From the outset we could see this hotel would provide us with a great stay. From the collection of our suitcases to the checkout the staff were all exceptionally helpful, attentive and friendly. We used a number of amenities- swimming pool, sauna, steam room, bar and restaurant and booked airport transfer through reception. All were clean, efficient and so welcoming. We definitely will rebook and highly recommend to anyone.

We were a family of five with three teenagers, and we loved our stay at the InterContinental. The rooms were very spacious. The hotel is very well located near main attractions and right next to a tram station. The breakfast was fantastic. We would stay here again with no hesitation. On the cons side, the indoor pool has no windows and it seems better suited for small children than for adults, and the furniture is getting a bit dated but everything works fine and the hotel is super clean.

The location and view is simply unbeatable. Walking distance from a lot of shops, restaurants, and attractions. Even though the hotel is on the older side, its still well maintained and the buffet breakfast was delicious. Used the pool and it was great as well. Highly recommend and no wonder its the top hotel in the area.

This is the hotel to stay while visiting Budapest. You can't have a better location and a better view. The hotel is located right on the river and next to Chain Bridge and has a beautiful view of the Royal Castle. You will be in a short walking to many attractions and great restaurants. The breakfast was excellent with many food options. Our favorite were potato pancakes and made to order omelets. There is a great pool with perfect water temperature. The outdoor restaurant and a bar have a great view of the river. This hotel has a garage parking and great service. We would definitely stay here again when visiting Budapest in the future.

Lovely hotel overlooking the Danube. Nice bar area and restaurant. Excellent buffet breakfast with a lot of choice. Room was a really good size with a fabulous view. The only negative is that the housekeeping was poor. Room was very dusty when we arrived and daily service wasn't great. This wouldn't stop me recommending the hotel though as everything else was lovely and we thorougly enjoyed our stay.

Super convenient! We ended our Viking River Cruise and wanted to stay an extra night in Budapest. The hotel was just across the street from the dock. Hotel staff were great, especially the concierge. Room was clean, beds comfortable and large bathroom. We had a river view that was spectacular.

I raised my issues with the staff at the front desk. Room wasn’t serviced even though we had put the service room tag on the door. Housekeeping was there on our floor and still didn’t clean it. Towels were in poor quality - one was torn! Raised with the desk staff and no one got back to me. Had to chase on our final day and they offered x2 glasses of wine which was nice but not enough. Power in our room was low so my straighteners and phone did not charge properly. Still yet to see my refund for the 20,000.00 huf deducted on my card for any additional charges to which there were non. Not impressed for a premium hotel brand.

Great location. Maid service was terrible, didn’t make the bed properly just threw the comforter over the top of unmade sheets. Didn’t replace Kleenex tissues, toilet paper Left dirty cups and dishes in the room after being serviced

鎖橋のたもとにあるホテルで予約時に川側の部屋をリクエストしました。部屋からの眺めは最高で宮殿が正面に見え、橋も綺麗に見えます。ホテル自体は新しくはないですが部屋は清潔に保たれ心地よく過ごせました。フロントのスタッフも笑顔で親切に対応してくれました。トラムの駅から降りてすぐなのでブダペストの中心駅からのアクセスも良いです。朝食もその場でカスタマイズして作ってくれるオムレツがあったり種類も豊富で美味しかったです。ただバスルームの鏡に大きなヒビが入ってたのには驚きました。その点を差し引いてもホテルスタッフの対応がとても気持ちよくまた訪れたい、他の人にもお勧めできるホテルでした。

Pros: The location of this hotel is the VERY BEST. The view from our window was unbeatable. Most places of interest are within walking distance. We could see fireworks from our window, it was such a treat! Cons: Our initial room had an issue with the shower. It was very noisy at night with loud music from a near-by club going on until 3-4 am. So we had to move to a higher floor but still got sound pollution in the room. Daily cleaning was fine but not always thorough. It was not always easy to reach the front desk by phone located in the room. There were a few times when se had to give up after the 5th attempt. Overall, it a very nice hotel and we would probably stay there again. Thank you for reading!

We checked in with Anne who was very welcoming and super nice, we booked river view room for our 3 nights stay. Location is the best just in the city center surrounded by the river, and the main attractions and all public transport. Room was specious clean but furniture needs renovation, the bathroom is too small and needs renovation too. Bed mattress was little hard and the soundproofing wasn’t there. It is too noisy from the other rooms and corridor. The view from the window to the river was great. Breakfast was rich and the personnel in the hotel in general were exceptionally nice and welcoming. Special thanks to David and Anne. We had dinner in Arz labanese restaurant too and was delicious. Please renovate the rooms and it shall be the best hotel in Budapest.

The Hotel is in desperate need of a major Reno. The rooms are old, with NO modern features - e.g decent room lighting or electrical sockets.. but this aside great location and very good staff (could not fault).

