Hotel was very average. Happy to have stayed only one night. Parking very very inconvenient. Parking garage that they told us to use did not open until 8am and we had an early morning flight. Also. Warm night no A/C and front desk staff rude

The hotel staff was very nice and allowed us to check in a little early since our room was ready. The overall condition of the hotel and connected parking garage was clean. Although the parking garage was close, it was not initially obvious where it was; you had to drive around the block. I had to awkwardly park while my partner ran in to ask where we were supposed to park. Also, the hotel was not able to advise how much the parking was and whether we would actually need to validate the ticket or not. Thankfully, we didn't validate it as it would have committed us to pay $18 Euro, because it was the weekend and we only had to pay $9. This was not the biggest deal in the world, just something that the hotel may do a little better on informing people on. The only other issue was the toilet didn't flush well. I told the front desk that it was not flushing, and they said that they would fix it while we went out for the evening; unfortunately, the problem continued.

we stayed here for 2 nights. the rooms are nice, comfortable. parking was really easy with underground space. there was a dinning area that looked nice. we didn't have the opportunity to try it with our short stay, we wanted to venture into the local cuisine.

Traveling with baby & toddler one night stay. Booked in advance and check in to room perfect. Bed comfy and good location. Eveing meal I ordered room service as would be easier on an app which seemed fine. When food was ready I got phoned to room saying order was ready to come and collect it. So I checked app and I had selected room service and also was charged room service fee. I went down to “collect” our food the bar man said I need to pay for food and “ his system wasn’t showing payment” thankfully I had proof of payment on my phone. My meals then were sat on the bar uncovered I asked for ketchup for the kids meal and I was told they had none it ran out which i found strange. I then asked for the drinks i ordered and again was questioned rudely by a girl. I was looking at the tray wondering how in the name of god I would carry our food upstairs when an offer to bring it up came from a girl. The journey to the room food wasn’t even cover with tin foil which I thought was really disgusting and when we got to room the lady accidentally spilled coke all over the dining tray. She did kindly offer another one but I refused. The food was very underwhelming i order beef and it was swimming in gravy and honestly the splash of coke that fell into my dish probably added flavour! I would highly recommend to avoid in room dining option as it does not exist. thought I have just paid €45 for adult meal and kids meal it was horrendous experience. Use just eat app next time.

Lovely hotel. About 15 min walk to Dublin centre. Room very smart and clean. Only downsides I noted was no air con in room and when I was there (July 23) they said there was no food as they don’t have a chef right now.

Not a four-starred hotel due to the lack of amenities (no gym, no business centre, no room service, no fridge in the room, no toiletries, etc.) but decent and clean rooms. The room I had faced the main plaza and it gets noisy at night with drunken and homeless people roaming around. The wifi is very weak and not reliable. I won't recommend it for business travel.

The staff were very friendly, the parking garage next to the hotel was easy to park in. The property and room were both clean. The room was stocked with coffee, tea, milk & sugar. The area was good for public transport and the Jameson Distillery is right across the street. The only issue I had was we paid to have the balcony room and unfortunately got one that was adjoined to the residential living connected to the hotel and we were unable to use our balcony because of the smell and infestation of flies from the neighbors balcony. The resident was a heavy smoker and cigarette butts and old cups filled with stale cigarettes covered the other side of the balcony. A bit disappointing but out of the hotels control. Overall the location was convenient, hotel was clean and parking was easy.

Bathroom was still dirty, my daughter wore a whit dress and sat on the floor in the foye, when she sat up, it was black stained. Dont try and order off the menu as they only serve wht the current chef of the day wants to or know how to make. Only highlight to my stay was the brekfast

The beds were comfortable but the bathroom was in need of a deep clean (dirt around the door stop and shower door were particularly noticeable). We also noticed a bad drain smell coming from the bathroom. We worked out that it was coming from the toilet so we kept the seat down and door of the bathroom closed. Outside the hotel front door there is a small green space which regularly had homeless people sitting on. That's fine, but the late night drinking and chatting that we could hear in our room was not fine. The hotel needs to invest in proper double glazing, or move people on. You expect some noise in a city but this wasn't particularly nice. I wouldn't stay here again.

