We had a wonderful stay at GLK PREMIER Acropol Suites & Spa! We’re a family of four with older kids, and the room was spacious and comfortable for all of us. The sofa beds were just fine for our 5-night stay. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our visit. One pleasant surprise was that the hamam experience is included—we didn’t know beforehand, but they offer guests one hour per day to enjoy the sauna and traditional Turkish bath, which was such a relaxing bonus! The location couldn’t be better. The hotel is just a short walk from the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, the Basilica Cistern, and the Arasta Bazaar—a charming little market that’s easy to explore. Staying here was the best decision because we were able to walk everywhere without the stress of figuring out transportation. Breakfast was delicious every morning, with a great variety to start the day. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so enjoyable! We’d definitely recommend this hotel and would love to come back.

Stayed in a 2BR suite, very spacious, clean, rustic feel to the place. Turkish breakfast buffet was great every morning. Easy walk to almost all the attractions. Lots of restaurants nearby. Gym is basically non-functional, old machines that don't work. Staff was pleasant and always willing to help. Mustafa was the absolutely the best!! So warm and welcoming! Unrelated to property but don't waste time with cabs. Just take the time to learn the public transit system. Way cheaper, more reliable and you won't feel frustrated dealing with slimy hustler cabbies.

Staff are friendly, and the sauna was very nice. The sauna needs about 1.5 hours to heat up though, so you have to tell them in advance.

Beautiful staff, very very helpful. Downside of if this premises that it does not have parking, in a very congested area and no roads parking. However, staff have one parking space for them, they allowed us to use it during our stay, extra thanks to them. Otherwise, it's almost impossible to fund oarking in the area. Best hotel if you're there for fun and wLk atround the area and use public transportation.

What a way to finish off my travels. I arrived in Istanbul close to midnight and after an eventful car ride, I arrived at the hotel around 1.30am The reception were really nice and helped my get settled in. I was upgraded and OMG, the room was magnificent. I entered the room (bedroom, separate lounge, bathroom and balcony) The bathroom has an open shower and bathtub with spa jets. The balcony opened to the street below with views of the city around me. I got to bed at 2am and enjoyed the very comfortable bed. Breakfast was available each day and was very satisfying. The gym is good and the spa is very relaxing (but you need to give them 30min notice to get it prepared) The hotel is within walking distance of several mosques and the grand bazaar Staff are next level friendly I recommend this hotel for any one who want to relax and want to do self walking of Istanbul One last thing, I might consider using the hotel transfer service to guarantee fast and efficient connections but the price will need to come down

Helt okay hotell med bra läge! Mustafa är hotellets hustomte som fixar allt. Bastu och Haman som är gratis. Frukost som vanligt i Turkiet ganska tråkig och torr men det är det överallt.

Read the entire thing. The location is convenient, walkable to main mosques and cafes. Rooms are small and the lighting needs an update, can’t see anything in the rooms. Spa is nice, good sauna and steam room. Gym is super small with 3 treadmills and a couple of weights. Now, the hotel is located on the Main Street with trashy bars, loud music starts after 11 pm and lasts past 2 am. I asked if they can give us another room, the answer was NO. I haven’t slept for 3 night straight, what a great vacation right there. The hotel is outdated and old, but well maintained and personnel is sweet, rooms were always fixed and cleaned on the daily basis. We asked for a transfer to the airport in the morning with the price of $60. When it was a time to pay the manager claimed it’s 60 Euros and quoting “I don’t care what currency you use”, suddenly when they got all their money they became extremely unprofessional and rude. Suit yourself if you want to stay at a place like that. Personally for me - I wouldn’t recommend

Hotel is a little dated. Room was clean outside of the bathroom that had some mold around sides of tub etc. Outside of that it was clean and comfortable. I stayed in a room on the top floor with a view of water and away from the street noise(highly recommend). Service was over and above. Great location but be ready to turn down multiple restaraunts on your way in and out. Very close the main tourists sights though you'll likely be fed up with the crowds by the end.

Perfect place to stay if you want all major visitors sites close. We walked to all major attractions. If you need to use transportation, there is near by tram station that is well connected to metro, through funicular. Hotel is clean and staff and service great. Highly recommended

The best part of this hotel was the staff. I cant say enough. Everyone was absolutely perfect. Went above and beyond. Unfortunately. The hotel in my opinion was a little dated. It could have been cleaned a little bit better.

