We chose this hotel for its location to RAF Cosford. We loved the pool area and liked that you have to book so not overcrowded. We ate in the restaurant and our grandson ate free. The meal was reasonably priced and the food enjoyable. Breakfast was great and the staff very friendly and helpful. Apart from some renovations taking place that didn't really impact on our stay everything was great.

Very short walk into town, supermarket and pubs close by. On site restaurant was lovely, perfect service. Pool was clean and well maintained, as was the hot tub & sauna. Room was spacious and clean and all staff were really helpful and lovely. Big tv in the bar area showed live football matches without too much noise. Lovely stay, will definitely be staying again. Thank you

Lovely hotel modern clean rooms had all you need. Pool size and amenities were excellent staff all lovely easy check in and check out had dinner in the restaurant food was really nice great choice so many I would have had but only stayed one night and no room for pudding but the choice was excellent great breakfast and lovely staff all in all a great one night stay to visit family located close to shops and cinema etc which was ideal couldn’t fault anything we will stay again when we come to visit family hopefully for a little longer next time

Everything about this trip and this hotel was fantastic! The hotel, despite undergoing some renovations, was impeccable. Every single member of staff we engaged with provided the highest standard of customer service. The leisure facilities were spotlessly clean and well maintained. The booking system worked perfectly and the pool never felt overcrowded. The restaurant was incredibly good value for money and the standard of food was far beyond what you would expect from a hotel restaurant. The belly pork was one of the nicest, well balanced and impeccably cooked meals I have ever eaten. The facilities at the hotel were amazing, there were communal areas where there was colouring for children, books, board games and a football table. We could not fault it, and have already booked again.

Convenient to road system but unaffected by traffic noise. Free parking. Reception friendly and efficient. Lifts available. My room had 2 double beds which made the room seem cramped. The bed I used was comfortable. Ensuite bath with an over shower. I had to fix the shower curtain back on the track to avoid soaking the floor. Food good quality and reasonably priced.

Absolutely Fantastic! Breakfast was Good. The pool/gym/Sauna/steam room all great! Big screen telly in the bar, which we watched the footy in comfort. I love the fact there is a quality table football game in the bar, that is free. This kept my kids entertained. A well run Holiday inn!

The staff were all very friendly and the communal areas were bright and clean. The room was good although some scuff marks on the walls and wonky plug sockets. In one of the drawers there was a carrier bag and receipt from a previous guest and by the side of the desk was a little plastic jug, the type for filling an iron. Was disappointed to receive an email the day before travel saying they didnt have room service at present but you could book a table in the restaurant, that turned out to be fully booked. Had one problem with the bath which I reported to reception on my way out for the day and had been fixed upon my return. Would happily stay again.

The hotel rooms are old and dilapidated with plaster peeling off the walls and old fixtures and fittings. Our room was old and tired and definitely in need of modernisation. The bathroom was slightly better but a sink that leaked water everywhere and our air conditioning unit didn’t work. The beds were not the comfiest but ok and clean. The breakfast was ok but there were no vegetarian options on display or offered. I did ask if they had vegetarian sausages and they said they could make something but I’d have to wait (I had my breakfast by that time so left it). My family (not vegetarian) also had to wait for 15 minutes as they had run out of some hot breakfast items on the self serve and had to make more. They didn’t realise until they had run out that they should have started preparing more which was a little disappointing. The staff that we encountered were friendly and professional however. I wouldn’t return to this hotel unless there was no where else to stay in the area.

The room was not ideal when you have a dog. If you are offering dogs to stay, the room should be bigger. The beds were horrendous, the worse sleep I’ve ever had. Another thing I would suggest is trying to sound proof the rooms. We could hear full conversations at 3am from the corridor and the room next door The staff were as always amazing. And were very helpful with our dog and made a fuss of her.

We had a horrible night sleep due to the air conditioning not working and the family next door having a crying baby. My daughter was competing the next day for the English Gymnastics Championships so it was a really bad start for us. We were so tired the next day.

Lovely spa area and pool. Very clean. All staff really friendly and helpful. Lovely bar area and separated areas from watching sky sports, or not. Nice hotel and 12 mile circular route (walk or bike) was great. Only negative is the noise in the corridors and neighbouring rooms. Could fully hear the bbc news from next door and any noise from people in the corridors.

Arrived around 23:00 to be told that for some reason we had be allocated a double rather than the twin that I’d booked. The chap on reception was brilliant in sorting this out, in the end we ended up in the nearby International Hotel a short walk away. However we did have to return to the Holiday Inn for breakfast.

