Beautiful hotel overlooking the Mediterranean. We were lucky to get a room that also faced Mount Etna. The breakfasts were beyond delicious. It was a feast for a king with a wide selection of frittatas, pies, desserts and fruits. Staff were extremely kind, and ready to help. There is also parking on site.

Good size room and we had an amazing view off our balcony. Shower stall is very small and uncomfortable. The breakfast spread is incredible, but I was disappointed that the hotel bar/restaurant had a very limited menu. There were about 10 items listed but they only had 4-5 of them available.

This is a lovely place! We had a view of Mt. Etna and the bay. We had our own private terrace. The dining area has beautiful views of the water and the gardens surrounding the property. The food choices were varied. All the staff were friendly and helpful! There is parking right on the premises. You can walk into town. Be aware that it is an uphill walk.

The position of the hotel is amazing. Staff cheerful and helpful. Rooms cleaned daily with clean towels. Breakfast for any taste. No restaurant or pool but reflected in charge and short walk to town although up steps. Bar opens at 3pm so lovely to sit on terrace with a glass of wine.

Property was beautifully set into the hill with its own gardens and wonderful views. My room was clean but my friend's room seemed to have an ant problem. The property was a short walk to all of the Taormina sights.

After rough day driving we were tired when we arrived. The place looked dated and we dragged our luggage down the stairs (Found the elevator later.). BUT, as our four day stay went on we came to enjoy the quirky ‘old world’ 1908 atmosphere. It became the BEST place we stayed in Sicily. Attentive staff at breakfast and at the bar in the evening. Rooms made up immaculately.

Lovely characterful hotel. Spotlessly clean. Fantastic breakfast. Really friendly staff. Great sea views from the room and of Etna from the terrace, though weather was not great for May. Uphill walk into Taormina with about 100 steps, though only takes 10 mins or so, 15 total to reach Corso Umberto. Enjoyed our stay despite the unseasonal weather.

Great hotel in an amazing hillside setting in Taormina. Most rooms have sea views which are incredible. Our room was clean and comfortable with an exterior balcony. Great breakfast. Easy 15 minute walk to the heart of the old town. The parking is limited so we would advise making arrangements with the hotel before arriving to make sure that space is reserved. Friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended.

Hotel Bel Soggiorno is in a fantastic location, close to the center of Taormina with easy access to everything. However, our room was a bit disappointing. The photos online showed ocean views, but in reality, our balcony overlooked the elevator, which was moving up and down all the time—not a pleasant view. In addition, the lunch service was very slow, which took away from the overall experience. With some improvements, this hotel could be excellent.

The amazing view from our room and the dining area in the hotel was SPECTACULAR. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and the location was ideal - the hotel is about a 10-minute walk from the city center. I was able to park my car on-site as well. The room was spacious and clean. I would and will recommend Bel Soggiorno to friends traveling to Taormina for sure!

Awesome view, accommodations and staff. Beautiful terraces to with amazing views and have a cocktail. Hotel is gorgeous. Staff go out of their way to make your stay memorable. We were leaving at 6:45 am . They had prepared us a breakfast on the terrace and oacked us a lunch for our trip. We will definitely be back.

Such a lovely old school hotel. Nestled on the hillside it was in easy walking distance to the shopping, cable car and bus terminal. Breakfast was excellent and different each morning. Staff were very helpful and attentive. Great value for the level of service and accommodation.

This was our first hotel stay in Sicily for my wife's birthday celebration. From the moment we parked our car to the final goodbye, this hotel was fantastic. The room was so roomy and beautiful. The outdoor terrace overlooking the water was magical. The staff were graciously friendly and attentive! The breakfast was wonderful and I even got to play a tune or two on their piano and sang Happy Birthday with the staff to my wife!! We love Hotel Bel Soggiorno!

The views are magnificent but rooms and common areas were disappointing and need some care. Breakfast and drinks were very good. Front desk staff were unfriendly and not very welcoming. I had been communicating to arrange a ride from the train station (I was traveling with my 84 yr old mother) and was told early on to notify them 3 days ahead. When I did that I was told to get a cab. Confusing but not an issue until no cabs were available. When I called to let them know and get assistance, one desk person hung up on me. Very disappointing.

We loved our stay here just as much,if not more than the first time we stayed here!! All our needs were well attended to by their excellent staff. Parking was very convenient and safe. Daily breakfast selection was wonderful and varied each day!! Spectacular views from dining areas and from our room balcony of the sea, coastline and MT. Etna. Beautiful flowers everywhere. I will definitely stay here the next time we visit Taormina. The location is perfect, close to shopping and restaurants and cafes. The staff made excellent recommendations for dining in the evening and were able to secure reservations for us which was important. This hotel is perfect for restful nights! Thank you Bel Soggiorno for wonderful memories and an amazing stay!

A great little spot, about a 10/15 min walk to the centre of Taormina, reception gave us the directions on arrival which are up some steps initially. We had a lovely sea view room with a terrace, table and chairs plus two loungers. Breakfast was a buffet style with lots of options and served in great setting. Staff were very friendly. On-site parking was 25 euros per day. We liked the location as it was away from the centre.

We had a room with a fantastic view of the water. Staff were very helpful. The breakfast was fantastic. Walkable to the central part of Taormina where there was tons of shopping and dining options. The property sits high so lots of steep walks and steps. But we were okay with that since you got rewarded with amazing views. Also walkable to Taormina bus terminal from where we took a direct bus to Catania airport. That was very convenient. The train station is not walking distance but you can take a taxi.

The only thing that was difficult was the walk to the town center. It’s vertical steps and QUITE a bit. Other wise great location. Any one with any walking difficulties you might not want to stay here. Also excellent breakfast!!! We loved it!!! Highly recommend it!!! If we go back definitely would stay again.

I can’t imagine a more beautiful setting than this hotel. Old world charm, ocean view rooms. Exceptional staff who treat you like royalty. It’s a 10 minute walk up hill to town of Taormina by an incredible public park. View of Mount Etna, the sea shore towns, and the sea. I would return in a minute! The breakfast was absolutely delicious. All homemade items, fantastic quiches, bruschetta and they cater to gluten free, dairy free and decaf drinks. My husband and I couldn’t have been happier here. Plus we met lovely fellow travelers there and took the local bus together up to Castlemola for a day’s outing. Recommend taking the Mount Etna tour and godfather tour too.

I had a great stay in this traditional and elegant hotel. It's located a short walk from the centre of taormina with its selection of shops and restaurants. Service was good and the lounge and terrace were perfect for enjoying a drink in the afternoon. Breakfast options were extensive - i don't think I've ever had tiramasu for breakfast before.

Fabulous location; hotel with a lot of character, spectacular garden and phenomenal views of the bay. Staff was extremely helpful and took care of parking the car.
