Holiday Inn Express - Sault Ste. Marie by IHG

The breakfast was one of the best I’ve had in a hotel. What made it even better is how Mary helped my wife and myself get our breakfast together. We’re older and always appreciate it when someone can take the time to give us a hand.

This hotel is not in great shape. It needs a lot of updating. From both the outside appearance as well as the interior. The location is also not very appealing as the downtown is not in very good economic condition. Breakfast was good and had many choices and the breakfast area was clean and well attended by the staff.

Breakfast was wonderful, the rooms were clean and comfortable.

Room was very clean, bed was hard/old and uncomfortable though. Walls are paper thin & young hockey team was loud until 3:30am! Staff at check-in was unfriendly, (maybe just too new to the hospitality industry). Checkout staff was very cheerful & friendly We left before breakfast—it didn’t start until 7am! Will book elsewhere next time.

slept in a bed that had OLD SHEETS on it at Holiday Inn Express SSM Pulled the right side of the King Bed sheets off in morning looking for a sock to find dark hair (I'm blonde!!) and "sesame seeds" brought this to the staffs attention at the hotel He was not phased, one bit told me hed offer me 1000 pts for the "inconvenience" It is 15k for one night lol Got home to realize one of the pictures I took was not a sesame seed and a bug larvae...probably bed bugs I was offered a credit of 50 for the "inconveniece" and was scolded for not bringing the larvae to hotels.com's attention the day of in real time.....like is it normal to find used sheets and larvae in your bed.
