Hotel was poorly managed. Needs much repair and upkeep. Ceiling over pool falling in. Cement on balcony room 436, crumbling and falling. Only one electrical wall socket functioned. One of 2 elevators was functional. Was told the one elevator hadn't worked in 4 months. So waiting for the one elevator that did work was longer. Both ice machine and soda machines did not work. On 4th floor. Pool water very dirty. Hot tub heater working but not bubbles. Hot tub water dirty.

Previously stayed here when it was owned by Hilton. This is not! No sign to distinguish property. First room was disgusting, food under sofa cushions, sticky carpet, spill in the fridge and chirping smoke detector. Switched rooms to slightly cleaner, but thermostat was hanging off the wall with wires exposed, spider webs in bathroom corner, rooms were outdated and smelled like cigarette smoke and just unpleasant. There's a log for room moves - seems like a common issue. General areas felt deserted. Business center wasn't functioning. Staff was pleasant and tried to be helpful considering the property limitations.

We loved the atrium in the hotel. It was so open and airy! When we stayed here there was a snow storm outside so being in the atrium was no relaxing. The breakfast buffet had a lot of nice warm options and the coffee was really good. We had a nice dinner at the bar (Shout out to Evelyn and her daughter - great service and fun to chat with). I had a few small issues (I would still stay here again though). When we ordered our dinner, they didn't make us aware that they were out of one of the sides we were supposed to get and there was no substitution offered. It just wasn't there. In our room, a few of the light bulbs were burnt out. It was challenging to heat up the room but to be fair it was very cold outside. The pool area was a mess all the time. My husband is a bit OCD so he couldn't swim until he cleaned up all the garbage and towels that were strewn everywhere. The jacuzzi tub water looked dingy. The jets shoot straight up getting water everywhere. Not sure if that was intentional or not. Overall, we really did enjoy our stay. The glass elevators were also cool as well as the decor was really nice and modern. We would stay here again.

Beautiful hotel, very friendly and accomodating staff. unfortunately, there was only 1 working elevator and the hotel was sold out with 2 weddings in house which made getting to and from our 3 floor room very time consuming. Hot tub was hot but to bubbles. Hot buffet breakfast was a complete bust. They were unable to keep up supply and demand (again full hotel) we waited over 30 minutes standing in line and left without eating because our toddler aged grandson ran out of patience and was WAY overdue for breakfast.

Large room, friendly staff, great price. Dusty around all the plants in atrium, half the lights, lamps, and switches in room didn't work. Online pics of pool make it look triple the actual size, so that was disappointing. Overall, good value for an older place.

Great check in with Vickie. She gave me all the information on the amenities and gave me a room closest to the exit to accommodate my dog. Our room was nice and spacious, clean with a super comfortable bed. The only reason I rated good not excellent was that the room could use some updating. We enjoyed having a drink at the bar and good conversation with the bartender. We loved the pool and hot tub. Also the breakfast was good and had a lot of choices. We would stay there again.

I had asked for a manager to contact me about all of this but never received any response so I will leave the details here. I have stayed at this property before but this time was an absolute horror. I checked in late at night, I was very tired but when I got to my room, it was filthy. Somebody had blown their nose in the sink and there was snot strewn about the sink. It was so late at night that I just sent it up but I was gagging the whole time. The couch had brown stains like some pet had accidents on it, the cushions were sticking up and it wasn’t even usable. There were crumbs in my sheets, so clearly the sheets had not been changed. The breakfast at this hotel is not good, it’s just basically empty trays or a few items that were low stock constantly. The exterior is dirty and I had to call to see if they could get a large group to be quiet at 4 AM. 4 AM! There was a large cup of urine in the stairwell. The day of checkout, the front desk play it was extremely unpleasant. I am very disappointed, as a Hilton Honors member, I would have expected much better!

The rooms are VERY dated and while tidy, there are not clean. Stains on the carpet, terrible mattresses, the couch so nasty that I was afraid to sit on it. The bar and kitchen may or may not be open. Breakfast was the only thing consistent.

Barely any guests when we were there, only about five cars in the parking lot each day. Only one set of towels for two of us, bottle of bath soap in tub was empty. We gave a note to front desk for housekeeping to remedy but they did not . Didn’t even make the bed. We had to go to front desk to get more towels and soap. It didn’t appear that the public area floors were swept at all over the time of our stay.

