Courtyard San Francisco Airport Burlingame

The restaurant food was excellent and the hours for the restaurant was fantastic!! My son had surgery in the San Francisco area and having the restaurant to fulfill our meals after doctor appointments and surgery really reduced the stress of obtaining healthy meals.

I was asked will I being need a parking pass. Never mentioned that it would be a fee to park. Outrageous

It was a good room. The reason why I give it more poor reviews is because Expedia didn’t say that there was a 30.00 daily parking fee. Sucked big time.

Disliked that breakfast unavailable until 7am on weekends. I had to catch a flight Sunday morning and left on the shuttle before 7am. I also believe that $30 parking per day is too expensive. Clean facility, kind staff, nice rooms, close to airport, free shuttle to airport all a plus.

Stay was fine. Nice hotel and price was good. However, they charged me the outrageous $25 for parking in their almost empty lot. I thought the hotels. Com amount included all tax and fees. Guess not. Pity

$25 surprise parking fee is terrible.

The hotel room was great. The bed was very comfortable along with the gym equipment downstairs. The bathroom was a bit awkward to use and the door sneaked every time something opened the glass door to shower in the shower room. Other than that, I had a great stay overall.

Outstanding for the price, located close to a fancy place I "USE TO STAY AT" This is now my new spot for a lot less money. Only thing is there is no pool.

Everything okay… just they don’t have the self-laundry services, if they have such services, it would be better…

The hotel itself was fine, water temperature wasn't hot enough. There's an abandoned hotel right next door which made the area really creepy, then a sewage plant further down. Nowhere to eat nearby without driving a few miles, though the in-house bistro was reasonably priced with very generous portions. The hummus was excellent.

I was assigned an accessible room due to almost full which is fine for me but when I went to my room there were a few ants in the bathroom.. I did advise front desk and they said they would take care of it right away. Hotel bed is very comfy but if you have a really early morning flight, do not take the shuttle, almost missed my flight at 6am since shuttle starts at 445am. But all in all everything was ok 3 out of 5

It was clean and convenient to our events. On the other hand, it was not practical to walk to any stores in Burlingame. Moreover, the wind was constantly howling. I do not remember wind noise being a problem the last time I stayed at an SFO airport hotel.

The free wifi is awful. There is no bottle of water on check-in and the refill station in the fitness center literally trickles. When the room cleaners came around, they did a great job, but in six days, they came twice. The coffee in the room is dreadful, though you can get Starbucks in the lobby for $5. That said, the property is newer, and the staff was nice.

Clean, comfortable stay for the night before an early morning flight. Unfortunately, the shuttle to the airport only runs every 35 minutes and did not start in time for us to take it.

The housekeeping at this facility was pretty poor. The bathroom had hair on the floor and more hair stuck to the bottles of conditioner and body wash in the shower. When I called to complain, the front desk manager simply said "Huh." He said he would speak to housekeeping and have them come the next morning (it was late) and clean the room. They did not clean the room.

The rooms are well appointed and comfortable. The location is convenient to the airport and the center of town (Burlingame).

The heating/air conditioner fan is very loud and I was unable to turn it off and it would come on every 30 minutes for five minutes while trying to sleep.

Had a very nice one night stay prior to flying out of SFO. Property is newly renovated. Room was very comfortable and quiet. Enjoyed a nice meal at the bar and the service was great. My only frustration was that the shuttle to the airport started after when I needed to head to the airport so a $30 trip to the airport was unexpected.

Our toilet made a very loud noise whenever we flushed it & also the shower door scraped along the bottom loudly when opening & closing it. Both need to be fixed

Bed was amazing

Had a room near the elevator and was woken up by elevator bell all night. Fan in the room didn't work so room was stuffy

I was on the 4th floor. It was quiet and surprisingly a big room

The WiFi was not workable despite being advertised as free. We ended up using my MiFi instead. The heating and AC unit in our room was touchy - either too hot or too cold.

