Overall a good stay. The hotel is in a convenient location within walking distance to many local attractions. Unimpressed with the restaurant though...I ordered a burger and fries and they were delivered to the wrong table. After several minutes, the server realized her mistake and went and took back the burger from the wrong table. She returned two minutes later with what was susposed to be my burger. I asked her if it was fresh or if she had just redelivered it to me. She told me it was fresh but i called her in it and told her no it wasn't because it was cold! She was caught in her lie, so she returned it to the kitchen. A few minutes later, the manager appeared with another burger and fries, that frankly I'm still not convinced was fresh and told me sorry, but everyone makes mistakes. It's not the mistake i was upset with, but the dishonesty!

Safe, secure underground parking. Great staff, really pleasant place to stay.

I wouldn't deter anyone not to stay there. They are doing renovations and some mornings the painters were right outside the door. We were staying there to see a college American football game. The game was over after 8pm and when we went to eat at the hotel the restaurant was closed. This isn't the first year they held a College football game so it would have been nice if they extended their restaurant hours. The restaurant staff was amazing and we did enjoy them when we dined there. There were wheels on the bed and we were on hard wood floors. Other than that, the rooms were fine and we did enjoy our time there.

Staff was very helpful with check in. Room was comfortable. Parking is convenient but expensive. The room has an odd shower with no door or curtain; the bathroom floor fills up with water when you take a shower.

Staff friendly.... The bar and grill needs some work.. coffee machine was broken and there was no food being served when we wanted lunch. Seems a waste of space ...

The hotel is beautiful and the cleaning was great but I think the customer service overall was minimum, no engaging with the customer. We were not able to dine at the restaurant at 9 pm even though they were closing at 9:30 .

Checking in with regards to parking was a bit of an ordeal. We were glad parking was available (even if it was an extra cost) but directions on how to access the parking were limited and took three visits back to the desk to get it sorted out. Very glad I am active and have no mobility issues!

Lovely property and the room was spacious. The parking was difficult as the gate wasn’t functioning for part of the trip. The dinner was okay but I’d recommend going to other restaurants in the area for price/taste.

I have stayed in a lot of hotels using Expedia and have NEVER felt the need to leave a negative review, however potential paying customers must be warned. Staff were the rudest me and my partner have ever experienced in a hotel. The bar was closed at 10:30 as the staff were ‘stressed’ and the manager ‘wanted a break’ and when questioned they acted as if they were doing us a favour by reopening until 11:30 - the bar is supposed to open until 1am - something we paid an above average price to access as a part of the hotel’s limited amenities. Our room was clean however other guests we were staying with had make-up stained bedsheets, these would wash out and wouldn’t permanently stain… The hotel itself wasn’t in bad condition other than that and the staff who clean the rooms seemed polite, the bar staff however on Sunday 6th August were APPALLING, especially the female manager (we were actually nervous to use the bar as it seemed like such a huge inconvenience). Please do not stay at this hotel, the staff working on 6th August must be spoken to by owners or ortherwise dealt with as we, and I am sure many others, will NEVER be back due to these workers.

I am not one to leave reviews, especially poor ones. However, I was pretty disappointed with our stay here. I’ve done quite a bit of traveling and this was my first stay in Ireland And so I did not know what to expect. Upon landing early morning and arriving at the hotel with two young children, we had asked if our room would be available prior to regular check in time. To our luck, the staff was supportive and providing us with a room with only a few minutes wait. Of course we’re happily relieved and grateful for this. That said, the room was unpleasantly ready for us. The sink faucet felt as if it was ready to fall off every time we attempted to turn it on. The toilet would barely flush with significant pressure placed on the flusher. And would flush only a few times with every use. And oh the dust. It was very obvious that perhaps this was a room that had been neglected or inhabited for quite some time. There was visible dust in the corners of the room. When looking for my daughter’s small toy that had fallen to the floor near the bed, it was a gross spectacle of dust under the bed. I can understand if there is not enough room to get underneath a bedframe, in this case, there was significant room and the beds had wheels that allowed the beds to be easily rolled away from the wall. Given our trip is in the summer and that it was a cooler one, we were thankful for the weather because there was no air conditioning in the room to our surprise. Very noisy room&construction.

Great location walkable to everything we wanted to see and do. Our shower was clogged and water overflowed onto the floor. Room could be maintained better

The room is quiet and comfortable with draperies that fully darken the room. The toilet did not flush properly, but was seen to quickly. The grab bar in the shower was rusted and pulling away from the wall. Housekeeping staff were friendly. The front desk and restaurant staff were not as friendly, much less than usual for Irish hospitality. I would not eat the food here again. The rate is the lowest in the area. The location was ideal.

