The Gibson is ideal for concerts at 3 arena..shower is normally amazing but was temperamental this time to regulate temperature but this maybe due to being on 5th floor. Had requested late checkout via email sent by hotel for additional add on but only found out at check-in that not avaliable but told to ring in am but refused again as hotel was over booked since previous day..

The staff were excellent throughout our stay and the hotel was clean, but unfortunately the overall experience was disappointing. We arrived for breakfast at around 9am, so not particularly late, but the cooked breakfast was cold and very poor. The room itself was okay, but quite dark as it overlooked an office block. The biggest issue was that the shower had no hot water, which really isn’t acceptable for a hotel stay. I mentioned the cold breakfast and the lack of hot water at checkout, but the response was just a polite “sorry about that, hopefully we do better next time.” Given the issues raised, that felt fairly dismissive. Good staff, but the basics weren’t right on this stay.

Perfectly located for 3Arena but about a mile and a half along the river to the centre of Dublin. Staff were amazing, super friendly and attentive. Rooms were very, very generous on size and bathrooms were spotless. Would definitely stay here again.
