All employees were courteous and attentive! It’s an older property that needs a few upgrades to accommodate more guests. Really need to pay attention to security! There was a lot of what seemed like local townies coming in and out of the back doors of the pool area. A worker noticed but the young team of kids didn’t listen and did whatever they wanted. Fitness room was ok with 3 working machines and complimentary bottled water. Coffee was hot and breakfast smelled great! My family slept in so we didn’t get to indulge. But overall we had a decent stay except for having to leave the pool area due to those rowdy people.

Had a wonderful experience with checking in very friendly and even though I was early checking in it went with no problem room was clean great breakfast loved it only problem I can even think of was the Jacuzzi was out of order other than that very satisfying experience

Right off the bat, we arrive at 11pm tired and ready for bed ,and were told all the elevators broken so now we have to lug 6 suit cases up 4 flights of stairs , feels dingy, big stains in the hall ,feels like they slaped a coat of paint on a motel 6 and put they're logo on it , we always stay at HIE every where we go , by far the worst one we've been to. To top it off woke up this morning with a Mysterious bite on my arm , hoping its not bed bugs

Very disappointing. We got a room at this hotel because it has an indoor pool and jacuzzi. There are no pictures of the pool for a reason. It's disgusting! I sat in the jacuzzi and realized I was covered in dirt and a greenish black grime. You cannot see the floor of the pool because it is that dirty. The outdoor chairs are covered in bird poop. The air conditioner in the room worked great, and the beds were comfortable. The walls are paper thin, and you can hear everything from the next room. Should have saved our money, and went to swim at the local community pool.

This facility is really beat up. The highlights first: amazing shower water temp and pressure, comfy bed, staff helpful and friendly, breakfast more than adequate and tasty. All amenities seemed available. Much appreciated. On the negative list: housekeeping did not clean our room on a 2 night stay, floors dirty throughout. Dirty halls means gross dirty room carpeting. Did not take my socks off.

When we checked in there was stuff left in the fridge and ants … called immediately they sent some to clean the fridge but didn’t even apologize … no compensation or anything… I used my own Lysol to spray everything down

Bathroom floors filthy, had layer of dust & hair under sink & behind toilet. Bodily fluid splatter on wall behind toilet & bath ceiling. Hair left in tub and walls of tub. Tub did not drain, rising within 5 minutes. Door handles, ALL, had dried slime/filth. Comforters with holes. Couch bed terrible! Filled with crumbs and dirt. Mattress was springs & fabric only. Literally sleeping on springs! However, staff were kind & breakfast was great! Staff continued to wipe down & clean areas during breakfast.

My first day checking in went great until we got to the room , the room was dirty and took videos of it . But I went to tell the people at the lobby and they told me they will give us a new room which he did and it was way better . No complaints i understand it’s a hotel but just was a bit upset that the first room wasn’t cleaned properly.

I booked this room because the hotel had great reviews, but we had an awful experience with roaches. We stayed on the second floor, and had our small dog with us, so maybe it was just that it was a 'pet' room or something, but considering that I paid extra for the pet deposit, I'm even more upset. As soon as we entered the hotel my husband found a roach scurrying up the wall, he knocked it down and killed it, but before the night was over there were 2 more incidences of roaches running across the tile behind the fridge. I spoke to the front desk about it and I said the fridge probably has a nest or something and they told me they would speak to housekeeping to see what they could do. They took my phone number down but never called me back. It was horrific. They could have swapped the fridge out, laid sticky traps or gave us a different room and I would never have written this review, but they did nothing and I'm disgusted. I'm sure the breakfast that everyone is raving about was great, but I couldn't eat there with my experience.

I should have read the reviews before booking. The walls are thin and you can hear conversations in the adjacent room. The guests around us had a great time all night long. The staff did nothing to quiet them down.

Our stay was overall excellent. The room was clean, spacious, and the bed was EXTREMELY COMFY. The check-in was quick, and the breakfast buffet was delicious. A few minor details: 1) we were given a handicap room, not sure why. 2) The shower/shower curtain did not keep the water inside the area. We went through multiple towels to clean it up. 3) The bathroom door would not stay open without a prop and the exhaust fan was not working.

The property is convenient off the freeway with lots of shopping and food options close by. Our check-in went smooth and quick and the staff was friendly. The elevator could use some updating but worked for us while we were there. The beds (mattresses) were very uncomfortable and left us with sore backs. It was challenging to find a guide for the TV but it worked well with plenty of channels. Otherwise the room and property seemed clean and in pretty good condition.