We got a room here for a long layover and our only requirements were a shuttle and sleep after coming off a long international flight. We had just missed the shuttle so we had to wait 30 mins for it to come around again. The Courtyard shares their shuttle with 3-4 other hotels and it did dropoff at every other hotel first, even passing our hotel on the way. We arrived at the hotel about 45 minutes after we called for the shuttle. The room key was ready and waiting, but we were still required to checkin at the desk at midnight. The room was hot so we turned on the HVAC unit to cool it off, but it was loud. Our beds were comfortable and the room was mostly clean. But unfortunately, there was a horrible whistling noise coming from the window all night long. Also, the walls were so thin that when we finally fell asleep I was woken up by the sound of a man peeing in the next room (yes it was that loud) and then a loud flush. To top it off, the coffee shop they advertise was not open when we left for the airport at 5:30am. Overall, we paid full price to sleep 5 hours in this hotel and barely got any sleep at all. I wish we had chosen another hotel because other than the availability of a late night shuttle, we did not get what we were hoping for.

The front desk person was super polite with someone on the phone who ended up threatening to slap him if he was lying about the line at 9pm at the desk. I felt for him. The lady was super rude and kept saying I’m nice but I have limits and yelled at him for asking what I needed as we thought she was done. He kept saying that is something I the manager will have to help you with. They got me hot water and were super nice at the coffee stand too!

We booked the room with free breakfast but when we checked in, the hotel staff told us that breakfast was not included. It took them about 2-3 hours to finally confirm the breakfast was included after we escalated to Expedia. I hope their system can be improved to be able to see the correct booking information.

I believe his name was Rene.We didn't know that they stopped serving breakfast at 10am and we arrived 5 minutes before that, and he was happy to serve us. He also said that he hoped to see us again soon. He knows how to make the guests feel welcome. thank you!

This hotel was recently updated and the lobby and room felt clean and fresh. The small cafe adjacent to the lobby has a decent menu, good seating area, and friendly staff. However the shuttle service from the airport was really frustrating with the driver pulling in and out as we arrived without stopping for passengers and no shuttle for another hour even though the schedule showed pickup times every half hour. The phone number on the webpage for the schedule took you to a frustrating phone tree and when you did get a live person they appeared to be working from their home. They were barely engaged in the conversation with children screaming in the background and knew nothing about the shuttle busses. After an hour wait, we finally got to the hotel and let the front desk staff know of the issue which they clearly wanted nothing to do with except to say that we should have made a reservation for the shuttle which isn’t stated during the room reservation process. Too bad, as not sure we would risk staying at this location again if we had to rely on a shuttle service.

It was in a good location for needing to catch an early flight. Clean and comfortable. My only negative was that the check in person and check out person (different people) were challenged with any question or request for help that obviously was not standard or normal. when we checked in - I had lost my purse - he seemed so unsure what to do. We had the other person offer theirs but they seemed like they didn't understand what we were asking. Had to spell it out. When checking out - the person handed us a folio with $30 of food/bar charges. We hadn't used either service. When I said this clearly isn't ours and perhaps the wrong room, the person just looked completely clueless and was like "well that's what it says." I had to ask her to check several times as I insisted we never even got near the bar nor ate anything in the hotel. She finally realized it was the wrong room. Obviously both worked out, but both seemed completely freaked out that something out of the norm happened, and the responses were not guest friendly. Would still return. Lovely place over all.

Did not stay. Was admitted to hospital the night before hotel stay. Called the hotel to cancel reservation but got no response from customer relations. No response from chat conversation. Was told an email is forthcoming but never received one. It's been 5 days since and have not received a response form Hotel.com nor the Courtyard about my message/concern.

Overall, stay served its purpose. The location was centrally located for my needs, to the airport and to downtown Burlingame. I wish the shuttle to the airport ran earlier due an early flight we had.

The location is fabulous being close to SF International Airport- We drove to the Bayside View Trail and enjoyed watching the planes fly in and out over the water - the property itself was lovely. Staff are friendly and very accommodating. I was able to enjoy the town of San Mateo as well as drive over to the wharf in San Francisco-Perfect 10☆☆☆☆☆