The open space in the lobby was great and the indoor pool was fun for kids. The adjoining rooms we stayed in however were not so great. Room #1 had a large Red stain on the floor, muffins under the bed, the sofa bed would not pull out and the door to the refrigerator was broken. Room #2 had Feces on the wall in the bathroom and hard yellowish stains on the bed comforter. Housekeeping did not come to clean the rooms at all.

Oh nice hotel, located in a very safe area with an amazing free breakfast. We stayed in a one-bedroom suite that was very spacious and perfect for two friends. The only downside was that the room itself felt a bit dirty—not in a gross way, more like it hadn’t been used in a while. It was dusty, almost like it was holding onto dirt from the 90s, lol. That said, I’d probably stay here again. The area felt extremely safe, I didn’t see any bugs, and the staff was very friendly. My biggest complaint was that the bathroom could’ve been cleaned better.

The room was a 2 bedroom suite. The balcony door was broken, making it unsafe. The door between the two adjoining rooms was broken, and wouldn’t shut. The bathroom mirror was ripped off, and the shower was completely cold. I even called down, and she said it takes up to 30 MINUTES for it to get warm. There was one towel in a 2 bedroom SUITE. The floor was dirty, and the shower was not clean. Not worth the price, would not go back.

In my room, the box of Kleenex was empty The shower gel shampoo and conditioner was empty. The air conditioner in the room wasn’t getting a room cold enough and the condition of the furniture needs to be replaced. I stayed at this property before and it’s totally a big difference. I don’t know if it’s because of the name change but most definitely. I will not stay here again

Hotel lobby/atrium area are very cool, room was spacious and clean. However, the TVs in the room both started with static - no guide, or home menu, we thought they didn’t work. The tv in the bedroom area was very old and the remote wouldn’t work at all. Also, there was no wet bag or anything provided in the room, which is generally a nice touch. Breakfast was good.

Noone at the front desk for check-in and had to wait 15 minutes for someone to arrive. This is 5 PM which would be a busy check-in time. Bar had noone sitting at ut, I was the only customer. Drinks and food were terrible. Bartender on the phone talking through her ear piece most of the time. Hotel was virtually empty, I've never seen it this empty. Service was overall terrible.

Decent price. Nice room. Took forever for the water to heat up in the shower. Direction tv but no aps(Netflix etc) to use - no big deal just FYI since most hotels now have them. Staff…. Not so great. Friendly enough! And all smiles. Just not a lot of info given. I had to come back to desk to ask where my room was located.
Decent price. Nice room. Took forever for the water to heat up in the shower. Direction tv but no aps(Netflix etc) to use - no big deal just FYI since most hotels now have them. Staff…. Not so great. Friendly enough! And all smiles. Just not a lot of info given. I had to come back to desk to ask where my room was located.

Great check in with Vickie. She gave me all the information on the amenities and gave me a room closest to the exit to accommodate my dog. Our room was nice and spacious, clean with a super comfortable bed. The only reason I rated good not excellent was that the room could use some updating. We enjoyed having a drink at the bar and good conversation with the bartender. We loved the pool and hot tub. Also the breakfast was good and had a lot of choices. We would stay there again.

I love the continental breakfast that is served, but what I love is how I inadvertently scheduled a stay, but put it for the wrong date, as I was present trying to book a room and inadvertently scheduled the wrong date. When they were contacted by this third party, they cancelled, and returned my money back to the card. That was ADMIRABLE!!!

We passed drove extra 30mins past where we were metting at to come here. Upond arrival the pool amd hottub were closed and this is why we choose this place. The room we were on was right at level woth the industrial fans and it squeaked all night. The lady that checked as in was super rude and at check out it was no better.. i only stay at hilton and this was definitely not the norm. I was very disappointed with the price considering. The room smelled good but huge red stains all over carpets window shade had stick stuff all over them. Bathroom floor was disgusting.

