Car parking is Euro 25 per day in shopping centre car park under the hotel. Hotel guests get a discounted price. There is a Dunnes supermarket and store next door. The red line tram stops outside which goes the 1.5km to the city centre for Euro 2.30. Breakfast is a good hot and cold buffet. Hotel is new.

We stayed at this hotel at the beginning of and the last day of a 10-day trip to Ireland. The first time was without problems, it is a nice hotel. However our last day there was less than ideal. The 2 elevators that go from the underground parking to the hotel were both out of service (one wasn't working the first time either). This required us to carry heavy luggage up a set of stairs to another levels elevator that took us to the street in front of the hotel. My partner had recent knee surgery so this was a huge inconvenience. Also the air conditioning in our room the last night of our stay was not working. The room was at 30 deg C/86 F when we entered and only cooled to 27 C when we got back a few hours later. As the hotel was fully booked they were unable to move us to another room. The staff provided a couple of fans, but still not a comfortable temperature to sleep. They did give us a complimentary breakfast. Note that this hotel's lobby is on the 3rd floor of the building and has escalators from the ground floor, in addition to the 2 elevators. In light of the potential for elevator issues, be weary if you or someone you are traveling with has difficulty walking or is in a wheelchair. On the positive side... it is a clean hotel and the staff are very friendly. The lounge and restaurant area are very nice and the food and drinks were very good.

Overall lovely hotel. But steam room was out of action, and the floor of the sauna was cracked. Nice idea to have spa facilities but disappointing they were not all available at time of our stay. Gym was decent, and good it’s available 24/7. Air con in room was VERY noisy and pretty much ineffective even at full blast. No “do not disturb” sign in our room, even though we saw them on other doors. Cartons of water replaced daily in the fridge, but no glasses provided for them. And no access to ice. Not a big problem, but would have been nice. One morning at breakfast we were offered tea/coffee brought to the table. One morning we weren’t. So inconsistent service. Some items on the breakfast menu not available (or certainly was not obvious how to order them) so no poached or fried eggs. Decent selection otherwise at breakfast and food was tasty. Very bizarre set up in the bathroom in that there is a large panel of frosted glass looking into the bedroom itself - so when the bathroom light is on it glares into the bedroom. No chance of getting up in the night without disturbing roommate. Location fantastic, and good parking rate for hotel guests. Reception staff friendly. Handy online check in and check out if preferred.

Good proximity to the airport; good food options next door for breakfast, lunch. Friendly staff. Had some room service options even with our checking in after midnight. Very minimal fitness room. Parking available in garage, but with fee. Overall I would recommend the Gibson.

The room was not very clean. The floor was sticky when we checked in on Saturday. We figured they would mop it the next day, but they didn't. On Monday, we were working in our room and had the DND sign on the door until the afternoon. They didn't come and clean the room in the late afternoon. So we were up and out of the room early on Tuesday so they could clean. When I got back, it looked like a 5-year-old had cleaned the room. The duvet was hanging off the bed, the curtains were fully closed and there was hair and dust accumulated on the floor in the bathroom. They took the hotel slippers that we were using and had left neatly by the door. We don't wear shoes in our room and wear slippers instead. They did not replace them; they just took them and threw them away, I guess. I complained and the housekeeping manager came back with the cleaner to redo the room. There were a couple of days when the escalator was not working, and then they broke the front door. We paid over 200€ per night and stayed for 5 nights due to our conference being held at this location. I'm not sure if I would stay again.

Confortable, spacious rooms. We were on the top floor, overlooking one of the courtyards, which was quiet. The relaxation area, also on the top floor, is a plus and worth visiting (nice steam room, sauna and, for warmer days, a couple of jacuzzis on the balcony). Quite practical for getting into town since the tram line terminus is just in front of the hotel. The bar/restaurant is not quite up to the standard of the rest: the bar food is quite mediocre. Another thing that could be improved: the coffee at breakfast is weak. No doubt fine for Irish tastes, but for continentals there should be an espresso coffee machine in the breakfast room.

This place has the most uncomfortable bed I've ever used, and bedding to match. The anti-slip may they insist you use in the shower doesn't grip and slips from under your feet, if you don't use it the surface is even more slippery. The Mrs fell twice in the shower! Luckily I knew not only from the noise, but also the horrible WINDOW between the bed and the bathroom (so don't expect any privacy). The walls and doors seem to be made from some kind of new, ultra-thin material because I was woken from my (admittedly uncomfortable) "sleeps" frequently by passers by in the corridor; these people weren't being boistrous or loud however, it wasn't their fault....but if anyone is talking as they pass your room it sounds as if they're in bed with you! Half the lifts didn't work when I wanted to access the "gym"....which is the sorriest excuse for one I've ever seen, ended up not bothering. The staff seem to have a script memorized as talking to them is like being on the phone to a call center and they don't seem able to answer simple questions about parking etc. the reception is on the 3rd floor and the 2 levels below it are completely redundant, like....empty! The restaurant is roomy but depressing, and the seating in the lobby is uncomfortable. The room was clean though.

The check-in process was very easy, the room was a good size - my first impression was good. However i discovered upon getting into bed that the duvet was blood stained - so much so that it could be seen through the duvet cover. The pillow was damp, and the extra pillows in the cupboard were soiled. When i called room service, it took 30 minutes for someone to bring a replacement duvet. While i appreciate that it was 1AM and there were likely less staff working, i would have imagined that something necessary for sleep would have been brought sooner. It's a shame as aside from this it would have been a great stay!

