sheets, shower curtain was dirty, shower was clogged and was taking a shower in a puddle of water up to my ankles, we checked in at 1 am so no point on calling maintenances when we had to leave first thing in the morni, worst oart was finding out in the morning my kids with bed bug bites on arms. Worst experience ever

I’ll just say that the beds were comfortable but the carpet was old, dirty and I didn’t not walk barefoot on it. The restroom floor was sticky all 4 days we were there.

The air conditioner units outside our windows were noisy

Hotels and rooms were very nice, but having our room on the side with the main road was very noisy at night making it hard to sleep. If staying here request a room on the parking lot side. Breakfast was very good if you eat the pastries and coffee was drinkable.

Location is great - very close to the airport but no plane noise. The walls are thin though and somehow there was leaf blower noise outside at 5 am in the morning. The staff was very pleasant, always smiling and kind, the shuttle was right on time, the breakfast options were plentiful. The hotel/rooms were very clean and I thought the interior was fairly renovated. Parking is a plus as well. Very happy to have chosen this hotel for a one night stay.

The rooms were nice and spacious and bed was super comfortable, but you could hear everything from the street outside, the hallway, and the room next door. The worst was everytime someone went out of their room it literally was so loud it sounded like someone slammed your door. Also you could hear beeping from vehicles on the street backing up and the traffic. This made it difficult to sleep. Also the shower didn’t have any body wash or bar soap, only shampoo and conditioner. Overall stay was ok. Loved that it was close to rental car drop off.

The hotel rooms here are very nice. The bed & pillows are very comfortable & the room & hotel overall was clean. It is however in a semi-sketchy area close to LAX. I would not recommend walking around that neighborhood alone at night. Rent a car to get around for sure. The hotel also has a very small, very limited parking lot which, at times was inconvenient.

This hotel has the nicest, most helpful people working there. They all greeted us with big smiles, from the shuttle driver who picked us up at the airport, to the front desk, kitchen staff, and housekeeping. They all made us feel welcomed. One employee didn’t fit with the rest of the staff. That was the shuttle driver who took us back to the airport. He was not friendly. Instead of taking us to our terminal, he dropped us off 1/4 mile away from where we should have been dropped. Other than that, we loved everything about this hotel. The free breakfast was hot and very satisfying. Everything was so good! It was clean and comfortable. It was close to where we were going. We will definitely stay there again.

I stay at this location whenever I am in town which is often. My stay this time was not at all what I usually experience. I had planned to stay 3 nights. My air conditioner was making a really loud noise and my shower was not draining. I mentioned it to the front desk. I was told someone would look into it. I was gone until late Saturday night. Upopn returning I found that the problem had not been taking care of. I stayed somewhere else on Saturday night which caused me loose 250.00. Upon returning Sunday I relized the problem still had not been taking care. I was truly disappointed being that I have never had issues before. But loosing out on a night that I did pay for because someone wasn't doing there job was frustrating. Noone ever got back to me to tell me if it had been checked. I even asked to change rooms and was told there wasn't another room available.

I stay here often. It’s close to the airport, the highway, and UCLA. The staff is always pleasant and professional. The bed was comfortable. My complaint is that there is not an extra blanket in the room, so you have to turn on the heater. There’s a ton of restaurants within walking distance. Shopping is close by as well. The breakfast is always good! My other complaint is there is not a dairy-free creamer option.

Stay was great however, the shuttle driver was extremely rude and disrespectful. We showed up 10 minutes before departure as we were told that the leave every hour, on the hour, sharp. We asked if we could load and he told us he would let us know when it’s time then proceeded to go inside and get other guests who were running late and started loading them. He doesn’t speak great English and neither did the customers who were late to the shuttle so they were speaking and laughing as we were still standing waiting to put our luggage in. He finally loaded us after everyone was loaded.

From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel truly welcome. Every morning, they greeted us by name with a smile, creating such a warm and personal experience. Their friendliness and attention to detail made our stay incredibly special. Bonus: breakfast included and close to stadium! Highly recommend for anyone looking for comfort and genuine hospitality!