Fick ett rum som luktade illa, stod en luftrengörare igång. Hjälpte föga. Fullbelagt första natten, men sen blev vi uppgraderade till en toppensvit 2 nätter. Dock var det dåligt städat. Var nog nya lakan men dammsugning var ej gjord. Mycket smulor o hår/dammtussar i heltäckningsmattan. Sviten var dock fantastisk i övrigt så hyfsat nöjda trots allt. Bra frukost.

The hotel is clean, the bed is comfortable and there’s free water in your room daily. I really appreciate the fact that they provide daily cleaning service to your room unlike most hotels these days where you have to request it a day in advance. Truly enjoyed our 3 day stay at this hotel.

When we arrived at our room it was hot and there was not a thermostat control in the room. The sliding glass door was broken ( indicated by the sign 'Do Not Use') Not sure why they would still rent a room with no ability to access cool air.

Overall we had a good stay at this hotel. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The rooms were modern and clean, although they do not have air conditioning. We had to keep the balcony door and window open to keep the temperature comfortable for sleeping. The breakfast buffet had a good selection of both hot and cold items. The location is a little off the beaten path. It was a 15-20 minute walk to the city center and many attractions and restaurants. There is a streetcar (tram) stop close which is another good option. The parking garage is not operated by the hotel, but it is right below it. Also, the location was a little noisy. During our stay a small but loud group of people drinking beer congregated in the small public park right outside the front entrance of the hotel into the evening hours.

Breakfast was good and a full Irish including white pudding, on the whole very nice! Room was very good but toilet was a challenge to flush properly but in all other aspect was good for the time we were there. Red route tram was about 6 mins walk away and was 4 € for a return trip into town.

The room was very noisy. I couldn’t sleep well. I can hear the noise from other room. Upto 2 am in the morning and after 6 am in the morning as well. I complained to the reception but there is no action taken. It was horrible experience

The room was tidy and the staff was helpful and friendly and there was easy parking near the hotel. The room doors are very heavy and, along with the fire doors every three rooms or so, there are doors slamming throughout the night - even white noise and a fan could not stifle that noise. Also, the duvet is too heavy for summer, and there’s no air flow through the room, so sleeping is very uncomfortable. I did not get much sleep at all.

The location of the hotel was top notch. But that was the only god thing about this hotel. It was grumpy staff members checking us in. The cleaner did not clean our room until we complained. The cleaning was very badly executed. The staff at breakfast was unhelpful and the breakfast itself was a disaster. It was disgusting to say the least. We were afraid to get sick from the things that they served. The only explanation we have to all this is that the location makes people book this hotel and that’s what makes them stay in business. Do not stay here that’s all we have to recommend.
The location of the hotel was top notch. But that was the only god thing about this hotel. It was grumpy staff members checking us in. The cleaner did not clean our room until we complained. The cleaning was very badly executed. The staff at breakfast was unhelpful and the breakfast itself was a disaster. It was disgusting to say the least. We were afraid to get sick from the things that they served. The only explanation we have to all this is that the location makes people book this hotel and that’s what makes them stay in business. Do not stay here that’s all we have to recommend.

We checked in late ay night and the person at the front desk was not kind, not rude but not friendly or nice. The 3 person room was a nice idea but the room was small and awkwardly situated. 3 adults with luggage and personal belongings made the room feel even smaller. The balcony was wasted space and the door was impossible to get open. We had no control over the temp and the bathroom had no fan so it was not easy for all of us to get ready in the morning. The day after check in our keys didn't work after breakfast so we had to get them re-issued with no explanation as to why. The morning we left, we tried calling the front desk to let them know we were expecting a ride to the airport and we couldn't get thru. When we got to the lobby I tried telling the gentleman our troubles and he didn't seem to understand or care. We had one positive experience with a staff member the morning we checked out. I regret not getting his name but he was at the restaurant checking room numbers for breakfast.

We arrived from the airport VERY early for our check-in and were warmly greeted by the overnight manager Branco (?). He was incredibly accommodating and made the beginning of our stay in Dublin very lovely. We would highly recommend this Maldron location!

