Conveniently located just 20 minutes walk from St. Stephens Green. The hotel is clean and well maintained. Staff is friendly and always available. Hotel has onsite parking. Surface parking is often full, undeground usually has spaces but tricky to get in and out - entrance is narrrow.

Also, it should be clear that most rooms views are generic urban not what the charming Georgian featured on the website. Lastly, workout room is a disappointment. it was great and the people and the front desk at night time were extremely helpful but the cleanliness in the room wasn’t the best as it was dusty, hairs left in the shower and crumbs on the bed also some sort of hole in the wall

Great service, definitely could have been cleaner. Found items that should’ve been vacuumed up, and walls that have what look like to be splatters on them in bedroom and bathroom. Just little things, but enough to make you realize it’s not clean. As far as comfort, the instant coffee pot is actually a tray, which might seem convenient, except for it is 5 feet away from the nearest plug on a counter, so you have to clean off everything you have on the counter to be able to make coffee or get it close enough. Zzz can see the wear and tear, like rips in wallpaper and chips and tile in the shower and beginnings of mildew. Also, and it may be a thing in Ireland that I don’t know about, but no face cloths at all in the bathroom, just hand towels and bath towels. So different, but not sure if that’s the custom here. Food for breakfast was very good, and like I said before service was great. Because I feel they are more pros and cons, I would probably come again.

Set in a nice area of Dublin with an Aircoach stop right outside. 20 minute walk into the centre. Spotlessly clean, lovely staff and very comfortable beds. Breakfast available if needed. Would recommend and definitely stay there again

The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The lobby is lovely but the rooms are due a refresh in some areas. Marks on the walls, worn away pain and the silicone needs redoing in shower. We moved rooms after our first night as it was quite noise from outside delivery trucks early in the morning. The staff were very quick to help and our second night was much quieter. The extractor fan in both bathrooms did not work, and the drains had a bad smell to them. Both rooms had sogns of wear here and there but the bedding and towels were clean, very comfortable beds and pillows. Again, the best front desk staff and concierge. The location is perfect for avoiding the busy city, good coffee shops nearby and the bus stops right outside. It's only a 20 minute walk into the city too, so we loved the location.

My only criticism is the shower door in the bathroom. It’s the strangest door that doesn’t seal properly against the tub so after every shower there a large pool of water to wipe up. Otherwise the room was great. About a 30 minute walk to the city centre. Nice lounge area and I appreciated the 12:00pm check out time which worked well with our flight time.

The bathroom was quite small. Shower extremely low and uncomfortable for anyone above 6feet tall. Tv was pretty terrible. Had only around 20 working channels and no options to cast. Pretty outdated. The staff was great. Accommodating and friendly.

Reception staff were poor, we had check in issues, 1st time - Wrong room card 2nd time - Wrong room and bed size 3rd time - urine on carpet next to bed 4th time - Bingo nice room. All could have been put right by a simple apology, which we didnt get just a shrug and a hmmmm! Did however receive an apology from the reservations Manager and Guest Services.

Staff in the bar were very friendly, supportive and efficient. Reception was not good. Had difficulty finding booking, could not find a room in this huge hotel at 1.30pm, when we returned at 6pm we were given a room on the third floor right above the very noisy hotel air condition unit. The senior receptionist was very understanding when we returned and he changed the room. That was good. Finally no card was asked for so we could not charge to room.

They took unfriendly to another level...paid for our room in full..then they decided they wanted another 200 as a deposit Spoke with alot of other ppl..no1 else was asked for a deposit. Service, hospitality, and cleanliness of the hotel was A+! The hotel itself was very nice, and a perfect location for me and all of the things I wanted to do. I enjoy being a slight ways away from a city central (away from all the craziness), but it was close enough that I could walk anywhere I wanted to be! The only negative aspect of my stay was how thin the walls were. I could hear literally everything that my neighbors were saying and doing :( I was kept up by snoring for my first few nights, and then my last few nights were disturbed by party animals. That being said- when I called the front desk to file a noise complaint (for the party animals- not the snores lol), they were extremely efficient in taking care of it! Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would recommend!

Hotel lovely, clean tidy and well looked after. However stood with my brother at the bar to buy a drink , waited for ages no one else at bar waiting eventually two people turned up to be served and were served before us ,so we decided to leave.....bar staff terrible ( sun 17th aug 2025 around 5pm)

Had a great stay , great location for getting around Dublin , local bus stops minutes away outside . The air coach to and from the airport stop out side the hotel . Good size and clean rooms, coffee shop in the lobby with a nice laid out bar area . They do offer breakfast but there is a “spar” little supermarket 5 minutes walk away for drinks food snacks etc. Had a great experience, highly recommend.

A large, modern and well-appointed hotel in a nice area, 20 min stroll or 5 min cab from centre. Option of big buffet breakfast or good coffee n pastries in lobby, all at extra charge. A good stay at a comparatively reasonable price. Nice walk along grand canal nearby.

We stayed at the Clayton for seven nights and enjoyed our stay. We prepaid for the hot breakfast which was excellent in variety and quality. I am allergic to dairy and the kitchen was quick to prepare poached or fried eggs as the scrambled eggs had milk in them. We ate at the hotel bar a couple of nights. The wings and salad were excellent. The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. There was a mini fridge and sitting area which was appreciated. It is about a 30 minute walk to city centre and Grafton Street. The transit system is excellent. There is a bus stop which drops off right out front of the hotel and the bus to city centre is about a block away. The only downside was our room was at the end of a very, very, very long hallway. We would stay at the Clayton again.

Really liked our stay at the Clayton. It's a modern very large hotel. We loved the breakfast and had a good dinner in the their restaurant. Rooms were modern and very clean. Our shower could have been better. Dublin is such a cool place to visit and this hotel is in a good section of the city.

Decent hotel, only stayed one night for convenience, like all hotels in Ireland much too expensive, food was also expensive, €22 for fish and chips is a bit much tbh, fish was really good but chips felt like they were cheap oven chips. Breakfast was ok but not even close to the type of spreads you get in most decent European hotels and AVOID the coffee or at least what they call coffee, it was terrible, would use again if convenient but wouldn't use for a long stay

Best included breakfast I’ve ever had. Staff came over and let us know we could order eggs or an omelette from the kitchen, which was great! Will say the drip coffee was terrible though haha. 4 sugars couldn’t save it 😂
