We were staying only one night which is unfortunate because they upgraded us to a 1 bedroom suite on the 18th floor for no charge (elevators are a bit slow). The room was well appointed though a bit dated in terms of bathroom facilities - everything was in working order just a bit past its prime. Very spacious room and nice view of the botanical zoo. We checked in late and unfortunately missed the cut off time (10:30?) for on-site breakfast and had to go nextdoor for a pricier meal

Buen hotel, pero a media colina. Subir desde la zona baja, caminando, es prácticamente inviable. Eso sí, las habitaciones con vistas, son espectaculares. No sirven desayuno. Hay un restaurante en el edificio pero cuando lo necesitábamos, estaba cerrado.

Other than the daily change of towels & garbage, my husband & I enjoyed walking through the Botanical Garden on our way to the Central MTR station every day. Even though the hotel is a bit out of the way to the MTR station, we were able to leave our luggage at the hotel before check-in time once we arrived from the airport and also after our check-out time to go to the airport. A must to go swimming in the pool on a hot & humid day. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Clean. Convenient location. 12A bus gets you to Central every 15 minutes in 10 minutes. Restaurant and pool were closed when we were there. No coffee maker or microwave provided…only a fridge. Really weak WiFi! Had to go across the street to TwoM hotel for food or drinks..beautiful view from 8th floor and Happy Hour from 5-7

Excellent hotel, with great amenities. Easy walk to central, albeit you need to be quite fit to walk up and down the hill. Taxis are cheap however, so no issues accessing this excellent hotel with wonderful views across the park and city.

Nice time at the garden view hong kong hotel It is true that it could be complicated to reach it but bus 12A drop right un front of the hotel from admiral station. And to take the bus just locate HK zoo bus stop. Really close to the Peak tramway (10 min max). Overall was really nice. Fast elevator. Clean fitness room. Spacious room. Great deal

I love this hotel. It’s very clean and classy. Its current restaurant is being renovated but the restaurant next store (Cafe 8) has a beautiful skyline view of Hong Kong with a good menu variety and 2 for 1 happy hour. However, it’s not near any walkable shops or dining. Still, cab ride one way range from $4 to $6 to the downtown area and there’s a taxi every few minutes available all over the city. From the airport, take AirPort Express Train and get off at Hong Kong Central from there there’s an easy taxi service to the hotel. Train is $12 and taxi price depends on how many suitcases. Likely under $10 to the hotel. Taxi from the airport is very expensive ($50 -$70) Now I don’t know if the cab charges per person… Garden View is still a wonderful option. And you can walk to the downtown area. It’s easy because it’s down hill but I strongly suggest take a taxi ride back up. Also, the Peak Tram attraction (a must do in HK) is 10-12 minutes walk from the hotel.

Safe and quiet neighborhood. Park is beside the hotel, good for walk. Public transportation is not as convenient. The front desk staff are great. Housekeeping was okay; towels changed and garbage removed. But bedding was not changed or made.

Staff were great and helped with everything we needed! Room was very clean and we had an amazing view! Had all the amenities we needed and was very easy to find. The only downside was the mattresses, they were very hard and quite uncomfortable for someone who likes to sleep on soft memory foam.

I like the location because it was easy to go anywhere. It was very quiet. Staff was friendly. House keeping needs to improve. Cups were not cleaned or changed. Tea bags were not replaced. Sink counter was not cleaned.

I don’t recommend this place at all. My room was filthy and they only provide towel service. Every morning I woke up because my throat hurt. The smoke from other rooms travelled to my room. I am back in my country and my throat and lungs hurt so much and I can't stop coughing and coughing up sputum!!!

