Staff were wonderful and helpful. However, the building is dated and is in desperate need of renovation/updating. There was an unidentified smell in the hallways and the room itself. The bathroom had a smell of old wet towels left unattended for too long. (Actual towels were fresh and did not have that smell, but were extremely worn and frayed.)

Staff was incredibly nice, however the hotel was extremely dirty. First of all, the linen on the bed was too small and had stains all over it. My husband and I didn’t even go under the covers to be safe… Second, the robes were also old and stained all over. Some looked like blood stains… The towels also had stains, good thing we brought our personal towels. All the linen had such a weird smell, like they weren’t getting washed properly. The shower head was extremely dirty and I had to wipe it before using it, the shower curtain was ‘old’ and had clear bandaids covering any holes… the jets in the tub were extremely dirty also. There was still brown/white hair stuck to the walls of the shower also.. The elevator smelled like old oil/gas for a car.. We were only staying here for one night as we were just passing through. I definitely would not stay here again based on the facility and cleanliness. However the staff was extremely nice

Disappointing Experience I was very disappointed with my stay. The hotel was extremely overpriced considering its condition. The room was dirty, very old, and showed clear signs of water damage in the walls The flooring was also damaged, which added to the overall neglected feel of the place. It’s obvious that the hotel is not well-maintained, and the lack of care is reflected throughout the property. Given the high price, I expected much better. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Overall the room was clean, the beds were comfy, we liked that there was a fridge and a window that we could open to let in fresh air. The room was very dated, old carpeting and furnishings. I guess when you check in online the hotel clerk greeting you doesn't have to provide you with any information i.e. breakfast and where it will be located, dining in the area or where to park. We only stayed one night so it wasn't a huge disappointment but I don't know if we'll be back to stay again.

Great location - very walkable to most of the tourist spots. Room quite dated, well equipped overall but with some broken furniture. Friendly staff. Our last night there was a heavy metal band playing in the hotel (no prior warning of this anywhere). Our room was quite literally shaking from the music right up to 10pm - unacceptable with young children in a family room. Front desk weren't able to offer any solution other than that they would address it with the manager in the morning. We never heard anything since.

Smart TV, No channel guide or information on what you were watching basically NO INFORMATION.Front desk staff didn't seem to give a s**t. LOUD electrial HUMMM in room Gerage parking is tricky, old building, just be careful.. Room itself was good. Bed comfortable. Good food in SooBlaster and @ breakfast. MAJOR ISSUE WITH THE TV. Peak season Colors & Baseball, and no TV. Will not stay there gain.

There was no window except for a skylight. No AC and using the thermostat didn't seem to make a difference. We were on the first floor odd numbered room. I believe the even numbered rooms had windows. They should mention this on their website.

This is a very nice place to stay, especially if you want to take the Agawa Canyon Train Trip. It's very close. Parking is under the hotel but there is plenty of room to pull in between the concrete support beams. We've been in places where you could barely park between them. I recommend staying here. The staff are all very friendly.

Had no house-keeping; after 3 nights I requested: change the sheets & the towels, the sheets were not changed, we slept the 4th night in the same sheets, so we checked out and rented 4 more days from their competition down the same street

The room was clean and we didn't get a room with a view because there were none left. It was a convenient location and walking distance to the harbor locks tour. We rented bikes along the harbor because we missed the tour boat. We only stayed one night. My son was excited to go to the bar for a drink but there was hardly anyone there at six pm. He still enjoyed the stay.

This hotel is in a good location, close to the mall and the waterfront. It was nice to have indoor parking. Check-in was fast and friendly. The hotel itself is a bit dated and well-worn. The room was okay, but nothing special. It was clean, as was the bathroom. There was a good choice of pillows, but I didn't find the bed all that comfortable. The free breakfast was pretty basic, but adequate. The service was good. The hotel is connected to Soo Blaster where you can play arcade games and pool. There is a bar there as well. Overall, our stay was okay, though maybe not memorable.

The hotel was ok. clean, breakfast was satisfactory (it will get you started for the day) and the staff was friendly. the only negative is the area. the front towards the waterfront is great for walking around and exploring but behind the hotel, is a little sketchy (so dont go out after dark)

It was a great stay at the Days Inn! The hotel is downtown Sault Ste. Marie with easy access to the Canyon Tour train, canal historical site and a walk along the waterfront. It was also an easy 5 minute walk to Montana's for dinner. Underground parking was easy to access. We would definitely stay here again!

The one toaster that was available for all the guests to use in the morning didn’t work properly. Bread had to pass through it 3 times in order to get toasted. This delayed the process of getting food and caused delays.

We liked everything. The hotel was close to restaurants and there was a beautiful boardwalk by the river. Shopping mall was just across the street. The hot breakfast was nice which included sausages, bagels, pancakes, scrambled eggs and more. The staff were friendly and helpful.Cant find anything negative to say.

We did not realize the hotel was pet friendly. But seems they honor the specific rooms only because first question was if we had pets. This hotel is pretty run down. Although there’s a lot of amenities and close to a lot the boardwalk, casino and so on… our room was very dated with no view (rooftop view) jaccuzzi tub is very old so didn’t bother using it and the tapestry is falling apart. It smelled very musty and the air conditioning unit is very loud including the drain and a water noise from the bathroom that makes it very hard to sleep Love that the parking is in garage though. I don’t think we will stay there again. For the price I’m sure we can have a better room with nicer view and less noisy and smelly

Shower curtain wouldn’t stay closed because the rod was broken. Faucet had calcium buildup and sprayed water every direction but straight down, fan sounded like it was about to fall off the roof. Elevator was sketchy, it seemed fine going up, but rattled like crazy going down, also didn’t align with the floor when it opened. Only one usable outlet, the others were two prong only with no ground pin hole. Everything was clean at least and the AC worked great.
