We recently stayed at the Seven Hills Hotel around 9/28/2024. Love the Hotel location. Walkable to Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Grand bazaar and other touristy destinations in Sultanahmet. We even got upgraded to the 4th floor with a view of the blue mosque and the Bosphorus. The Room was spacious and elegant, we loved it. Now here are some cons to note. The hotel is extremely popular for the Seven Hills restaurant on the top floor. Our room, although quiet at night, was loud from the crowd above for most of the day. The elevators are small and there are no distinctions between outside visitors and hotel guests, it gets crowded fast and with luggage, no bueno. The staff is super friendly and helpful, but there is really no lobby area. We were confused when we arrived, it's just the desk for the concierge, outside a carpet store. Yes I recommend staying at this hotel, if the sole purpose is to visit Sultanahmet area. No if you wish a tranquil stay, away from the hustle and bustle of Istanbul. I cannot take away from the staff working hard for guests. But management really need to revamp the chaos in the lobby to a more refine 4 stars hotel.

Seven Hills Hotel delivers one of the most iconic experiences in Istanbul. The rooftop offers absolutely breathtaking views of the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia — an unmissable spot for photos, whether you're staying there or just stopping by. Service is top-notch. The staff are genuinely friendly, and the rooftop restaurant team, especially the waitresses, go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Meals are very reasonably priced, and the included Turkish breakfast is enormous and authentically prepared. I arrived early, and while my room wasn’t ready, Fatma and the front desk team worked hard to accommodate me. When the check-in took longer than expected, they generously upgraded me to their top suite — complete with Hagia Sophia views and an in-room spa. It was a perfect gesture and made my stay unforgettable. Highly recommended. Would return without hesitation.

The property is under renovations and workers worked later than usual due to weather. They have two elevators and one was not functioning for Most of our visit. Also, the property is in close proximity to several mosques which do five prayers a day and this is broadcast to the streets. It was a lovely experience but for some this may not be suitable .

The hotel is in the perfect location to see everything within the heart of Istanbul, and the view from the rooftop restaurant is beyond incredible! All the hotel staff were also very friendly and were even able to arrange private tours and transportation around Istanbul.

Clean room and staff very nice. Room a bit rundown.The Rooftop was a mess! Seagulls flying all over and dropping poop on our table and food! Disgusting! Service was not good. Never went back. Over priced too! And loads of tourists coming and going which caused the elevators to be unavailable for guests.

Seven Hills Hotel is in an excellent location with easy access to major attractions. The rooms are well kept and the housekeeping team does a great job. The only minor downside was that the drainage in my room was not working perfectly, though I did not request any repair or room change during my stay. This property is in the old part of the town right beside the Hagia Sophia. The front desk was awesome and very kind. I booked my own private shuttle from the airport 80 euro roundtrip from ISL. As an Expedia gold member I did not get a room upgrade. Room was on the small side but the bed was comfy. I did have a small balcony facing the opposite side of the mosque. Breakfast: So breakfast is served from 8:00AM to 11AM which it later that what I am use to. I was hoping to eat earlier to be at the sites by 7:30AM. The breakfast did come with my room so I did wait and ate it each morning and wow was it worth it. The breakfast is huge and delicious. Hotel Restaurant: The Restaurant has an awesome view and I got some really good pictures up there. It can be on the pricey side but it was good and the service was awesome! The only problem I had was my bathroom faucet was leaking water and could not get it to stop. Could hear it all night. Also the shower tile was pretty moldy. Wasn't sure if I got a bad room due to being a solo traveler but everything else at the hotel was good and very friendly.

Me and my dad recently stayed here for 2 nights. The area is amazing and close walk to main attractions. Perfect if you don’t plan on taking taxi or ubering everywhere. The staff was very kind everyone was very friendly and helpful they do try to upsell on some tourist packages but other than that they are kind and helpful!! The free breakfast was great and a lot of food had a beautiful view. The room was very old looking there was black mold in the washroom on the sink but other than that it was very clean

excellent hotel with 2 minute walking distance to Hagia sophia and blue mosque and 4 minutes walking to T1 tram station.Hotel staff excellent especially Fatima who guided us regarding the map and also suggested bosphorous cruise by bus and boat which was excellent. Sinaan and Khalid were a great help and always smiling and ready to help. Only bad part was non stop noise pollution from many sea gulls at night time around the hotel and can disturb your sleep considering its so near the water.

The location was great and staff very friendly. But that’s about it. The room looked nothing like the pictures. The bathroom had barely any lighting and we had to keep the bathroom door open to the main room to be able to see. The room was very very old. Very tiny. The window led to an alley/another building so no natural lighting. And the rooms lighting was this yellow old lighting with few lightbulbs. Seriously thought I was in a dungeon. The rooftop restaurant may be huge for some people, but the room was definitely not worth it for myself

The Seven HIlls hotel was the best place to stay for us, it was exactly where we wanted to be which allowed us to walk to most of the attractions. Seeing the Higa Sofia and Blue Mosque out of our window or from the rooftop terrace was amazing. The room was spacious and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay but the entire staff and especially, Ozan, Fatma and Jozan were beyond special. We spent 10 wonderful days at the hotel and could not have had a better experience because of the staff, they were so accomodating and freindly. Always there to greet you and assist with any questions or requests. They made our stay worth going back to just see them. The hotel is close to all of the attractions in the "old town" and you can catch the tram to anywhere else in the city you may want to explore. I highly suggest getting the breakfast option with a room, the traditional Turkish breakfast (for 2) is not only amazing but it's enough to feed a small family so you will not need to eat lunch. This was my second time in Istanbul, the other was 40 years ago so the change was surprising and all for the good, it's still one of the busiet cities I've been to but safe and the people could not have been more charming from the merchants to the daily commuters. Put it on the bucket list if you have not and if you stay in Instanbul the Seven Hills hotel is where you want to be.