Staff was pleasant upon arrival. Unfortunately, our room was dirty (eg. food splatter on the wall in clear sight). The bathroom sink faucet was loose and detached from the sink. We asked for another room and the staff was helpful. The assistant manager showed me another room which appeared to be better. Unfortunately, the bathroom garbage was still from a previous guest and the bed sheet had a dirty mark/stain on it. To top it off, the shower water temp wouldn’t change and we had to have rather hot showers. We were extremely frustrated, as we were very uncomfortable, which didn’t get the Dublin portion of our trip off to a good start.

I would have been accepting the fact that A) the carpet in our room was stained and could use a proper wash, B) there was someone else's hair on the sink upon our arrival and C) the room was outrageously warm 24/7 even with windows opened and no AC available BUT the fact that there was no warm water whatsoever in the first morning when we woke up..I have worked in customer service for 7 years in the past and when we had a complaining customer we were trying to give at least free merchandise if there was an issue on our side. What did Maldron do about the freezing water in the shower? Asked us to wait for 10 minutes and let them know if the issue continued. I called their reception after 15 minutes and was told that they can't fix their water boilers without an engineer. So we were paying 250€ for the night to have a freezing cold shower which I have never had to experience before even in a hostel. I asked twice for any sort of a refund and when checking out all I got was an apology. No voucher, no discount, no nothing! Like this is disgraceful from a 4 star hotel..I will go anywhere else in the future! Had a million times better experience while staying in Blu Radisson in May.

Shower drain was plugged and bathroom flooded. Breakfast was decent. Beds were comfortable but small.

I have three words to describe this place: dark, dank and dirty. This is essentially an overpriced Motel 6. As soon as I opened my room door, I was hit with a mustiest odor ever. The room smelled stale, like there was stagnant water nearby. The housekeeping is abysmal and they don't thoroughly clean. When I checked in, I immediately spotted multiple stains on the wall (looked like old food) that weren't cleaned. I also killed a bug on my first night which left a mark and that mark stayed there my entire stay. The bathroom was rotten. The shower and bathroom floor were moldy and full of mildew and dark stains. There were also other small things that annoyed me: they didn't provide body lotion or a hair dryer which is weird for a supposed 4-star hotel. The street was pretty loud but that was the least of my concerns. I can't believe I payed $250/night for such an absyssmal place.

Location is a bit far from shops and restaurants. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The room was basically clean but when I had to move the bed to pick up something, it was very dirty. Seems not cleaned for quite a while.

We had booked two rooms for 2 nights. The hotel was apparently busy and they gave us 2 rooms at the ground floor; one was windowless and the other on had a window looking at some inside space of the hotel. A few issues arise here. 1. I d understand if it was actually a busy weekend and they gave us one bad room. But getting two bad rooms is poor hotel management. 2. they shoudl stop moneitising altogether from that windowless room, it s ridiculous, turn it to a storage room. It was a very grim affair Also, the floors werent mopped properly and my feet were getting dirty when walking barefoot.

The room was large but there was no air coditioning. When you're paying more than £150 per night, you expect airconditioning. Bedding was also adequate. Not great for the price.

Very convenient area in Dublin and the rooms were well-appointed, but unfortunately our stay overall was less than ideal. Neither of our party's rooms were airconditioned (although some of the rooms in the hotel are) and they ran out of fans. My husband and I were on the third floor facing an interior courtyard, so we could get some relief from open windows, but our moms' room was on the first floor facing the street, so they got poor sleep all three nights due to extensive noise. Luckily, the heat is probably not an issue most of the year (we were there in July). Our stay was also poorly timed as the hotel was doing a lot of interior updates (painting, repairs, etc.), which I appreciate that the property has to do at some point; we just happened to be staying there when we needed to dodge workmen and step over materials left in the hallways. The issue that we feel should be addressed is that the front desk staff was unfriendly and appeared rushed during check-in (even though no other guests were waiting) and later seemed "put out" when we asked for help with some room issues (TV not working in one room and bathroom lights not staying on in another room).

Hotel is nice, however travelers need to be aware there is not AC , not a knock on the hotel, but I assumed it when booking. Also, I had a room directly next to Pearse street, lots of noise all night long.

The front desk staff were very nice. I arrived early due to my flight and they tried to accommodate me as soon as they could. I understood that I was much earlier than check in time. My room was nice, however, there were no windows to the outside. There was one window to an internal mini courtyard. Even though the room was big, I felt very claustrophobic not being able to see outside or open a window for fresh air. I couldn’t see that it was raining and had to go back and change. In the future, I would not want a room with no real window. The bar/restaurant was nice, but I had an issue Saturday evening. I was waiting to order a drink, but the bartender ignored me and kept talking everyone else’s order instead. A very rude woman just walked up after I was waiting for 15 minutes and he served her first. I said something to her and she just rolled her eyes and made a snide remark. I was very insulted and left without buying anything. I blame the bartender the most because he knew I had been waiting and still took her order first. It was extremely rude. That really ruined my entire experience there. I don’t think I would stay there again after that. No apology from him. I checked out the next morning.

