Fantastic stay and they also they offer a shuttle service which was great if you needed to run short distances. The roof top was amazing which you can order drinks and food. We had booked five rooms and the only hicup was at check in. Unfortunately after having an early morning flight, we had to wait two hours to get our rooms when checking in. But, after we got our rooms, it was smooth sailing. Throughout our stay, there was three weddings and two other events. The hotel is popular especially during wedding season. We would definitely stay again when visiting Oaxaca.

The maintenance staff struggled to fix things. Like the toilet. Came 3 times and kept saying it was fixed but it wasn’t. Also the fitness center was not useable the entire stay. The treadmills don’t work at all and the ellipticals work but turn off randomly. Reported it to staff 4 times and kept being told they would be fixed but never were. Had to pay out of pocket at a local gym. Other than the maintenance issues, everything else was great. Front desk staff was super helpful and pleasant as well as all the servers in the restaurant/bar. Just gotta figure out how to keep things working in the hotel effectively and you all will be #1.

En general la estáncia en el hotel estuvo muy bien, la ubicación, limpieza, orden muy tranquilo, descansamos agusto, hicimos uso de la terraza y alberca, todas las áreas muy limpias, la pasamos genial y el hotel tiene cerca muchas opciones de comida y desayunos, además está ubicado en el barrio mágico de Jalatlaco a unos minutos 10 min. del centro.

Cool: Comfy rooms, great pillow selection, friendly staff, lovely space, situated in a quiet, more residential part of town, a nice walk away from the main attractions of the centro. Not so cool: If you want parking, it's available but tough to get in and out of. 3 floors underground and no lift, so be prepared to hike your luggage up a narrow flight of stairs. The pool is functional but very small and needs maintenance.

Good hotel in a cute little neighborhood. It has more of a boutique-y vibe compared to a standard Marriott but I found it to be quite charming. The neighborhood is a bit trendy so if you’re looking for something more traditional, this might not be it. It’s about a 15-20 min walk from the city center/zocalo. They conveniently offer a free shuttle to anywhere within a 5mile radius, so that was a nice option. I can see how the surrounding area might be a bit sketchy but luckily we did not encounter any issues. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.

Hotel was really pretty and clean. The bar was good and also the restaurant's breakfast. Location was within walking distance on city center. Lots of coffee shops and shopping. The only bad comment I would have is the bed, it was not comfortable at all. I requested a mattress toper or changed of mattress to front desk, but nothing was done to solve the issue.

En general es aceptable, es un hotel céntrico, que permite moverse a pie con facilidad. La comida es buena, pero cara. A unos pasos encuentras opciones a mejor precio y calidad similar o superior. Las habitaciones son de estancias cortas y una pareja, con 3 personas es muy pequeña. La limpieza bien, a excepción del primer día que la habitación no estuvo presentable. Pero hay que insistir para ser atendido. Me pareció caro para lo ofrecido

Hotel muy bonito y limpio. Aspectos a mejorar: limpiar el exceso de polvo en partes escondidas de la habitación (tv, bajo camas, esquinas) ya que los alérgicos sufrimos mucho. El extractor del baño no funcionaba y era muy necesario ya que eramos varias personas y los olores no se van.

El hotel es muy bonito, reserve 2 habitaciones pero en una de ellas el olor a caño en el baño era muy fuerte, y en la otra habia chinches, mi esposa fue la afectada con más de 20 picaduras o mordeduras, lamentable que un lugar donde pagas un poco más por mejor servicio te encuentres con estas sorpresas

Our hotel stay at Centro City Oaxaca was okay. The rooms were spacious and clean. Room cleaning was excellent - gracias! It was quiet and felt very safe. The area is beautiful and has a lot to do - walking distance. You dont need a car or a taxi. However, the pool cleaniness was not the best. We saw 2 pieces of gum by the side of the pool and were there for 3 days. Also, pricings for food, liquor and buffet were very pricey! Do not eat there! Save your money and eat out!

El hotel esta en un barrio imperdible de Oaxaca, es muy bonito, su personal atento, solo los cuartos si dan a la calle son muy ruidosos y si dan a interiores no tienen ninguna ventilación, lo que les da una sensación de "encierro" Seria excelente poner una ventilación en las ventanas ya que no todos somos "fanáticos" del aire acondicionado. El servicio de transporte propio es gratuito y su operador es educado, amable y da excelentes tips para visitar.

If you’re traveling to Oaxaca, this was a beautiful place to stay in the arts district. The hotel itself is beautiful (like everything else in the city), rooms are small but comfy, staff is lovely (but expect little English to be spoken). Tons of great food and artisans around. Gym is decent.

It is a nice property, well located, with parking. The only thing that is terrible is the bathroom where you have nowhere to put a single thing. Not practical at all. We had to put a table inside to be able to put a towel and toiletries

I absolutely loved my stay at city centro. It’s beautiful, the room was perfect, the staff & amenities were 10/10 and the bed was comfortable. I will definitely be back & will recommend this hotel to all my friends and family when visiting Oaxaca.

Reserve una habitación doble con una cama king size para mi y mi esposo, cuando llegamos me indicaron que no tenian habitación y que me darian una con dos camas queen, lo cual no acepté. Luego de aproximadamente 30 minutos de espera lograron preparar la habitación como la reservé, sin embargo fue un mal rato innecesario.

A member of our party got sick and had to extend her stay because she wasn’t well enough to travel and the staff went above and beyond to support us. I especially want to thank Susanna at the front desk who was so helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel, it’s like staying with family.

Staff was nice but it took us hours to get some tooth paste. We also only got one towel for two people after room service. All good just ask for more if needed… the entertainment on the weekends was superb… I would stay here again.