The location on the Danube cannot be beat. The staff is very well trained, professional and courteous. A shout out to the front desk team for their top notch customer service. My room window was literally framing the Buda castle like a masterpiece. Would highly recommend for a great experience in this jewel of the Danube.

We had an excellent stay at the IHG Budapest. The check-in staff were excellent, and the riverside location right near the chain bridge is excellent. Would highly recommend. The only drawback is that the bathroom was looking a bit tired and could do with some refreshing.

Great place to stay, within reach of town and amenities. Will come back to this hotel any time. Breakfast very nice and recommended. Staff very nice and polite. The hotel’s communication is poor. I tried to contact them several times through the Hotels.com website and received no response; I was only answered after sending an email directly to the hotel. The rooms are small and the bathroom is in bad condition. Despite having paid for breakfast, I was told for two days that it was not included. The only positive point is the view, which is stunning.

I booked a room with twin beds over 6 months before my visit and I had viewed the specific type of room online. These images quite clearly showed seperate beds, with their own headboard. However, what I was given what was quite clearly meant as a double room. Two single beds had been pushed together within the double headboard. The two single beds were covered with a double bed sheet, but then each bed had it's own single duvet cover. I raised this issue in writing via messaging, but this hotel did not even bother to reply. As a customer, I felt disrespected by this non- reply. On check out, I was asked about any issues, to which I reiterated all of the above. Hotel personnel claimed that they could have moved me to a twin room, if they had known about this? I feel they need to improve on getting it right first time and not ignoring written texts that are sent. I have travelled to many hotels around the world and never been treated in such a poor manner.

The room was large with a beautiful view. One of the lights in the room did not work It took two trips to fix it. When I notified the front desk it had not been fixed after the first visit they assured me it had. The reason being the tech said he had fixed it. The tv did not work for our last day. There were incorrect charges on my final bill (should have been charged to another room #). I found some of the front desk staff a little rude when confronted with these shortcomings

Excellent hotel all around. The location is ideal, we walked everywhere. Breakfast was very good, wide selection, including excellent middle eastern options. The concierge was very helpful to help make restaurant reservations, and answered questions about various activities/sites. Our room was wonderful with a beautiful view of the castle. Highly recommend!

Perfekt lokation, hotellet lidt gammelt men rent - service var ikke på til en 5-stjernes standard. Butlere i døren hilste aldrig, rengøring fyldte ikke mini-baren, room-service glemte min bestilling den ene gang, og den anden gang fik jeg noget helt andet end hvad jeg havde bestilt, som lignede noget man fik på en dårlig motorvejs resteplads. Synd når lokationen er så perfekt.

After very long flight, suite room wasn’t ready. Regular rooms were being handed out. Falling asleep in lobby. We had to keep regularly checking with counter for an update. You would think they could let US know? No internet availability. Finally checked in. Thought breakfast was included, it wasn’t. In room, TV worked intermittently. Staff was apologetic regarding issues, but offered nothing to mitigate them. Next time it will be the Four Seasons up the road.

Location, location, location. You cant beat the location of this hotel in Budapest. The tram is right in front of this hotel. The metro is two blocks away. The personell at this hotel are sharp and attentive.The hotel is in very good condition.The lobby is beautiful. The only problem we had was the tub shower. The tub had unusually high sides and was difficult to get in and out of. But aside from this minor difficulty we had a lovely stay at the intercontinetal hotel.

We stayed on the club level but did not enjoy the club level services as our friends were on regular floors. The breakfast was fantastic but the servers have very little if any english skills so we played charades. The lebonese restaurant was slow and one of our guests was a Celiac (gluten intolerant) and we specifically request an appropriate meal. When they brought our meal it was clearly not gluten free. We questioned the server and he promised it was, we pushed back and the chef came out and said he only used "a little flour and soy". We sent it back and her new meal came long after the rest of the group had eaten. In addition, the bar restaurant servers were very aloof and would only serve us if we asked. We noticed that other european customers got very good service. We are Americans (which was obvious) and we could see a clear bias. We understand that we have a miserable president, but they should not assume that all Americans are stupid. We are in the service industry and would have been very good tippers. Sorry for them.

The room was nice and clean. View was beautiful! I didn’t like that they closed breakfast early and it was only buffet at $40 per person which is way too expensive. None of us could eat $40 worth of breakfast food. We went to the coffee shop where they had muffins, however they only had what was displayed which was 2 blueberry and 1 other flavor. Our whole group wasn’t there yet and nothing to eat for breakfast. I would have preferred breakfast à la cart and even if the coffee shop had to provide the breakfast food. It was not good that we had to start our day off where 2 of us had to split a muffin since there wasn’t enough to feed our group.