Our room was 5th floor. Top. Views to Hagia Sofia. Spacious. Very clean. Staff were very professional, helpful, friendly and went out of their way whenever we had any requirements or requests. We are very pleased and would go back.

Good location in old city 5 min walk tourist sites. Old world charm with ok breakfast. Shower with water pressure that would please Trump! Walls paper thin, when the next room takes a shower @ 7am that's your alarm clock. When booking it listed 20% off at restaurant...that no longer exist, Web site needs updating. Lots of other places to eat steps away. Loved Istanbul but the food is very pricey.

This is an excellent hotel, with a location full of pluses and minuses. We had the good fortune to stay on the top floor with a balcony, and had a breathtaking view of the Hagia Sophia, and the minarets of the Blue Mosque. It was exactly between the two in terms of Hearing the call to prayer, and these two mosques go back and forth in a memory we will have forever. A short, slightly uphill walk puts you at the centre of old Istanbul. Early in the morning will put you first in line with little effort. Close to the tram line if that’s what you’re doing, which gets you to the ferries. The down side is that you will have to run a gauntlet of restaurants who want your business very much, and very friendly carpet-sellers who will want your time and money. Quality of both varies from the reasonable to the terrible, with not much to help you choose between them but giving them a go. Do so at your risk. Prices are high, especially on the drink, but you are in the middle of where tourists want to be. In my view, this was the nicest hotel in this little area other than the 4 Seasons at almost 10 times the price. The staff are great, the place is clean, it’s a little older. The a/c works pretty good. And it’s position is unique for hitting all those boxes.

Hotel is close to all the action on pub Row right near hagia sofia. It was quite noisy in the evening.Hearing music coming in from outside until 3am. Great location to walk to old town historic sites. Rooms were very small but did have a great view. Breakfast and restaurant were not great and would not recommend paying extra for.

Lovely room. Wonderful staff the only negative was that the the walls must be very thin as it was very noisy from beside and above the room.

We had a wonderful stay at GLK PREMIER Acropol Suites & Spa! We’re a family of four with older kids, and the room was spacious and comfortable for all of us. The sofa beds were just fine for our 5-night stay. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our visit. One pleasant surprise was that the hamam experience is included—we didn’t know beforehand, but they offer guests one hour per day to enjoy the sauna and traditional Turkish bath, which was such a relaxing bonus! The location couldn’t be better. The hotel is just a short walk from the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, the Basilica Cistern, and the Arasta Bazaar—a charming little market that’s easy to explore. Staying here was the best decision because we were able to walk everywhere without the stress of figuring out transportation. Breakfast was delicious every morning, with a great variety to start the day. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so enjoyable! We’d definitely recommend this hotel and would love to come back.

The room I paid for wasn't available until two days later and I had to ask for it. The tub leaked and it was extremely noisy until 3:30am. I asked to check out early and that was refused. I got offers of lower priced trips to the airport instead. The finally offered a credit of 1 day when I was leaving two days early after multiple days of not being able to use the tub/shower without the room flooding. That was then later revoked saying that it was too difficult to credit me and I settled for a credit for an earlier ride to the airport which was less than the equivalent of one night. The people were nice and friendly but the customer service was extremely poor considering the circumstances. I regret having you leave this review but was given little choice.

It was a beautiful stay and smooth check in and check out! Just few minutes walk to main locations. Easy access to transportation if needed. And the Manager Poyraz was extremely helpful and gave this sweet farewell gift! Would highly recommend it!

We loved this hotel and the view of the Hagia Sophia from our balcony. It’s located on a street full of bars and restaurants. The staff were super welcoming and nice, we arrived on an early morning flight and they let us check in at 8:30am. We would love to come back!

Staff very friendly and caring I was losing my voice after traveling from other country , Kenan & Emre also Mustafa make some kind of drink to make sure I am comfortable with my voice , Apo very professional he is kindly upgraded our room to next level without any cost , Yesim also very friendly overall staff very helpful and very friendly yet respectful. Emre show us where to go for dinner he walk with us to the restaurant, Kenan organized driver to pick and drop us for shopping , 5 star service . Thank you for all kindness.

