The room was very tiny, don't get confused about the picture in the website. The room doesn't even have a closet, extremely painful if you visit the beaches and stay at this apartment. No laundry in the facility, there is one laundromat in 2 blocks but they bill for 21lbs of clothes minimum (pathetic).

This property was bad ...no elevator

Great place close enough to bars, resturants and the beach. The room was very nice and super clean with excelllent features. The parking included is absoutely cluch! Leslie was an excellent host, very professional and accomidating. I had a great stay and will be back if I am ever in S Beach again.

Refresh was not done after 3 days and the excuse they gave is “system issue “ which is unacceptable. I stayed for 5 nights with 2 kids and imagine staying there for 6 days without refresh and there was no communication from their side. The property is okay, not that great. Parking is very inconvenient which is 2 blocks away. Non stick pans are very old and crusty and looks like not replaced for years.

Had to fill out registration paperwork on our phone again. Stairs and no elevator. Everyone walking by the room could be heard.

The parking was challenging. There was no legal parking where I could go into the lobby and get my parking pass, for a building two blocks away. There was a line to check in, and I had just driven up from the Everglades, so I was stressed. I will say the lady at the desk handled the situation with aplomb. But it is not convenient to park.

The property is great, good communication, the only thing is that the parking is like 7 minutes walking, but other than that the place was cozy.

There was only one receiption working on site from 10am-6pm, otherwise there is nobody around to help. all cleaning ladies don't understand english. Got a dirty sheet with blood but had to wait for second day to change it by ourselves. small room with smell, won't stay there anymore.

Overall this place was great. Very convenient. We were there for one night but it was perfect. Very close to everything and also was super clean and super quiet. Very important for a nice vacation. Will return.

The place is nice and well located, but there was SO MUCH hair and dirt that I would not recommend it.

walking into the room it was obvious that there had been water damage that was not completely fixed. the room was extremely "moist" and the floors were very slick, as if you were working in a greasy kitchen. There was a dehumidifying bag on top of the shelf and when we opened the window to try and air it out, there was no screen which seemed very sketchy. we also weren't sure how "clean" the bedding was going to be based off the moisture in the room and both took showers first thing when we woke up. there was a massive amount of dust/lint on top of the fridge under the kitchenette counter. the communication, texting, was delayed and obviously automated responses rather than an actual person or smart AI tech. i would definitely NOT stay here again, nor recommend it even on a budget, especially if you have any sensitivity to the possibility of mold.

When looking for a place to stay, the most important thing is cleanliness—because at the end of the day, you need to feel safe where you’ll be sleeping, showering, and using things as you would at home. Everything else is secondary. We booked Baybreeze Apartments by Lowkl after reading a review saying it was “super clean” (plus it had good ratings). When we arrived, both rooms we booked looked fine (not like the pictures, but decent), but it seemed the beds weren’t changed after the previous guests. We found hair on the blankets, stains on the sheets, hair in the shower, and worst of all, dry saliva on a pillow. We didn’t notice right away because we dropped our luggage and went out to eat. Later, when setting up the bed for our toddler, we found everything. Since there’s no receptionist after 6pm, we had no one to contact, so we had to go out to buy blankets and disinfectant to get through the night. The next day I reported it, and staff told me they don’t clean rooms during guest stays but would send someone to change the blankets—which they did, and nothing more. I even overheard a cleaner say, “people must be sneaking in,” which made me worry about safety. Nights were noisy from the room above, the mini fridge rattled loudly (I recorded it), and the whole building smelled unpleasant. I hate leaving negative reviews, but this was our experience. Apart from location, everything else was disappointing. We will not return to Baybreeze or any “by Lowkl” property.

The staff at the front desk were great!!!! Very helpful especially Maddie. The negative though, we stayed five nights and had to take out our garbage when we heard the custodian outside in the hallway. We had to ask for fresh towels. And during our stay the housekeeper NEVER cleaned our room. Literally not once!

Room was dirty, roaches and ants crawling on the walls

When we arrived and got into our room there were dead and living bugs everywhere! The window sills were disgusting and bugs crawled on the bed. We went to the front to ask for a refund and to be able to leave and showed them photos and instead they gave us another room. That room had no working AC! So we just left and figured we’d cut out losses and stay elsewhere. We requested a refund and they have continually refused. We have another night booked for our return from our cruise that we are trying to cancel and they don’t want to allow that despite the terrible lack of cleanliness and working equipment in the rooms.

