We booked westin hotel from 14 Dec to 19 Dec under club . We notice that hotel has stopped limousine services to airport. Dining at cocktail al restricted us to 45 min and somemore was over crowded. 4 of usb2 kids n 2 adult has to go back to room and to wait to access to club becoz club was full. Shuttle bus service to bring us back from station to hotel was cancelled in one ofnthe afternoon left us with 2 young kids have to walked back with cold to hotel for 20 mins. Very sad with the services n such 5 star hotel can stop the shuttle service without prior notice

Stayed in a corner suite. Room is spacious, filled with amenities. Excellent service. Breakfast spread was not fantastic compared to other hotels. Location is quite far for walking from train station especially during rainy season. Thankfully hotel provides free shuttle service to and from Osaka train station, however the service ends at 18;40. On the whole a great experience.

Es war eine Enttäuschung, dass Pool nicht von den Kindern benutzt werden darf. Das Pool war einer der Hauptkriterien bei der Auswahl des Hotels. Ausserdem hätte man dafür noch extra zahlen müssen. Die Nähe zum Umeda Sky Building und der schöne Gartenbereich waren eine schöne Wettmachung.. Das Frühstück ist sehr reichhaltig, jedoch zu wenig Tische, um alle Gäste morgens aufzufangen. Man rechne mit einer guten halben Stund Wartezeit. Draussen sieht das Hotel in die Jahre gekommen aus, drinnen war es aber sehr schön.

We stayed here with our three young children and it was great. Wonderful breakfast options and a great room service experience after a long day. We arrived at 8am after travel and they gladly stored our luggage and then moved it into our room for us. We would love to stay here again. Of note, the pool is part of the fitness club and therefore only for adults.

Location, and staff were amazing! Small downside: pool is for adults only. Our fault for not checking and not a diss on the hotel. We used this hotel as our Osaka site seeing spot and USJ adventures. Beds were really small is our only complaint.

While Westin Osaka is clean and comfortable, however it lacks the ability to walk out and find dining or shopping options. Don’t get me wrong, the location is quite walkable to Osaka Station but in winter when we travelled walking too far wasn’t a great option. The other aspect which the hotel should seriously improve is its breakfast space. Both sitting and food buffet. For a large hotel the space is quite small and buffet space is cramped up. While the variety is great… it needs space. So does its executive lounge. Here it lacked space and snacks options. Very basic.

The room carpet was not very clean at all. We made sure we wore the slippers in the room. The staff was amazing. They were very nice, friendly and very helpful. The pool is for adults only and you have to pay a daily fee of about $25 cad to use the pool facilities. I did not know either of these things when I booked here. Our kids 12 and 15 years old were really looking forward to the pool. So don’t book here if you think your kids will have access to the pool. Also the bathroom was big but the room was small. The double bed was very uncomfortable. The entrance and lounge area were very nice.

Well maintained property. Did not do any room cleaning received a note under the door apologizing and if needed it to ask by 5 pm. Unfortunately did not return to room until 9 pm. BAR only open Thu - Sunday with limited hours. Not a great experience basically just ok.

my husband and i really enjoyed our stay at the Westin Osaka. the staff were so kind, helpful, and professional. the hotel was beautiful and very clean. the surrounding area was great with many shopping malls and restaurants. we also liked the convenience of the free shuttle bus to the station upon our departure!

Everything is good except for the fact that the furniture is very old and worn. The chair in the room was very uncomfortable as the cushion had sunk in. There should be better maintenance done as the carpet looks very worn as well.

Everything is great except that the hotel’s queen size beds are not actually queen size. I would suggest checking the size of the bed. Some rooms have full size and some have queen size. But they don’t seem to have any queen size beds in their rooms. We were traveling with two kids so thought we can manage with two queens but that was not the case. We ended up spending more money and moving into another room.

This is still an amazing place to stay in Osaka. Th location is my fav esp with the new Osaka Station mall complex. Nice big rooms with tons of amenities. I wish the rooms were slightly more modern, but they are not dated by any means. The breakfast is amazing.

Centrally located with just a short walk (15 min) to Osaka City Station. The best shopping and restaurants are located in the area- Grand Front Osaka, Lucua, Hanshin, Daimaru, Herbis, Hep 5. If you are like us with lots of luggage, a taxi ride in will cost $150 from KIX. We took the limousine bus on the return back and paid a total of $31. This included a taxi to the Herbis bus stop. Just a tad less convenient than catching a taxi, but a great option to save a bit of $ to use for more shopping.

来阪時は以前定宿としていました。ハード部分な部分は既に経年の為クラシックさは否めないが、スタッフ全員のサービス等のソフト部分は一流と言っても過言ではない。残念な点は、エグゼクティブラウンジの朝食が無くなった点と、朝食バッフェが混雑して寒いフロント階に教会のような待合椅子が用意されそこで待つ形態をとっていた点。収容数と朝食バッフェの見込客数は想定できる筈なので、チェックイン時に混雑が予想される曜日と時間帯くらいはアナウンスすべきでは無いかと感じた。

Well preserved building, with nice lobby. Not busy, there is always an elevator available. A little but beautiful garden on site. Large rooms with good view, clean windows. There was a confusion about restaurants hours. The guide in the room says restaurants work till 10PM, but they are actually closed at 8PM.

Well maintained property that you can tell was once quite luxurious and grand. Thanks to the age of the hotel, the rooms were very spacious for Japan and allowed my family to spread out somewhat. Too bad the on site restaurants were only operating with limited hours.

The Westin is a lovely hotel in a great location close to OsakaJR station for both metro and JR rail options. The Umeda area is lively with a wide array of eating options and wonderful shops. The hotel rooms were spacious and quiet. The breakfast had lots of high quality options. And, the staff, from reception, to hospitality, housekeeping and concierge were wonderful. Overall an excellent hotel.
