Holiday Inn Express Los Angeles LAX Airport by IHG

Did not eat at the hotel. Rooms need updating. Shuttle convenient but took quite awhile time to arrive at LAX

The WORST thing an airport hotel can have is an unreliable shuttle schedule. I asked three different staff members about their shuttle schedule and they all told me that the shuttle leaves the hotel at the top of the hour. Yet they don’t! They leave sporadically. And no one told me that I needed to call to reserve a pick up from the airport. So what I happened was that I took the shuttle TO the airport to send my mom off. Then I went to the shuttle station shortly after the top of the hour to wait for the shuttle to stop by. If the shuttle leaves the airport at the top of the hour, I will for sure catch it. Yet I waited 15 minutes there and saw no shuttle. I called the hotel and then was told that the shuttle had already hit the airport pick up location around the top of the hour. I ended up waiting 50 minutes to get picked up. During the time, I had seen all the other hotels’ shuttles at least 4-5 times. This is ridiculous. I’m never going back to this hotel.

easy breakfast, comfy beds, easy shuttle to thew hotel.

The staff were great the hotel feels aged with updates but many things clearly show the age of the complex.