Thais was the receptionist as we entered the hotel. She went over and beyond her call of duty and was an exceptional employee. I would highly recommend her for any job because she was so wonderful. thanks for making our stay so pleasant thank you for bringing a fan and extra waters up to us thank you for always having a cheerful smile on your face. You made us stay a wonderful experience.

The beds were comfortable but the bathroom was in need of a deep clean (dirt around the door stop and shower door were particularly noticeable). We also noticed a bad drain smell coming from the bathroom. We worked out that it was coming from the toilet so we kept the seat down and door of the bathroom closed. Outside the hotel front door there is a small green space which regularly had homeless people sitting on. That's fine, but the late night drinking and chatting that we could hear in our room was not fine. The hotel needs to invest in proper double glazing, or move people on. You expect some noise in a city but this wasn't particularly nice. I wouldn't stay here again.

This hotel is located right across the Jameson Distillery and is conveniently located. There’s parking option available for a fee which is. Great option because we had a rental car. It’s easily walkable if you’re planning to gallivant around the city but also close to a Luas station. The staff is very friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

Overall we had a good stay at this hotel. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The rooms were modern and clean, although they do not have air conditioning. We had to keep the balcony door and window open to keep the temperature comfortable for sleeping. The breakfast buffet had a good selection of both hot and cold items. The location is a little off the beaten path. It was a 15-20 minute walk to the city center and many attractions and restaurants. There is a streetcar (tram) stop close which is another good option. The parking garage is not operated by the hotel, but it is right below it. Also, the location was a little noisy. During our stay a small but loud group of people drinking beer congregated in the small public park right outside the front entrance of the hotel into the evening hours.

Great location. Near Jamenson on Bow Street. We did the tour! Loved Cobblestone Pub. Live music every day! Hotel was clean and had a nice balcony. Lots of restaurant choices around hotel. Also bear bus stop!

All the staff were very pleasant and welcoming. There was a good selection for breakfast options, however the cooked breakfast on offer was at best only luke warm. It is slightly out of the way of the centre of Dublin, but still everything was reachable by foot ( 20 - 30 minute walk , depending on your pace) . We had one evening meal in the hotel. It was a limited menu, portion sizes were small , I had a pasta dish that was again only luke warm and greasy ! Despite this it had a nice taste. We chose this hotel as it had a balcony which I hoped would give me the convenience to have a smoke outside without having to go down and out of the hotel at night as I often have a broken sleep. However there were signs on the balcony doors that forbid smoking on the balcony , which meant I had to get dressed and go out of the hotel at night for a cigarette. When the room provides an outdoor space and does not allow smoking , then this should be made clear on the site for those booking. The hotel did not offer anything special regarding facilities or the area for us to return to this hotel or book this chain of hotels again.

I once again chose the Maldron at Smithfield to stay for a few days of work and pleasure. The hotel is a brief walk to the city centre and also the nearby LUAS line. As ever the food service is good, however they shut after breakfast and open from 1700. Good wifi and great location.

Traveling with baby & toddler one night stay. Booked in advance and check in to room perfect. Bed comfy and good location. Eveing meal I ordered room service as would be easier on an app which seemed fine. When food was ready I got phoned to room saying order was ready to come and collect it. So I checked app and I had selected room service and also was charged room service fee. I went down to “collect” our food the bar man said I need to pay for food and “ his system wasn’t showing payment” thankfully I had proof of payment on my phone. My meals then were sat on the bar uncovered I asked for ketchup for the kids meal and I was told they had none it ran out which i found strange. I then asked for the drinks i ordered and again was questioned rudely by a girl. I was looking at the tray wondering how in the name of god I would carry our food upstairs when an offer to bring it up came from a girl. The journey to the room food wasn’t even cover with tin foil which I thought was really disgusting and when we got to room the lady accidentally spilled coke all over the dining tray. She did kindly offer another one but I refused. The food was very underwhelming i order beef and it was swimming in gravy and honestly the splash of coke that fell into my dish probably added flavour! I would highly recommend to avoid in room dining option as it does not exist. thought I have just paid €45 for adult meal and kids meal it was horrendous experience. Use just eat app next time.

Great location with shopping and food within steps from the hotel. The river is a few blocks away and the Jameson distillery tour is across from the hotel. The staff was helpful and brought fans to the room when it was hot.