The staff was very helpful, I needed directions almost everytime I left the hotel the first desk would always draw me a map. The area is walkable to almost everywhere you would want to go. I was a solo traveler female and felt very safe at this hotel

One star is far too generous for GLK Premier Acropol Suites & Spa. Our stay was a complete disaster from start to finish. The hotel is nothing like the glossy photos online. The advertised "suites" were cramped, poorly maintained, and lacked basic amenities. Most egregious was the complete lack of WiFi in our room. After reporting the issue, we waited over an hour for staff who were utterly unhelpful and unable to resolve the problem. Good location in old city 5 min walk tourist sites. Old world charm with ok breakfast. Shower with water pressure that would please Trump! Walls paper thin, when the next room takes a shower @ 7am that's your alarm clock. When booking it listed 20% off at restaurant...that no longer exist, Web site needs updating. Lots of other places to eat steps away. Loved Istanbul but the food is very pricey.

We have stayed here before 11 years ago. Hotel is in a fantastic location in the old town close to Blue Mosque and Haggia Sofia. Lots of restaurants in the street. Hotel has a lift. Clean and comfortable. We are at nearby cafe for breakfast. Staff friendly and helpful.

This is an excellent hotel, with a location full of pluses and minuses. We had the good fortune to stay on the top floor with a balcony, and had a breathtaking view of the Hagia Sophia, and the minarets of the Blue Mosque. It was exactly between the two in terms of Hearing the call to prayer, and these two mosques go back and forth in a memory we will have forever. A short, slightly uphill walk puts you at the centre of old Istanbul. Early in the morning will put you first in line with little effort. Close to the tram line if that’s what you’re doing, which gets you to the ferries. The down side is that you will have to run a gauntlet of restaurants who want your business very much, and very friendly carpet-sellers who will want your time and money. Quality of both varies from the reasonable to the terrible, with not much to help you choose between them but giving them a go. Do so at your risk. Prices are high, especially on the drink, but you are in the middle of where tourists want to be. In my view, this was the nicest hotel in this little area other than the 4 Seasons at almost 10 times the price. The staff are great, the place is clean, it’s a little older. The a/c works pretty good. And it’s position is unique for hitting all those boxes.

Fantastic location! It is right in old town, short walk to major sites, lots of good restaurants nearby, safe neighborhood. It is a busy street so expect delays in getting a taxi and traffic (tons of massive tour buses loading/unloading). The staff are very friendly, with the exception of one that was not helpful. The bed was comfortable and the room size ok. It was clean, but the hotel is older so there were issues with a leaky shower and air con not working. We were in an executive room with balcony and we loved sitting out there with views of the Haggia Sofia and Blue Mosque. I would recommend this hotel.

Great location for walking to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia, Gulhane Park and Topkapi Palace. Very friendly and helpful staff, especially Mustafa, Emre and the young lady helping at the breakfast buffet. Only downside is the loud music from one of the bar/restaurants across the road which went on until 2am on a couple of nights.

Hotel is close to all the action on pub Row right near hagia sofia. It was quite noisy in the evening.Hearing music coming in from outside until 3am. Great location to walk to old town historic sites. Rooms were very small but did have a great view. Breakfast and restaurant were not great and would not recommend paying extra for.

The property is located in a very busy one way road so there was constantly traffic. Every night the bars had music on till 4am-5am in the morning so it was really hard to get any sleep. The breakfast is less than basic, we were charged for fried eggs at breakfast every morning.

Clean, safe and well-managed hotel. Located in the "Old City" of Istanbul (Sultanahmet), the hotel is just minutes away by foot from Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Hippodrome and the Bosphorus Straight. Room was well-maintained with bath (including the jacuzzi bathtub). Air conditioning temp could be set by guests in the room. Breakfast hours were convenient and the array of items on the breakfast buffet was impressive. Staff was warm and accommodating, making us feel immediately welcome. Free sauna and steam bath within the premises. In the opinion of my family, there were no downsides to this hotel. Would certainly stay again.

We came from San Diego and stayed for nine days .The staff are awesome . Excellent customer service . Breakfast buffet was great with good options . The place is surrounded by awesome restaurants . Easy walk to the Blue mosque , grand bazar . I would highly recommend this place . You won’t regret . Over all , fantastic time saying here seeing Istanbul .

It is a nice little hotel. Our stay was comfortable, expect for a fact that bathtub was leaking even when you take shower and although we asked the staff to fix it, issue remained till the check-out.
