A friendly welcome from Frank (and dog Darcy) who quickly responded to a few minor issues. Frank, that is, not Darcy! The house is quirky with lots of character and located in a peaceful rural setting yet a few minutes drive to Sanford for supermarket and restaurants. The beds were comfortable and the pellet stove in the cosy living room was very welcome as the weather was cool for our first few nights. The kitchen was well equipped with coffee machine(s), toaster etc. although the head room under the sloping roof would be a little tight for 4 people seated at the table. We were visiting relatives in the neighbourhood and the farm was ideal for our purpose.Would have no hesitation in returning.

We had a wonderful 3-week stay at Frank’s Maple Moon Farm in Lebanon, Maine. Frank is a fantastic host—very helpful, kind, and a joy to talk to, especially with his love of history. The house, built in 1790, has a rustic and vintage charm while still being very comfortable and well-kept. Everything was clean and thoughtfully stocked with what we needed in the kitchen and bathroom. The bathroom lighting was bright, the shower had great water pressure and plenty of hot water, and the beds were comfortable with lots of closet and drawer space. It was quiet and dark at night, with just the right amount of night lights for safety. The grounds are beautiful, with trails to explore and gorgeous sunsets to enjoy. As a bonus, Roux’s Farm Store is right next door on weekends, offering fresh local beef, chicken, pork, eggs, milk, maple syrup, honey, homemade bread, and more—it was a real treat.Overall, this was a very fun and comfortable extended stay. We truly enjoyed our time here and will definitely stay again!