Conveniently located. Check in was smooth. Room was clean but the bathroom door lock was broken. Since the room was on the street side on level 2, there was a lot of noise specially traffic and people at night specially on Friday night. Other than that a good hotel to stay in.

Good location for the stay, slightly off the beaten path but still within walking distance of the popular sites. The breakfast was decent, the main issue we had was that the room was a tad bit hot and the train station was nearby so it was quite loud during the day. Our room looked over the main road so the road traffic through the night was a bit tough but they had fans and that helped with the noise and the heat. The staff was nice, they provided everything we asked for.

The hotel was very well located for walking into Dublin and access from the airport buses. The room was quiet and beds comfortable, water plentiful and hot and the room service was good. What made the stay special for us was to be greeted by cheerful, smiley Colin every morning at breakfast time. This was in contrast to the staff at reception who rarely smiled and were austere. We would have eaten our evening meal more often at the hotel but the menu did not change and some parts were unavailable, and also it could be quite a noisy environment not a restaurant environment.

Prompt check in. Helpful staff. Onsite restaurant. Add in breakfast was cost and time effective. Restaurant food was good. Onsite bar. Breakfast was menu and buffet and quick and tasty. Room was comfortable and clean. We were able to do early checkin. Front desk could call for taxis.

The staff were absolutely excellent. The fellow who checked us in was really friendly and great about showing us how to get to the parking. Regrettably I did not get his name. Gabriel went above and beyond to help us book a tour. We were so appreciative of his help. Colin is a gem. We loved chatting with him at breakfast. All so friendly!

The staff was great. They let us check in early after our flight was changed. Room was clean. They price was decent. The hotel was ideally located to a lot of places.

Check-in was anything but the friendly Irish welcome we received everywhere else we travelled in Ireland. I don't know why the concierge seemed annoyed having to check us in. You'd be hard pressed to find an Irish person within walking distance, so if you're going for an authentic experience this might not be the place. Perhaps if traveling for business, it's fine. Oh, the heat was on full blast with no way to turn it off, and the double set of windows only opened a bit with no draft.

I stayed here while my wife was in a near by hospital it was very convenient good big clean warm room well appointed and good sized shower. Staff were very friendly and helpful

Such a lovely hotel in a great location. Very close to Charlotte's quay and board gais theatre. Quiet clean hotel with good staff. And only 20 mins walk into Grafton street.

Location was within walking distance to restaurants and stores. However I didn't feel safe in the area, a lot of noise kids gatheredin front of the hotel. Kids with fireworks almost every evening, one in particular was really bad they were aiming at the hotel.

Really nice hotel. Just an 8min walk from Dublin Express Trinity stop (if thats how ur coming) Catch busses into town - Bus 4 or C4 or not too far walk from Fleet Street where the famous temple bar is and some lovely places and allyways to visit. Staff are nice and polite, reception same and they can book you taxis if needed. Rooms nice and well maintained. When i come back i'll be looking to stay here again. I recommend this place.

Great location within walking distance to Trinity College, the Bord Gais Theater, the DART train station, many restaurants. I was able to check in early due to an early inbound flight. They will also keep your bags if you're room isn't ready early. They have a restaurant where I enjoyed a satisfying breakfast a few mornings. The room was nice and comfortable. The mattress could use an upgrade, but I slept fine overall. Definitely would stay there again.

Nice property and walkable to Temple Bar area and other locations in dublin.

Nice clean hotel, short walk into the centre of Dublin. Area immediately around hotel seemed a little dodgy but we didn’t have any problems .

Very little variety of eggs only scrambled on display , pastries were gone by 10 o clock and orange juice was also empty

Really comfortable room, quiet hotel, great lunch and dinner options and a fantastic breakfast. The staff member who looked after us at lunch and dinner (gentleman with white hair) was particularly friendly, but everyone was great.

Our room smelled of stale smoke The curtain was broken and falling down on one side There was lots of small moths flying about the room all the time Dirty tissues and used face masks were discovered under the beds Went for breakfast 20 mins before it was finished and they had no pastries or croissants left. Nobody could get us any either as they said breakfast was over. We still had 20 minutes though.Sausages were sour too!! Very disappointing visit overall Certainly not a 4 star

A really fantastic stay working in Dublin. Staff are absolutely lovely, lunch and dinner great and a brilliant gluten free selection for breakfast for me- thank you so so much!
