I would have given 4 stars for every category, but when we arrived there was a notice advising the swimming pool was out of order and it was 47°C outside! Why can't hotels send out a notice when something significant is not working?

Great place to stay when flying out of Phoenix! Close to airport, free shuttle. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Shuttle was quick to and from airport.

Hotel room, breakfast, and service were all excellent. The it's and I went swimming that evening and the pool was very dirty and had not been cleaned. There was also a dead bird in the circulation drain of the hot tub and it smelled like it had been there for a while.

I enjoy this hospital every time we stay. Sometimes the staff greets us and sometimes they don't which is where they can improve and also the elevator is really slow. The rooms are great and the amenities are as well. This is one of the best hotels in the Phoenix area, hands down!!! We will be back!!!

Room was clean, modern and spacious. Staff were helpful and friendly. Elevators doors were a bit sketchy. When opening and closing they made a horrible grinding noise. If I wasn’t on the 4th floor I would have lugged my bags up and down the stairs.

This was a weird stay... The Hotel looks like it's been renovated recently. The rooms are very spacious, and the beds were very comfortable! But the walls were so dirty in our room that there were dirty marks on the wall that we could wipe off... The bathroom was super clean, but reeked of bleach. It smelled like they dumped a bottle of it in there. When we arrived and checked in the staff member was polite but zero attempt at friendliness or conversation. Did not give us any information about the property whatsoever and then when we ask questions about things like pool time, we're given answers that seemed annoyed. However, the morning staff member at the desk was incredibly warm, friendly, and engaging. Same happy to help! The breakfast was decent. For that price we would stay there again for an overnight airport trip. But not for longer than that.

Typically SpringHill Suites are a pretty decent option. Everything was okay, except for a mildew smell in the room. We don’t have much options after a long trip and we’re only there for one night, so we powered through.

This hotel was probably one of the dirtiest hotels my family has stayed at. There were dirty hand prints left on the restroom door, possible blood splatter on the wall near a light switch, brown water marks left near the shower door, easily wipeable marks left on the wall in the restroom, and 3 splatters of some brown liquid on the tissue roll dispenser behind the tissue roll, and VISIBLE trash left on top of the couch, and crumbs left all over the foot rest of the couch. The photos were taken upon entering the room for the first time, and after being in a car driving for 7-8 hours that day, my family and I did not have it in us to pack back up our stuff and find another hotel/deal with getting a refund. I may never stay at Springhill Suites again because of this one experience. I hope the bedding was at least changed because it seems like housekeeping did the absolute below bare minimum. I received no response from the check in clerk after telling them about the dirtiness of the hotel.

From the pics and reviews, it looked like the rooms were updated but our room kind of felt dated. Our room had a weird smell to it and the tub did not drain that well, so when you showered it filled up. The walls could use some cleaning, they were a bit dirty. Also to note, the sofa bed felt more like a twin and not a queen sized bed. The other beds were comfortable though.

There was an overwhelming smell when entering the room, the carpet was damp and the ac unit was loud. On the flip side, the beds were comfortable, the room was spacious and well located. Breakfast was good with plenty of options. Price was excellent. I would stay there again.

The rooms are well designed and spacious. The built-in desk with plenty of USB connections very nice along with the couch. I found it nice that it was a shower instead of a bath shower combo. Very clean and modern

The property is in the middle of a corporate park (or felt like it!) but still close to ASU and the airport. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast is convenient. The rooms were fine though our ADA room’s blinds wouldn’t open or close - they were down for our entire stay so the room was very dark. We were only at the hotel for 2 nights so not a big deal.

The property was generally clean, but the room was not as comfortable as the pics show. The sofa bed was a trundle bed that was not made to rise, so it was on the floor and the couch was not comfortable for the other occupant. The toilet flush was very loud, so using it at night woke up all others in room. The bathroom sink was separate from toilet and shower, but there was no door on that section of the bathroom so using it made the room light up at night, also waking the other occupants. If you don't mind the above, the stay was fine otherwise.

Pros - Room furniture was well laid out. Bathroom was a very nice size. Cons - No freezer in the in room refrigerator. No outlet for cpap machine. Had to run cord to foot of bed wall.

The night person was very nice and energetic, he was always greeting and very helpful. but there was one lady in the afternoon forgot which day, she was very rude. We said good morning multiple time but ignore us but when other people (who weren’t my color) sorry to say, she greeted them instantly.

I stay there every week. When I check in Lucia is a fantastic person greeting me and does a great job. Makes you feel welcome. Very hard worker. When I check out on Monday morning Marimel is the person that starts my week off on a great note. She is one of the biggest reasons I stay there exclusively. Her smile, attitude and friendliness is contagious and you leave in a great movie and happy you stayed there. Make sure to hold onto Lucia and Maribel. And quite frankly all the staff there are very polite and friendly. Really recommend staying there

I stay there very often. The Woman who works at the front desk most Sundays when I check in is absolutely incredible. Treats guests fantastic. Then on Monday mornings when I check out the woman with glasses every time is equally incredible. So friendly, so polite and really makes you want to stay there and nowhere else. Told us cleaners left for the entire weekend so we are not able to get extra pillows ( no pillows were provided for the sofa bed) Front desk lady was not welcoming at all. Asked for id and a credit card and gave us our keys, no smile or any kind of friendliness in her greeting. After a long trip down to phoenix from Canada it was not a pleasent welcome. My family and I will not be choosing springhill in the future.

We received extremely horrible customer service from the front desk clerk. She was extremely rude and had a very unpleasant attitude every time we dealt with her. The hotel itself its in a nice area, seemed clean.

The mattress was broken/worn out, I sunk in and felt the bed frame…super uncomfortable especially for a 30 week pregnant women. Then for breakfast there was hardly any food available or missing condiments and a broken juice machine. There was no staff to ask for anything and the one person at the desk was on the phone and I waited 25 minutes.

Spacious rooms and quick check in with friendly staff.Shower door is clear with no curtain- the toilet next to it so no privacy if your kiddos need to pee while u shower. Plenty of parking. Breakfast was okay. No waffles or pancakes. They had ham crossiants, muffins, some cereal and sausage. Overall would stay again.