The room was clean and comfortable. The service was good, but the hotel was so loud I couldn’t sleep. I had traveled all night and hope to get some needed rest. It was impossible. The house keeping staff were so loud, and guests conversations could be heard and understood in the hallway. Also the window shades were poorly installed and were unable to shut out the light because of a large gap. I have had good luck staying at this chain in the past many times, but I cannot recommend this location

Loved the friendliness of the staff and cleanliness of the room. However the room we stayed in, we had a loud noise coming in from the outside don’t know what it was maybe a generator of some sort but it was loud. And we can also hear the people next door talking all night. So thin walls would be my only complaint. Overall stay was pleasant

It annoys me when basic maintenance is not done. For instance the ice machine on my floor was out of order all 3 nights I was there. Also, the refrigerator wasn't very cold and the knob to adjust the temperature was missing. Does thst mean the cleaning crew missed this because they didn't actually clean the refrigerator or that the owner is too lazy (or cheap) to have it fixed? The breakfast was ok but very hard to customize if one has particular food needs. It was better than a lot of hotels I've stayed in since Covid, but a half-hearted effort at best. At night, they apparently only had one person working; consequently asking for towels (soon after checking in about 730 pm) meant a trip down to the front desk. It seems like the rate we paid should have provided us a better experience at a Holiday inn express. Its not like we were at a Motel 6. It just feels like the owner/management wanted to barely put forth the effort to make it a truly enjoyable experience.

We rented the family room which was amazing. 2 separate quarters, 2 full baths, there was one problem. Maybe a couple very insignificant. There should be a light installed over the coffee area because trying to make a cup of coffee in the night was very hard that. Closet that holds the microwave and coffee machine is extremely dark. Putting something in there, would really help. Wanted to compliment the night desk staff who tried desperately to get our TV fixed. ,which never happened, but the effort that they put in was commendable and appreciated.

Every single staff member that I dealt with was kind, friendly and eager to help. We were there due to an emergency and everyone was wonderful. The complimentary breakfast is one of the better ones and my kids loved the free cookies at the front desk. Our room was clean and comfortable. And extra points for having liquid hand soap in the bathroom! It’s a little thing but I wish more places provided this.

Let’s begin with check in. I got off the car myself to check in and the receptionist was rude from the get go. Before I could even speak she rudely informed me that she doesn’t take any prepaid cards only credit cards and I asked if my debit bank card was ok and she said as long as it has funds. After that I asked if a crib was available for our 9 month old baby and she said that they’d have to look and she never did nor did she help us get more towels sent to our room. Pool was out of order. The rooms and hall ways were filled with mosquitos and the room was so dirty that my toddler was trying to eat left over snacks off the floor. We wanted a place to relax but instead we crossed the street to target to buy cleaning supplies to deep clean the room that my children husband and I were going to be sleeping in for two nights. I would have left but no other hotels had a room available and it was to late to go home since we come from Los Angeles

My overall experience was good and would recommend it to anybody staying in Hesperia. The reason for the 4 star review is due to my check in experience. My family and I had traveled at that point for 10 hrs from Texas to California , upon arrival we were early for our check in @3pm for about 10 minutes and we were asked to come back in 1 hour because our room was not ready. We left and came back in an hour only to be told that our room was still not ready , the staff told us that as soon as the room was ready they would give me a call. Another 40 minutes passed and finally our room was ready after almost 2 hours of waiting which is completely unacceptable. As a client you are expected to adhere to their standards of early cancellation, check in and check out times among other things and they completely failed to meet their end which is to have the room ready for a paying customer arriving timely. All we were told was that they were sorry and that we could help ourselves to some complimentary Chips and cookies for the time we waited. A complete lack of accountability and a accommodation. Again the hotel is good , breakfast is great , rooms clean but just give them a call ahead of time and ask if your room will ready so you avoid my experience

Not sure if there had been a water leak, but there was a carpet drying fan on outside our door, the microwave in our room was missing and the was a large brown stain on the sheets of one of our beds. We did not notice this getting into bed. The was also a homeless person walking around outside during the morning attempting to get inside the building. What can I say other than California. Other than that the staff was helpful in the moring letting us use their staff microwave and they did attempt to run off the homeless person. Im not planning a return the CA at any point so i can say if i would book here again.

The place is located centrally between two cities… Hesperia & Victorville. Is close to shopping centers and restaurants. It as an indoor swimming pool that is no limited for extreme hot weather. Breakfast included is awesome for early folks.

The hotel was clean and very up to date. Checkin and check out was easy. I liked that there was shampoo, conditioner and body wash that was available in the shower and it was Dove! There was no soap to wash hands though. Not even a bar of face soap. Hot tub was hot but needed a good cleaning. The room was spacious and had plenty of lighting, outlets and USB options. All in all, it was a great stay!

It was for New Year’s Eve we went to a party check in was fast the employees greeted us with a smile offered water and snacks breakfast was great even though there were some unsupervised kids causing trouble the young ladies handled it well and cleaned up quickly so nobody would fall I remember one employee in general cleaning and refilling food and would like to acknowledge her name was Rosa and another employee helping her I believe her name was jeny

Everyone from the front desk to housekeeping were cordial and friendly. I don't recall the name of the young woman who was at the front desk when we checked in, but she remembered us and was very welcoming. In addition, the breakfast was delicious and the lady in charge kept it spotless. The biscuits and gravy were a hit!