Check i good, but not offered complimentary water bottles, probably due to hour of check in, but they did offer directions to grocery store. Big stain in bathroom on rug, carpet felt sticky( tacky). Thought our room was to have a balcony. No kleenex, but pretty box. No handtowel, and only 1 face cloth, no cups. We got everything resolve as the staff were fabulous. Lounge: well, they charge FAR TOO much for sub par wine. 21.00$ for a glass of Meiomi Not Cool. 12 to 13 is plenty, you can buy the bottle for 16.00 at Meijer. The happy hour is fun, especially the Special drink young lady. That drink should be offered everyday. Overall, great place to stay. Please fix elevator. ❤️ Omelet men, you are the best.

Hotel is located in a fairly quiet area.. Not a far drive from pine knob or great lakes crossing and at a much lower price per night than anything closer. Hotel itself is nice, could use some updating but the cleanliness was at a pretty low standard. Shower drain was clogged visibly with someone's hair prior to us. Sink drain was also clogged and took a long time to drain. Comforter was dirty and had cigarette/ash burn marks on it.. Stains on carpet throughout room. Some other non issue notables were the hot tub not functioning, as well as only one elevator working. Could be a very nice hotel if even just the level of cleanliness was held to a higher standard. Probably wouldn't stay again, the sonesta es next door was much nicer on our last trip to auburn hills and at a similar price point.

this hotel seemed like a hidden gem. We were impressed with what we got for the price and the daily breakfast really puts it above any other hotel. Lots of hot and cold items, individual milks, applesauce. Really great. Only drawback is our room was right across from the elevator, and we could hear it going at all hours.

We loved the atrium in the hotel. It was so open and airy! When we stayed here there was a snow storm outside so being in the atrium was no relaxing. The breakfast buffet had a lot of nice warm options and the coffee was really good. We had a nice dinner at the bar (Shout out to Evelyn and her daughter - great service and fun to chat with). I had a few small issues (I would still stay here again though). When we ordered our dinner, they didn't make us aware that they were out of one of the sides we were supposed to get and there was no substitution offered. It just wasn't there. In our room, a few of the light bulbs were burnt out. It was challenging to heat up the room but to be fair it was very cold outside. The pool area was a mess all the time. My husband is a bit OCD so he couldn't swim until he cleaned up all the garbage and towels that were strewn everywhere. The jacuzzi tub water looked dingy. The jets shoot straight up getting water everywhere. Not sure if that was intentional or not. Overall, we really did enjoy our stay. The glass elevators were also cool as well as the decor was really nice and modern. We would stay here again.

The Concierge was helpful, welcoming and friendly from the minute we walked in. The hotel has a beautiful layout. The breakfast spread one of the best I’ve ever had. We enjoyed the pool, gym and bar. We will definitely be back. Thank you for a wonderful visit.

Noone at the front desk for check-in and had to wait 15 minutes for someone to arrive. This is 5 PM which would be a busy check-in time. Bar had noone sitting at ut, I was the only customer. Drinks and food were terrible. Bartender on the phone talking through her ear piece most of the time. Hotel was virtually empty, I've never seen it this empty. Service was overall terrible.

The paint is peeling above the pool and there were only four chairs available for sitting when there were about 30 people in the pool and around it, the TV did not work in both of our rooms. We called to get service and no one ever came to either of our rooms. When I needed silverware for our delivery order, I called down and could not get through to dining services. The front desk transferred me twice and it just rang And no one ever picked up.

Lobby was very cool. Breakfast has a chef that makes omelets and so many fresh options!! Best complimentary breakfast I have ever seen. Rooms were outdated and would be nice if there were more elevators. Overall good.

The pool was closed (them having a pool was one of the reasons we chose them) The room was less then to be desired with wallpaper peeling off the walls and what looked like water damage to the middle of a wall with it caving in and deformed. The beds where not comfortable and if you sat on them the other side of the bed would go way up in the air the pull out sofa looked like it had not been cleaned in years covered in dirt and dust and old scratched off lotto tickets and then the balcony must not get cleaned as we found joints put out and left on the balcony

This hotel is much older and has not been updated. The staff was wonderful, but there were not enough of them for guests' needs. For a class reunion, there was only one bartender. Much later, more came. In the morning, one chef was unable to come, so breakfast was later. The food, however, was quite good for dinner and breakfast. We really liked that all rooms were suites with ample room and two tvs. All of the rooms in the suite could be closed off from the other rooms.
