I’d definitely stay at this hotel again! Hotel shuttle bus available to and from Tsim Sha Tsui until 6 pm. You can also catch many buses on the main road which is about 10 mins walk. Nice swimming pool and Gym. Staff were friendly and helpful.

This was the most disgusting hotel we stayed at in Asia across 3 months. On our first day we discovered a huge clump of hair/pubic hair in the bath which was not draining, and they moved us to a different room. On our last day as we checked the room we found a used condom underneath the bed, which I actually touched. This is a huge health risk due to bodily fluids and infection risk, and will be reported to the relevant authorities. The hotel tried to deal with this with an apology only and a free one night stay, despite the fact we were checking out and told them right away that we will not return, which is an insult. Only Expedia managed to get us some money back. Never again. We also found some of the staff very rude. The lifeguard shouted at a woman one day as she tried to avoid the ridiculously designed waterfall above the entry to the pool area. The staff member Phoebe on reception was also incredibly patronising, sarcastic and rude to me when I spoke to her one day, although when she found out I was a hotel guest she changed her attitude but the damage was already done. We were in a studio room which is advertised with kitchen facilities, however there was not one cooking utensil, pan, plate or anything, which defeats the point. The only staff member we thought was helpful was the assistant manager at reception, who tried her best but was let down by other staff. Location is bad. It’s a residential area which is a 10 min walk to the nearest train station.

Staff were very friendly and the free shuttle service was convenient. However, cleanliness was disappointing — there were a bunch of hairs on the towel, all the cups were dirty, and the kettle felt greasy. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Size of the room is exaggerated, not so big at 280 sq. ft. as described. The decoration is dated, shabby and coarsely made at cheap quality. The reception lobby is far too small. It is located at an old area in front of a market & industrial buildings. Not compatible as a so called 4 star hotel rating.

Excelkent staff, room was clean and relatively spacious, view of pool and gardens was nice. This isn't downtown Hong Kong, but it is much more relaxing. About three blocks walk to the MTR metro station that can get you anyolace in Hong Kong including the airport. Plenty of restaurants around. Close the the Cattle Depot Artists collectice which I really enjoyed. Right next to the Kai Tak Sports complex if thats your thing. Would definitely stay there again!

Overall ok, but 2 things: wifi and cleaner. The wifi was very bad. This definitely need improvements. YouTube can stop for a good 5 minutes to load in between clips. Then cleaners, some room cleaners are super considerate, but I met one who came to exchange a duvet for us because our young child was sick and she puked on it. She brought a smaller size duvet for a King size bed, which was fine, but she was like, "I cannot go back to get you the right size duvet because I need to get off work." I mean I respect everyone needs to have a life but she didn\'t have to make it like it\'s my problem! I cannot use a double size duvet on a king size bed for me, my husband and my daughter! And on the second last day of my stay, whoever the cleaner was, he/she didn\'t even finish the job before leaving. The facial tissue box was left opened sideways for some reason and wasn\'t in the tissue box case. What I like was, the front door personnel were great. They literally ran to help us with baby stroller and shopping bags when they saw us getting off the taxi cap.

Great and prompt service. Convenient with bus stop to main tourist sites just downstairs. Walkable to mtr station. Local restaurants nearby and Kai Tak shopping mall just 10mins walk away. Will definitely stay here again when we're back.

He's thoughtful and helpful, especially when he shares useful transportation tips for our plans tomorrow, making us feel well taken care of. The check-in process was slow (like YouTubers commented 4 years ago). I arrived at 3pm sharp but the room wasn't ready at all... and I had to wait for an hour to get my hotel keycard. Also, the hotel charged me HKD2 more for HAT. The staff explained that it was Hotels.com's fault after review. Room cleaniness wasn't up to standard (this is a 4-star hotel..) Free upgrade was mainly served for Mainland China visitors as we could get the reward only if we joined their membership via WeChat. This was totally unfair for foreigners as they seemingly had special privilege/service. Overall, the hotel was not recommended.

Bell boy was great. Apart from that all other concierge / front desk shows zero willing to help or assist. Absolute worst service experience from all the hotels I have stayed. Even Lowe stars rating hotels have much better level of service. Asked for luggage trolley they said no despite the fact they had 3 sitting at the lobby. Asked them to assist to book for a 7 seater to Discovery Bay they said no and asked us to get 2 taxi. The list goes on

Your staff was fairly unhelpful. I asked for an iron and ironing board and they didn’t deliver it. I asked help to get a taxi and they couldn’t help. I asked help once I found a taxi for them to Translate, where I wanted to go and they couldn’t tell. I asked for help to fly down to Taxi early in the morning and they didn’t help. The room was not that clean.

The location of this hotel is formerly an industrial area, and not in a transportation hub. I stayed twice in this hotel. The reason to return to this hotel is affordabily and comfort, though in this area travellers may find 2 & more other hotels not as big as the '8 Degree'. But direct from the Hong Kong International Airport, opt for the Bus Route A22 to get to this hotel. The nearest MTR station is Sung Wong Toi Station. This hotel has hourly shuttle bus to Middle Road of Tsim Sha Tsui, or West Kowloon MTR station. Shuttle bus operate in day time only. Some good restaurants are nearly but the hotel itself offer quite many better dining options.Room attendants frequently tidy up rooms.

很好的酒店，早餐很棒也比较值，晚餐也很好。餐厅的问题是空调开得太冷，坐着不久就流鼻涕那种，孩子吃晚餐，没多久就上楼了。房间小，单人床窄，但是舒适度还可以，可能有点非常小的虫子。

This is not the fanciest hotel, but the food were very good at the buffet also the service from the workers was exceptional. There’s also a navette service to drop you downtown every hour which was very convenient. The hotel was overall good quality price and the bedroom clean

Rooms were clean, staff was friendly and helpful. Didn't indulge in the pool so I cannot speak to that. The one thing that I didn't like was the breakfast. Most hotels offer complimentary breakfast, and HP 8 degrees had an attached cafe where breakfast was discounted for guests, but not complimentary.
