Convenient for me for my work trip. Had everything I needed. It doesn’t matter to me but the property is old so it inevitably shows wear and tear. The only way for that to not be true would be to gut a place and completely refurbish it. I wouldn’t want to see that happen because I happen to like older buildings. I like a room door and trim that has 15 layers of paint on it but still works just fine and an old wrought iron railing with lots of paint layers too. As long as it’s clean and well kept, which it was, I prefer it! I hate the cookie-cutter chain hotels where I forget what town I’m in ‘cause they’re all the same. Perfect place for me, easy walk to Farmer’s Market for dinner and then to Cedar Sinai for work in the morning. I would stay again

All vibes; no substance. Super cool concept but there are no amenities, the air conditioner was broken and the rooms just feel seedy and dirty. Would not stay again or recommend, but it’s a cool spot for a photo shoot!