Our stay here was very nice. Our driver, Danny, who picked us up at the airport was helpful and nice. Check in and check out was very good. Breakfast was excellent and the ladies overseeing the dining area were wonderful! We would definitely stay here again !

The bus driver for this hotel pick us up from the airport on 9/25/2024 around 9:20 PM was very rude to my wife When he pulled up to us asian man got on the bus first and told the driver he was going to Holiday Inn express and sit down. My wife got on the bus next and told the driver that she was going to Holiday Inn express he told her in a tone let me see the address of the hotel, she said I’m going to the Holiday Inn express and he said let me see the address of the hotel and she said sir you don’t have to talk to me like that. He say you don’t know where you’re going. We stood there wondering why did he say that when he did not ask the Asian man question who got on the bus before my wife we believe that the fact that my wife was standing there with me and my brother two black men was the reason why he questioned my wife about us getting on the bus after we showed him the address he let us on right after we got on. He picked up a white lady. She said she was going to Holiday Inn express she sat down when we got to the hotel. We asked the front desk person. Is there any other Holiday Inn expresses near the airport and he said no so we were wondering why would he ask us which hope Holiday Inn express we were going to when they were only one in the airport that he worked for we reported that to the front desk the front desk said that they were reported, but I wanted to put the whole incident on here So this incident will not go on heard

Overall, streets of LA are dirty. Limited dining in this specific area as far as walking distance of any food you would trust. Every Uber ride is 1 minute away though and more desired areas of LA are a short ride away. Hotel is in a convenient location, specifically for our purpose of attending Sofi Stadium. Would definitely head into beverly hills / hollywood for much more classy dining options.

We have made this our go to place when we visit our son. We chose it because it is safe easy to get to and in a pretty good neighborhood. The parking did get tenuous but the staff went out of their way to make it work. Other than a few homeless people, the stay was very pleasant.

Great area: close to airport, restaurants and rental car

Had a great stay here in early July. Service was excellent, Mike at the front desk was very pleasant to speak and joke around with at night. Rest of the staff attentive and responded quickly to any requests I made. If I'm back next year for the same event I'll likely stay there again - biggest factors were the breakfast and parking included. Driving to and from rental car location made things so much simpler.

For an airport hotel, it was as I expected it to be. We chose it based on location, wanted close to the airport and pretty central to the activities we had planned. The fact that it has free breakfast and free parking was what made it more appealing to us vs other hotels in the area. We had no issues while staying there, and would stay again if we were coming back.

The hotel is close to LAX about ten to 15 minute walking distance. The hotel also offers parking for guests and shuttle to the airport.

The Holiday Inn Express Airport hotel was very clean. Breakfast was excellent. I especially loved the cinnamon rolls! Free breakfast and parking. The location was a 10 minute drive to the beach and LAX airport. We will definitely stay here again.

Practical place to stay near the airport, includes breakfast, comfy beds, black out blinds. Its a shame breakfast is served on disposable plates/cups/cutlery- not very environmentally friendly

I contracted food poisoning from the cooked breakfast items. It was the only different meal I ate from my wife so this plus the fact that I have a career in managing airline catering makes me pretty certain. It took my wife three attempts to get the desk staff, who were disinterested, to contact the manager, and she was in complete denial about it being their fault. She should have at least raised an investigation in the interests of other guests, but she didn’t bothe. and we didn’t hear from her again. Also, we now know why we got a special rate. We were put in a room at the rear of the hotel over the bag where garbage is stored, and every morning between 6 and 7:00 am. we were woken by the noise of a truck running its engine and collecting the garbage using a fork lift mechanism.

This is a perfect hotel for convenient access to LAX. Although we didn’t need the shuttle service, they do provide transport to and from the airport. We had a car and I liked that the parking was included in the hotel rate. The rooms were well appointed and clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The complimentary breakfast selection was also good. When I need to stay overnight for an early morning flight, this will now be my hotel of choice. I highly recommend it!

Nice place to stay. Good breakfast, convenient. Wish it had more dining options around as Sizzler is about it or McDonalds.
