This hotel was absolutely lovely. The staff were helpful and professional. The location was perfect and easily accessible to trains and activities. There is a great restaurant with common comfort foods attached to the hotel. I look forward to visiting Interlaken and staying at this hotel again.

Great location - excellent staff

Room was lovely and clean, very spacious and well located for Interlaken ost train station We stayed when it was over 30 degrees for our stay and struggled as the hotel has no air con. We were on the 4th floor and had a room with stairs to an upper sleeping area. There were hardly any windows to open overnight to let the hot air out, some only opened a tiny bit, and not all had curtains, even in the sleeping areas. It was almost distressingly too hot and even after a cold shower; the bathroom felt like a sauna as only one window could open just a bit with no extractor fan The stairs up to the sleeping area are also a death trap. The stairs are too narrow and must be taken incredibly slowly, luckily we didn’t need to get up in the night else it would have been very dangerous Breakfast had a fairly good selection, we ordered a breakfast to go option as we were leaving early one day. We were given lots of delicious food and drinks which was perfect; however we had to collect them the night before and only had a beverage cooler style fridge to store them in which wasn’t cold enough. In the morning the ham sandwich did not feel cold and we didn’t want to risk food poisoning from it being stored at the wrong temperature. Should have an option to collect in the morning from a fridge in reception or just have food and fruit which is safe at room temperature. The swimming pond was full of algae and slimy. Was wonderfully cool water in the heat but felt dirty.

Reasonably good breakfast. Good location- 4 minutes away from Interlaken OST train station.
