Stayed 3 nights

Had room number 3104 in the older building shower and wash basin were blocked had to turn shower off to save tray overflowing. I am in the construction industry and pulled out the grid and trap but pipework is blocked, very noisy at night with footsteps heard from the room above and fire doors closing actual shaking the headboard on the bed as it is attached to the wall, none of the corridor fire doors closing actuality have latching speed closers as they all slam when you let go of them instead of slowing before final close you would expect this in a Travellodge not here very disappointed with the room stayed 3 nights and 2 of them was bad also traffic noise from outside S only has secondary glazing. Have taken this up with the staff so let’s see if they act on it

Location was great, very convenient to access the city. The room was very basic for the price point. Also had requested an upgrade room and arrived well after 3pm and was not ready, so was downgraded. Would possibly stay again if no better alternative accommodation available.

Upon arrival , I requested a quiet room, the staff then upgraded our room to a large room with king bed. However, it faced the street. Despite double windows you could hear cars. Each night I used 10 hours of white noise on you tube and slept fine. The buffet breakfast was great. The daily room cleaning was great.