First time we have stayed in a Holiday inn ,I can honestly say the Telford Holiday Inn was beyond what I expected,the staff where excellent and friendly,had dinner in the restaurant, and a big shoutout for Sharon our waitress who made sure everything was ok,our food was excellent and service first class ,will definitely stay again

Super friendly and helpful staff throughout the hotel such a safe and comfortable place for me to stay as a single mum with my 8 year old. We were visiting family nearby. We loved the pool facilities really well organised and fair for guests to get a slot lovely changing facilities and clean towels provded and body wash in the showers which makes it even easier and ate brekafast which was delicious. The room was really spacious and had everything we needed. We had an evening meal in the bar there was a lovely atmosphere and service was excellent. Food came out quick and kids eat free which was amazing !! Cant wait to come back and stay again.

The staff was very friendly and SO accommodating with our big dog. We had a wonderful stay, so did our dog, with a very big park just next to the hotel it was brilliant. Definitely recommended.

Convenient to road system but unaffected by traffic noise. Free parking. Reception friendly and efficient. Lifts available. My room had 2 double beds which made the room seem cramped. The bed I used was comfortable. Ensuite bath with an over shower. I had to fix the shower curtain back on the track to avoid soaking the floor. Food good quality and reasonably priced.

We chose this hotel for its location to RAF Cosford. We loved the pool area and liked that you have to book so not overcrowded. We ate in the restaurant and our grandson ate free. The meal was reasonably priced and the food enjoyable. Breakfast was great and the staff very friendly and helpful. Apart from some renovations taking place that didn't really impact on our stay everything was great.

Very short walk into town, supermarket and pubs close by. On site restaurant was lovely, perfect service. Pool was clean and well maintained, as was the hot tub & sauna. Room was spacious and clean and all staff were really helpful and lovely. Big tv in the bar area showed live football matches without too much noise. Lovely stay, will definitely be staying again. Thank you

Lovely hotel modern clean rooms had all you need. Pool size and amenities were excellent staff all lovely easy check in and check out had dinner in the restaurant food was really nice great choice so many I would have had but only stayed one night and no room for pudding but the choice was excellent great breakfast and lovely staff all in all a great one night stay to visit family located close to shops and cinema etc which was ideal couldn’t fault anything we will stay again when we come to visit family hopefully for a little longer next time

Everything about this trip and this hotel was fantastic! The hotel, despite undergoing some renovations, was impeccable. Every single member of staff we engaged with provided the highest standard of customer service. The leisure facilities were spotlessly clean and well maintained. The booking system worked perfectly and the pool never felt overcrowded. The restaurant was incredibly good value for money and the standard of food was far beyond what you would expect from a hotel restaurant. The belly pork was one of the nicest, well balanced and impeccably cooked meals I have ever eaten. The facilities at the hotel were amazing, there were communal areas where there was colouring for children, books, board games and a football table. We could not fault it, and have already booked again.

The hotel rooms are old and dilapidated with plaster peeling off the walls and old fixtures and fittings. Our room was old and tired and definitely in need of modernisation. The bathroom was slightly better but a sink that leaked water everywhere and our air conditioning unit didn’t work. The beds were not the comfiest but ok and clean. The breakfast was ok but there were no vegetarian options on display or offered. I did ask if they had vegetarian sausages and they said they could make something but I’d have to wait (I had my breakfast by that time so left it). My family (not vegetarian) also had to wait for 15 minutes as they had run out of some hot breakfast items on the self serve and had to make more. They didn’t realise until they had run out that they should have started preparing more which was a little disappointing. The staff that we encountered were friendly and professional however. I wouldn’t return to this hotel unless there was no where else to stay in the area.

Great hotel with friendly staff. Great pool. Little odd how they had separate saunas for male and female so couldn't go in with my wife Rooms were spacious and fully functional. Bed was a little on the hard side for us but not to the point they were uncomfortable. My only negative about the rooms were the doors that slammed closed with a thud and at 2am and 3am in the morning that's quite annoying Breakfast was plentiful. The quality of the food was good, unfortunately although the plates were hot the food was only luke warm.

Great staff but… Expedia stung me. They wanted to charge me about £20 for two breakfasts. Only option. There’s only one of me so I declined. Get here and.. it’s £16 FOR ONE BREAKFAST. Absolute robbery, especially when I’ll only have a croissant and a coffee. Won’t be staying at Holiday Inns any more.

Immaculate clean room and very comfortable bed. Pleasant garden view as well. One tiny issue was that someone in a neighbouring room took a shower at 1.30am and this was very noisy for around 30 minutes.

We went past this hotel a few times trying to find it. No one had informed us that the hotel had changed it name. It was only the fact that the satnav lead us there and went into see if I had the right place. There seemed to be a communication lacking between hotel.com and the hotel