週末の旅行で２泊、利用しました。到着が深夜０時ごろだったのですが、チェックイン時のフロントの方の対応がよく、手続きもスムーズで好印象でした。同じビル内には２２時までやっているスーパーもあるため、ちょっとした買い物にも困りませんでした。 室内、共用部ともに清潔で清掃が行き届いており、気持ちよく過ごせました。部屋からの眺望もなかなか良かったです。 Airport Expressの停まる香港駅から歩けなくはないですが、坂道が多く夏場はかなり厳しいかと思うのでタクシーの利用がおすすめです。（８００円くらいでした）

Been staying there for several years now. No-frills but clean, comfortable hotel close to CBD. On my last trip though there was some renovation work going on and the drilling noise made the stay a bit unpleasant. They could have avoided allocating those rooms close to the renovation.

Good sized room (1504) for HK. Quiet, spotless and cleaned daily. Bath and shower. Firm bed like most in HK but a mattress topper was quickly provided. Helpful and courteous staff. Very fast Housekeeping response for iron and board plus minor sink plug issue. Fridge, safe, kettle, toiletries. Good lifts. Well served by taxis, good 12a bus service for downtown and supermarket nearby. Free Zoological & Botanical garden a few mins walk away.

Great view and adequate space at an affordable price! Everything was great with just two little things: The duvet wasn't warm for a cold night where temperature dropped dramatically and the pillows were not super soft like regulars one from the hotel. Super hot water from the tap kept running all night long. Indeed everyone was different so just our personal experience to share. Thank you.

Having found the male receptionist rather terse upon check-in, my mood was further clouded when I got to the room and the keycard wouldn't let me in. Tired, hungry and wet (having been caught in rain) I had to go back to reception with my bags to get a new key. A female receptionist at least had the decency to apologise and give me a key that did work! On another matter, surprised to see bottled water in the room charged at HKD12 per bottle. No complimentary water is, in my experience, unusual.

I found this hotel on the day due to a sudden change of my itinerary. Because the hotel is located on the hill, it would be better to access from the Central station by car. I walked there from nearby restaurant. The most splendid was reception staff members. They are not only kind but attentive and responsible. I was going to the Hong Kong station early morning by taxi to take the earliest Airport Express. They gave me good advice and arranged everything for me who is not familiar with things in Hong Kong. The receptionist for my check in and check out were different but they appropriately took over necessary information to provide me a go service. On the next morning, with heavy rain, of course I was successfully took the right train, but further, a receptionist saw me off to the taxi, putting up an umbrella for me. The room was clean and boast of a good view.

I love this hotel. It’s very clean and classy. Its current restaurant is being renovated but the restaurant next store (Cafe 8) has a beautiful skyline view of Hong Kong with a good menu variety and 2 for 1 happy hour. However, it’s not near any walkable shops or dining. Still, cab ride one way range from $4 to $6 to the downtown area and there’s a taxi every few minutes available all over the city. From the airport, take AirPort Express Train and get off at Hong Kong Central from there there’s an easy taxi service to the hotel. Train is $12 and taxi price depends on how many suitcases. Likely under $10 to the hotel. Taxi from the airport is very expensive ($50 -$70) Now I don’t know if the cab charges per person… Garden View is still a wonderful option. And you can walk to the downtown area. It’s easy because it’s down hill but I strongly suggest take a taxi ride back up. We were staying only one night which is unfortunate because they upgraded us to a 1 bedroom suite on the 18th floor for no charge (elevators are a bit slow). The room was well appointed though a bit dated in terms of bathroom facilities - everything was in working order just a bit past its prime. Very spacious room and nice view of the botanical zoo. We checked in late and unfortunately missed the cut off time (10:30?) for on-site breakfast and had to go nextdoor for a pricier meal

Service staff at front desk were very helpful. As this is a 3 star hotel, can't expect much. Moving around is generally convenient with 12A bus service to nearest MTR (Admiralty) train station, which is about 10min ride. Bus comes every 15 mins. A quiet residential area. This hotel was in a nice area next to animals and botanic garden. Very useful supermarket next door and breakfasts good in adjoining property. Let’s start by saying the location is good! Staff friendly. The bad. Room is dated. The room I had smelled really bad! Told staff three times nothing changed! Next the bed was hard as a rock! I love a soft bed! So not good for me. And lastly you can hear all the car nosies outside the hotel! So not much sleep