We arrived to our hotel Friday night after flying in from Los Angeles, we were told by the front desk that we did not have a reservation with their hotel. Mind you I had confirmed with the hotel 3 times to avoid any problems, I was told each time that we were confirmed. The front desk told us that somebody had cancelled our reservation and would have to complete a new reservation and pay again. Our entire stay was already pre-paid. I forwarded our confirmation and email from Expedia confirming our reservation, they didn’t care. We were so stressed out and worried we would not have a place to stay. We went ahead and completed a new reservation and paid again to ensure we had a place to stay. I checked again that night and the following morning, they said they didn’t know what had happened. I contacted Expedia, they were very helpful, contacted the hotel, confirmed our reservation. And asked that they refund the money we had paid the other riot night. The hotel only said they did not know what had happened. That was a horrible start to our vacation. Beware that the hotel does not charge you twice and try to tell you that you don’t have reservations. In all my years in traveling I had never had such a horrible experience.

Property was good and nice terrace with pool. However, we had to remind the hotel to have our room cleaned everyday because it was still not cleaned at the end of the day when we came back in the late afternoon. The hotel is nice and it a nice neighborhood. However, it is a 15-20 walk to get to downtown.

Overall, its was a good stay. The location is in a beautiful neighborhood just 15 min walking from City Center full of Cafes and restaurants. Located in front of a beautiful church. The rooms are decent, but none have a city view, all are facing to the side or back or inside. The service could be better, from reception to the bar. Staff was friendly, but did not offer or communicate everything we needed to know about the hotel or area. For example, there is a shuttle that can take you to city center, but we never knew.

En general la estáncia en el hotel estuvo muy bien, la ubicación, limpieza, orden muy tranquilo, descansamos agusto, hicimos uso de la terraza y alberca, todas las áreas muy limpias, la pasamos genial y el hotel tiene cerca muchas opciones de comida y desayunos, además está ubicado en el barrio mágico de Jalatlaco a unos minutos 10 min. del centro.

The area around the property is very cute, and you are super walkable to the main city center. There are some great restaurants around, but be aware a lot of them close quite early. There is a beautiful church next door that is very active with weekend events (varying in noise levels). As is the custom in much of Mexico, there are a lot of neighborhood fireworks, parades, and concerts at all hours of the day and night, so be ready for that with just about anywhere you stay. We got accustomed to hearing firecrackers going off starting at 6am all through the morning. The property is super cute, the staff is very nice, and there is a free shuttle that can drop you around town. the pool is lovely and kept at a great temperature. The beds were a bit firm for my liking, but that is just a personal preference. Overall, I had a great stay here!

Good hotel in a cute little neighborhood. It has more of a boutique-y vibe compared to a standard Marriott but I found it to be quite charming. The neighborhood is a bit trendy so if you’re looking for something more traditional, this might not be it. It’s about a 15-20 min walk from the city center/zocalo. They conveniently offer a free shuttle to anywhere within a 5mile radius, so that was a nice option. I can see how the surrounding area might be a bit sketchy but luckily we did not encounter any issues. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.

Se for pagar pelo café da manhã, certifique primeiro dos itens que te agrada. Porque na minha hospedagem não tinha manteiga/margarina no café da manhã. Tinha acabado! Simples assim! Um hotel “Marriot” não prover estoque de itens básicos, como manteiga/margarina no café da manhã, fica complicado! A piscina é top! O serviço de bar é ótimo, mas guacamole com “biscoto” de tortilhas, é ridículo! Estamos no México, onde vende tortilha a cada esquina, e usar “falsa tortilha”, é triste!

las instalaciones muy bonitas y modernas, la cama y almohadas muy cómodas, la alberca suficiente para pasar una tarde agusto y el personal muy servicial. El único problema es el desayuno, no es bueno ni variado, falta mucho que desarrollar en este aspecto, el café es de máquina y no de cafetera espresso (no es bueno).

We had a wonderful experience. Everything worked out really well. The location is excellent and it seems very safe and walkable. The restaurant is a little pricey, but the service was excellent and the food was delicious. We would love to stay there in the future!

Overall decent stay. The very loud music served at the mediocre brunch each day was an unwelcome surprise. Staff was friendly and helpful when they are able to help, but I got the general impression that they’re oftentimes not empowered by management to provide the level of service they actually want to provide.

Our hotel stay at Centro City Oaxaca was okay. The rooms were spacious and clean. Room cleaning was excellent - gracias! It was quiet and felt very safe. The area is beautiful and has a lot to do - walking distance. You dont need a car or a taxi. However, the pool cleaniness was not the best. We saw 2 pieces of gum by the side of the pool and were there for 3 days. Also, pricings for food, liquor and buffet were very pricey! Do not eat there! Save your money and eat out!

The room had a leak from the roof next to the bed and the hotel staff gave us towels and basket to put on the room to catch the water, the bathroom has a window broken with a starry glass. Not a very good experience to be q Marriot hotel and for the price of the room. I do not recommend this hotel, better hoteles around for the price paid. Super bad experience and the worst part was the support from the staff to solve the problem. Better to Look for another choice! 👎👎

The hotel and the room were really nice, the design was lovely and the courtyard was a nice place to eat and drink. It was quiet in the room too over our 5 night stay. The area is a bit out of the town centre but there are lots of great places to eat and drink nearby so you don't need to go far every night and the area feels safe and social. However, we felt the hotel was overpriced compared to other hotels on our trip, as breakfast was not included and there was no coffee machine or extra bottled water in the room (just 1 little bottle of water per guest a day). We had breakfast one morning but it was a lot and not especially worth the high cost.
