Exelentes habitaciones, y el servicio a la habitación es muy rápido. El estacionamiento muy amplio, la cancha de tenis en buen estado y la alberca de muy buen tamaño . El único inconveniente es que para el acceso a la alberca hay que cruzar el lobby, el bar, el salón y el jardín , está muy complicado el acceso.

What makes this tell my favorite are two things: one is the beautiful outdoor large swimming pool; and the other is the great view and the peaceful setting and it's only a 15 to 20 minute walk down into the center. Thursday through Saturday nights they also have live music at the bar which also has a great view.

Large room, amazing view. Comfortable bed. Dinner at the bar amazing ..was beautiful watching the valley and the lighting change. Nice wine selection. Free parking. Easy walk or inexpensive cab to Zocalo.

Excellent property. Most of the staff was friendly. Pool was very big. A bit cold when you jump in, but you get used to it, especially on hot days, which are often. Looking forward to coming back!

The hotel was nice, staff was great. However, there wasn't a fridge in the room, no ice machine on the property, it's on a very steep hill and not at all walkable to town, unless you're climber. The hotel shuttle only runs once an hour starting at 6pm. During the day you walk in the heat or take a taxi.

I enjoyed my stay staff was super friendly and very helpful. A few downfalls are not close shops or food. Restaurant onsite is pricey but great service. They have a shuttle to town but only a few hour a day on certain days. Taxis are available but gets costly and limit 4 per cab so family if 5 needs 2 cabs. I woul stay here again. Pool is nice but only 9 lounge chairs.

We stayed for 3 nights, NO INTERNET the entire stay, this was an inconceivable to us since both my husband and I work remotely. The staff did not seemed to care you needed access to the internet. We asked if there was somewhere we could go and use internet nearby and they said they did not know of any. We had to wait exactly until 3pm to check in(which is fine), but restroom was dirty (shower had dirt inside), small spiders crawling outside the shower, hotel needs updating. Would not recommend!

The property is very nice. The landscaping is very nice and welcome. When you enter, the bellboy helps take your bags up. There is no elevator in this property. There are 3 floors for the standard rooms. The villas are separate. The room was nothing special. It had a musty smell and the beds were very hard. Not comfy at all. It got the job done but it’s pretty far from the center walking. Overall the grounds were nice but the basic double room could have been better.

The hotel looks beautiful, but is old and shows signs of deterioration, the hot water is a little bit hard to get the right temperature ( be careful because the water sometimes comes extremely hot and can burn your skin). The housekeeping personnel are very good. The rooms don't have good sound insulation so you are able to hear all the noises from outside the room, if you want to rest at night time I don't recommend this hotel because there is loud music almost every night either from the bar, Guelaguetza Auditorium or from the salon where they do events and the music goes to around four in the morning, you can also hear the airplanes approaching the airport. The carpet in the room is torn. There is nothing around the hotel so you either have to take a taxi or walk and if you are not in good shape i won't recommend you to walk because the hotel is on a hill and during rainy days there is a lot of water coming down the hill and you are going to get completely soaked. I don't recommend this hotel, there are way better places in Oaxaca to stay.

The hotel is very dated. The beds were very comfortable, but the bathroom was old and needed attention. It did the job, but wasn’t particularly pleasant to be in. No fridge in the room to keep water cold. The staff were friendly, breakfast was ok, but I didn’t need crickets in my omelette! But when in Mexico and all that! The grounds were spotless and the pool was lovely. A great bonus after a day in the city. You need transport or taxis to get in and out if the town. I the evening they do have a free bus to take you into the town.

This hotel is a paradise few minutes away from busy Oaxaca Center. We had the best of both worlds. It is an old hotel (well maintained) therefore, rooms are VERY quiet and spacious with a wide view of the city and mountains. The gardens are gorgeous. All members of the staff were friendly and making sure everything was perfect during our stay. The restaurant has a wonderful breakfast buffet. Delicious. We did not look for other options. The hotel has taxi service and a also an evening shuttle to the downtown area. We drove. It was a 5 mins or less drive to the downtown area. We are hoping to go back soon.

Está muy bien pero el check-inn es hasta las 3 pm lo cual es muy tarde. Si quiere una hacer Early-check-inn para entrar antes tiene una que pagar una noche adicional (la anterior). Creo que si fueran màs flexibles permitiendo hacer check-inn a las 12 sería súper.

We stayed for the new years at this property. Some things that are important: 1. this is NOT a walkable hotel. You will need a taxi or use their complimentary transportation to the center. 2.They have one restaurant and one bar on premises. The drinks and food are ok but not great. 3. The new years event is not worth it at all. We paid about 110 per person. Included a 4 course meal and open bar only from 9-10:30. And one glass of sparkling wine at midnight. The food was late, stale and not really good. The drinks included where also late and we were charged extra for some drinks we ordered within the time allowed. 4. Service is not really organized and slow. We ordered meals and they bring it one at a time. For a party of 5, some people were done eating while others were barely receiving their order. Bar service was the same. We ordered 2 rounds of drinks and they would bring them all separate. 2 beers, 1 water, 2 mezcalinis came at different times. The second time we ordered, the waiter forgot that we had ordered 1 more mezcalini. The bar had only 11 people at the time. Very amateur service. For New Years celebration I would NOT recommend it. It is too expensive and there is no real value in what you get for. The Marriott in the city center was cheaper and it is a lot more polished at $90 per person.

Mi check in estuvo bastante complicado. Llegué y tenían mi reservación cancelada y la señorita de la recepción solo me dijo que no había lugar y ya. No hizo el intento por darme un mejor servicio o auxiliarme. Después de 45 minutos de ver con Expedia que había pasado me dieron una habitación. Al momento de mi salida, que ya el hotel no tenía tanta gente, la misma señorita me marcó al cuarto para ver si ya iba a salir, presionándome para hacer el check out. Al ir al lobby le comenté que no encontraba la llave y me dijo que tenía que entregarla pero recordé que el día de mi llegada una persona se acercó a preguntarle a otra persona en el lobby sobre el extravío de una llave y le contestó que debía de pagar $100 pesos. Con esto le comenté que sabía que podía pagar $100 pesos y ya solo se percató a decirme que si. Pagué y no me mencionó nada más hasta que le pregunté si podíamos hacer el check out (quería poner algo en una hoja de comentarios) y solo respondió que no tenía que hacer nada. Está señorita con muy mala actitud y sin ganas de resolver o apoyar a los huéspedes es que hace que no nos llevemos un buen sabor de boca del hotel. El demás personal muy atento en alberca, bellboys, bar, etc.

Staff was wonderful,We have a minor issue when we arrive around midnight,talk to Itzel the person in charge at the office,she was very nice and polite and fix our issues in no time. Hotel Victoria is off to the corner. It is a very big property and it has a lot to offer on site but there is nothing really near it. However, downtown is about a simple walk but it's about 20 minutes. Everything is in downtown. But if you want something quick like a convenience store or a quick eat there are no options nearby.