Worst WIFI ever!!!!

tried to grt us to accept a room with a door even the desk clerk had to try 4 or 5 times to open. finally gave us another room. NO HOT WATER IN SINK OR SHOWER.

This was one of the worst stays of my life. Parking is 3 blocks away. There is no where to load/ unload at the location. The room was so small. The bed was advertised as a king. The bed was a double pushed into the corner of the room. You couldn't sit comfortable on the toilet. The toilet paper holder pushed into my arm. I had to run the shower for 20 minutes to get water that wasn't ice cold. The electronic locks stopped working and we had to use a lock box to get into our rooms. It was HORRIBLE!

We had room 217, everything is good until we wanted to turn off the central fan light but could not find the swtich nor the remote (if any) anywhere...and the light was so strong that we had a hard time sleeping.

It was clean and great location but the ceiling fan lights wouldn’t turn off so we couldn’t run the fan when we slept and it too warm. The cooling system didn’t seem to cool down very well. The tv worked but w le couldn’t watch anything on it.

No TV for my entire stay because no remote, lady at front desk very nice but the management above her is very unfair, she even told me "this is unfair I wish i could do more"

Decent place if you want something cheap. It was well decorated and had everything you need. It’s just a little small and the construction areas around the property were a little noisy (but that’s not really something the owner can control) Only thing that bothered us was, that there was a couple next to us that ignored the quiet hours with their intimate time. But all in all, it was a good and cheap stay.

Cute spot. Nice for walking around and going to the beach. Tv didn’t work if you’re looking for downtime.

really nice stay for a short trip! easy check in. front desk staff was very helpful. bathroom was super nice, but a little small! it wasn’t an issue for me, though. the free parking was only 5 minutes, and having that included was great. also, lots of quick fast food places close by. definitely recommend for the price! also had a cute patio out front! i think for shorter trips this is a really great choice!

Lost my reservation i made 4 months prior, had no vacancy, unresponsive, took over a week to get ahold of a manager for a refund.

Check in was rough. Partly my fault because of my phone breaking prior to check in. I did not receive any of the texts regarding check in. Once we arrived the gentleman at the desk was not super friendly or helpful. We were not given much information outside of that we should have received an email regarding our room number and code. We did not receive any other information about how the doors lock after 6pm or what the codes were. We had to reach out to customer service via text to wait for instructions. Not terrible but not great when you are stuck outside the hotel at night and just want to go inside... Upon entering the room, we immediately noticed the smell of the room. It's a mix of mold, urine and a vinegar cleaner that is trying to cover the problem up. It is borderline unbearable. We considered just abandoning our room for a hotel that comes from a more corporate establishment. The bathroom shower has pink slim hanging on it, I cleaned myself because my wife was ready to leave. The ceiling fan has dust hanging all over it and immediately destroyed our allergies. The microwave had not been clean between tenants, finger prints and old food was stuck to the front of it. Outside of that you can tell this is an older studio apartment that has been repainted and has some nice decor. The owners of this building did an excellent job with the decor of the building. It looks like a more high end place. Unfortunately they just continue to miss details that would allow them

The new upgrades have made a big difference. It's cozy and nice. I had a problem with a remote control, within minutes a new one was knocking at my door. It can be slightly loud at times, but very convenient location. I recommend it.

I checked in on the 17th Aug 2025. I did not know that there is no front desk after 6:00 pm. So I got to the hotel at 7:00 pm. No one to let me in. No parking pass. No spare bed... Check-in process was a disaster. Once settled in, it was a decent place for the price.

Warning!!! If you are a pampered princess this is not the spot for you! If you have an adventurous spirit and are a flexible person then look no further than the Baybreeze Apartments for your next stay in Miami Beach. The Baybreeze is a sweet, charming and rustic place situated in an excellent location. Staff member Daria was amazing! Very warm, welcoming and authentic. I will be staying here on my next visit.

When we arrived we were locked out due to not receiving a code to unlock the front door. There is no staff at the desk after the hours of 6pm so we were out of luck. The front gate was broken and did not lock. The lady at the front desk was amazing, very friendly and helpful. It was about a 25 minute walk from Miami Beach and lots of local food and shopping close by. However, we would not recommend staying here in the future.

Lovely little apartment, friendly staff. About a 15-minute walk to the beach.

I would save this location and next visit; will definitely be staying again. Meets all the basics and has a lot of nearby places to wxplore
