B&B Hotel Pescara

We were very disappointed by the room not being prepared at arrival. We asked for a high floor, we got low. We called 3 times to make sure l to have 2 separate beds ready We had to make the bed at night upon arrival. The staff are unhappy to work and will say no to everything you ask. You feel like running away. There are many things not working in the rooms and parts missing. The hotel is very basic and needs refurbishment. No there is big construction site right bext to it so noise at 7 in the morning. Impossible to sleep. We don't recommend this hotel at all. Price/quality ration cannot be worse frankly.

It was a perfect location for walking around and heading to the beach.

Unable to participate in breakfast, as we had an early flight out. A/C worked well, our room was good. Our Balcony was in need of paint. Aurora checked us in, great employee, retain and promote. She managed to secure a taxi, when all the taxi’s in Pescara could not be reached by phone.

Room and property is clean. Bed is horrible. Room AC doesn't work and room is way too hot. When you open window, emergency stairs RIGHT NEXT TO IT which makes intruder easily come in. Noise outside is very loud. Wall is too thin you can hear water flushing from next room or water piling up in the toilet very easily. Window doesn't have any screen. Staff got better towards our end of stay but hotel should've notified us of city wide water shut down ahead of time especially announcement was done 2+ weeks before our arrival. (To give us a choice to go somewhere else due to no water) We couldn't shower 2 days. First day, they we need to buy water from then to brush teeth 🙄 amenities: they sell EVERYTHING. and they close by. 23:00 so if you needed anything you are screwed.

We’ve stayed here before and loved it. The room was clean and the staff at the time were kind. We enjoyed breakfast. There were also Gluten Free options and that was fantastic for our family. This past weekend was the worst experience we have ever had at a hotel - ever. And I won’t be back. We booked two rooms (family of 6) and paid for breakfast. We showed up to check in around 2-2:30PM (we live in another town so it took us a few hours to train down to Pescara.) The lady at the front desk would not take my Italian issued ID. My husband and I are both permanent legal residents in Italy. He is an EU citizen (Netherlands) but has an Italian ID card. I am not an EU citizen (American) and the lady at the desk refused to let me stay even though I have a legal government issued ID from Italy saying that I am a legal permanent resident in Italy. I’ve stayed at hotels with this ID before - all over Italy. Mainly because we are Italian residents (legally) with legal Italian IDs… and we’ve never had an issue. She refused to help us. We couldn’t train home and back to get passports - which we don’t need because we are legal Italian residents with the properly issued IDs - and get a train back to Pescara - there are no trains leaving that late from where we live. In short we were left hurt, disappointed and rudely spoken to- she was rude to our children. We had just enough time to grab some dinner and train home on the last train. If we didn’t get that train we would have had to … sleep