We had a great experience staying at this hotel. The location was quite convenient as the tourist sites were literally a 5 min walk away. The service was also amazing. Also they have an amazing Turkish breakfast on the rooftop. However the room had one thing missing that I didn’t expect. There was no air conditioning. There was a heater however. We struggled trying to keep the room at an ideal temperature.

Staff were super helpful and the location is incredible. We had issues with our rooms, first one they gave us had drain issues so we declined as smell was awful, second room had a large generator outside the window and after one night of zero sleep they moved us and third room was perfect. They were happy to move us and it wasn’t an issue but I feel like the room that smelt of human waste should have been taken out of service until it was resolved. The one with the generator outside I guess they can’t do much about. So overall staff are friendly and helpful, rooftop restaurant is very good, rooms are clean and location is amazing. Avoid rooms 1001, 1002 and 1003.

From the moment I booked Seven Hills I knew I had made the right decision. Upon booking, I promptly received an e-mail to thank me for choosing Seven Hills, they stayed in contact with me with different services they offered. With very little notice on my part, Ismail arranged an airport transport to the hotel. We were offered a free upgrade to my room and offered us a lovely breakfast with outstanding views. Fatima, Otan and Sinan made sure our EVERY need was taken care of throughout our stay. Thank you Seven Hills for making us feel like we were home. Istanbul was absolutely amazing too, the culture, the people, the history will always have a piece of my heart. I will be back :).

All shoppings are a walking distance. Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia etc.. Most of the restaurants have a rooftop dinner area where you can have your dinner with the beautiful Bosphorus view right in front you. The staff hotel treats you like a family. We left missing them.

The staffs were very friendly and jovial (Kadir and Fatima). They were ready to help even before you ask. The location of the hotel is great as everything is within a walkable distance. Hotel is located super close to all the main attractions in Sultanahmet which is ideal for 1st time visitors to the city. On the whole our room was clean however some maintenance is required in the bathroom stall as the fixtures were not affixed to the wall properly (also no instructions as to how to operate the system) the bathroom sink had some damage that seemed to have been repaired recently but you could still see a gap around the washbasin where this was not fixed properly and if not careful your clothing would get caught and can be damaged. At night the room would get quite warm and the ac seemed temperamental and would work sometimes and on others it would pump out warm air instead of cold (we reported this to the concierge halfway through our stay and it was fixed whilst we were out for the day). This hotel was chosen following a previous stay in the city and we had admired the appearance/view which did not disappoint. Prices to dine at other rooftop restaurants are similar however the one at this hotel offers the safest (some others don't have railings to prevent slips/falls), cleanest and tastiest experience.

Seven Hills was in a great location, close to several tourist sports and also close to T1 tram line. Staff were very friendly and attentive. We had an incident in the room when shower door jammed and shattered and the staff responded really well and helped us move to another room. Overall, a lovely stay in a great location

This is an excellent property only a few minutes from the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofia. The rooftop view is breath taking. Visitors would come to the hotel just for the view. The large breakfast means you don't need to eat for the rest of the day, but to be honest, got a little tiring after the first few days as the variety did of food did not change. The staff was extremely helpful. The rooms were spacious and overall the property was extremely well maintained

Very warm and friendly welcome on arrival, and met by Ozzie on reception with a welcome drink. He explained about breakfast, offered trips and we were then shown to our amazing room. Great view from balcony, spotlessly clean and fresh bottled water every day. Breakfast was absolutely fantastic. So much food and lots of choice - we certainly didn’t need lunch after the huge breakfast. Fantastic rooftop terrace and restaurant with excellent views all around. Staff all very friendly and attentive and couldn’t fault anything.

レストランの眺望は期待通りに素晴らしかったです。朝食はがっかりでした。量だけで質が伴っていなかったです。部屋の冷蔵庫が全く冷えず常温でした。トルコならではと思って諦めていましたが、二日目にスタッフに言った所すぐに取り替えてくれて冷えるようになりました。お部屋は古さは否めませんが、広くて使いやすかったです。アナソフィアとブルーモスクの美しさをを朝昼晩と堪能できる立地です。

Clean room and staff very nice. Room a bit rundown.The Rooftop was a mess! Seagulls flying all over and dropping poop on our table and food! Disgusting! Service was not good. Never went back. Over priced too! And loads of tourists coming and going which caused the elevators to be unavailable for guests.

The location was the best and the view from the rooftp outstanding. All the staff were very friendly. The price for the room was appropriate, but the restaurant was noisy and overpriced.