The hotel was immaculately cleaned. It was welcoming and well laid out. Self check in/out was very user friendly. Room had everything you would need . Bed was sooo comfortable, nice bathroom and had tea/coffee facilities in the room. Common area in the hotel were well maintained and cleaned to a high standard. I travelled with my 8 year old daughter for a concert in the 3arena, which is directly across from the hotel which i found essential when.travelling with a child. We did not eat in the restaurant we choose to eat in 'rubys' which is a.few doors down and is delicious. Definitely would recommend the gibson in general but if visiting the 3arena its a must. Also my daughter really enjoyed the glass elevator.

Disliked: - ongoing building/redecoration work and strong smell (paint or glue?) in the reception area, - rooms and corridors need to be updated: there were black stains/mould on the walls/ceilings, - there are only two lifts, you may have to wait for a while during busy periods. Overall: OK, but I would not recommend it to a friend as a 4-star hotel.

The bed was so uncomfortable but the worst part was Everytime me or my partner moved the springs were so old the bed made an awful noise so I was constantly being woken up during the night and barely got any sleep. We left really early to check out as all we wanted to do was go home and sleep after an awful night.

Great, the staff were v good, floor service on the bar floor , at 1130pm was not great, In 606 the bed base needs to be changed, creaky. Overall loved the convenience for the 3 arena Overalls

Super convenient if watching a show at the 3Arena. The hotel is a literal stone throw. 10 seconds from hotel front door to 3Arena entrance. Luas red line goes direct from Heuston station right to the front of the hotel. The rooms are nothing fancy, but they are clean. Main problem is the room was way too warm and the temperature controls weren't very effective window could not be opened. The staff were very nice and tried to help and we got a change of room, but the same issue persisted (though it was a little less warm thankfully). I would go back for another 3Arena show thanks to the convenience, but wouldn't stay here if objective is to visit Dublin for a few days.

Very close to 3 Arena for concert. Food and drink options nearby. Paid parking available. They gave us a accessible room for some reason but it was fine. Not much nightlife around. Hotel is right across from the Luas train, super easy to hop on and get downtown. I only am giving 3 stars because our sleep was terrible. Just arrived from a long overnight flight and they accidentally assigned our room to someone else. That person tried to get in at 1am including trying to remove the chain from the outside! The front desk did not discover the error until late the next day so had to give new keys not knowing if it was a random person trying to get in rooms. Was unsettling that they could not figure that out in the middle of the night….they felt badly of course but our one night of rest before moving on did not go well!

Spacious room, very good quality for a 4 star hotel. Receptionist was not practicing his duties towards us and gave us someone else’s room, but the supervisor came and was very helpful and sorted it out.

Pamela at the coda for breakfast buffet was phenomenal. She went out of her way to ensure my boyfriend and I had felt welcomed and like family. All of the staff were so accommodating truly. Perfect location for using the Luas to get around Dublin. Would absolutely stay here again!

If I could give negative stars, I would. The Gibson Hotel in Dublin was by far the worst hotel I’ve stayed at during my trip to Ireland – and this is my 5th hotel here. Every other property I visited was warm, welcoming, and accommodating. The Gibson was the exact opposite. From the moment I arrived, the staff were cold, unhelpful, and unwelcoming. At check-in, I was handed a key with barely a word and simply pointed toward the lift. No offer to assist with luggage, no information about the hotel, no sense of hospitality whatsoever. Throughout my stay, whenever I passed through the lobby, staff either ignored me entirely or deliberately looked busy to avoid interacting. I even sat in the lobby for a while just observing, and it wasn’t just me – the staff treated all guests this way. Aloof, uninterested, and uncaring. Hospitality is supposed to be about warmth and service, but here it felt like guests were an inconvenience. This hotel was the least accommodating, least hospitable, and least welcoming of my entire trip, and it wasn’t even close. Ireland is known for its friendliness and warmth – but you will not find it here. Do yourself a favor and stay literally anywhere else. I strongly do not recommend the Gibson Hotel.

The red line tram stops outside which goes the 1.5km to the city centre for Euro 2.30. Breakfast is a good hot and cold buffet. Hotel is new.

Bathroom was spacious with a bath/shower. The best bit of our stay was the amazing breakfast, with something for everyone, I’m gluten free and I was spoilt for choice!

Our stay was comfortable but I was disappointed with the service in the hotel restaurant. Firstly two of the staff who were serving us couldn't understand what we were saying, one waiter walked away not even realising we were asking a question and another waiter didn't understand what we were asking for off the menu. Also 10/15min wait for our drinks order and we had to ask a 2nd time for them .Thirdly, our bill was brought to us before we were even finished. I just think the hotel has an obligation to it's customers to employ staff who have a very good level of english especially if they are dealing directly with customers. The restaurant is way over priced - overall a bad experience in the restaurant.

Check in was a bit messy as the self service/on line doesn't speed things up and after following the instructions that once pin was received we could checkin but turned out we couldn't as I had booked a birthday package and this wasn't allowed for. So had to wait another 30 minutes. Birthday package wasn't what I expected for €45..1 balloon, 4 macrons and a bottle of prosecco...we went to concert and ordered room service. I appreciate that concerts put additional pressure on services but to wait an hour and a half and for it to be cold is not acceptable considering the prices charged. The Gibson is fantastic for concerts at 3 arena but I won't do extras again

Stay for the Sam fender concert , the 3 arena, a stone throw away so location was excellent. the luas line (tram) to take you into the city centre directly outside hotel. few nice places to eat nearby also. “Amazing room, very spacious, bed was so comfy and the bathroom was lovely. Great bar/restaurant and breakfast was excellent, great choice Staff were really friendly. i def will be back

We stayed for 2 nights as we were attending a concert at 3Arena for which the hotel is ideally situated. Staff friendly and helpful and hotel and room very clean. The only issue we found was the air con was very loud so could not use it at night. However, this would not put us off staying again if attending the Arena.
