This was an exceptional hotel. The beds and pillows are very comfortable. Everyone is very kind and the breakfast is amongst the best I have ever had. The SPA is also a nice one with 2 saunas and 1 steam room. There is also a swimming pool.

Perfekt beliggenhed dvs i gåafstand til mange seværdigheder. Professionelt og meget serviceorienteret personale. Fantastisk morgenmadsbuffet. Lækkert værelse. Indendørs pool forholdsvis lille og 27 grader. Meget tilfredse med opholdet.

The hotel was beautiful and located in a perfect spot. The metro is directly to the right. There is a park in front and major shopping behind. I went during Christmas, and there were multiple Christmas markets right around the corner. Garage parking was easy, the hotel is dog-friendly, the breakfast buffet was ample with a good selection, plus made-to-order options. The staff was all very friendly and helpful. I had read some negative reviews about the Nobu at this location, but everything I ordered was delicious, and the staff there was awesome, as well. The room itself was nicely decorated and had a modern bathroom and comfortable bed. If I had to give a negative, I would say the Chromecast didn't work, but that was my only negative. I would absolutely recommend this hotel, or stay here again.

This hotel is outstanding, but we had the unfortunate experience of arriving during construction so maybe check if still ongoing if you need to take a daytime nap like we did after an overnight flight. The small indoorpool area,was magical as we could see scenic Ferris wheel through the panoramic window windows. The room was modern and very comfortable. The staff was outstanding and very accommodating. It is easy walking distance from the airport bus 100 drop off.

Very good location Decent property. Nobu restaurant on the premise too. But flies in the toilet...complained to the receptionist, but nothing was done about it. Also, some staff can be a bit odd/rude... whilst most others are nice, tbh.

We highly recommend booking directly through the hotel app instead. It’s much clearer and likely a better deal!

Das Hotel Kempinski befindet sich in bester Lage von Budapest. Es ist insgesamt ein tolles Hotel jedoch mit kleinen Schwächen insbesondere was die Sauberkeit im Zimmer anbelangt. Unter einer Kommode lag ein alter Pizzakarton mit Speiseresten und ein paar alte Socken, die wohl von einem der vorhergehenden Zimmerbewohner stammten. Für ein Haus dieser Kategorie und Preisklasse ist das eigentlich inakzeptabel -kann aber mal passieren. Nachdem ich das jedoch zwei mal freundlich an der Rezeption erwähnt habe und man diesen Mißstand innerhalb meines viertägigen Aufenthaltes nicht beseitigen konnte ist blamabel und zeigt dass man es mit der Sauberkeit nicht so genau nimmt, weshalb ich beim nächsten Budapest-Aufenthalt ein anderes Hotel wählen werde.

Hotel was nice but the bathroom was old, outdated and a bit dirty. (Had a long hair in the shower) I’m only 6 feet tall but I had to bend in order to get under the shower head… Otherwise great hotel. But the issues above really bothered me.

It was very pleasant to stay in this hotel. Very friendly staff, very clean. Sometimes I felt like I’m on a cruise where cleaning ladies cleaned our room twice a day. Located conveniently in the center where it is close to many landmarks.

Ao chegar tivemos que aguardar vagar o quarto que só aconteceu as 15:00. No caso não estão errados, pois sabemos o horário do check in. Sò comentando que nao conseguimos entrar antes. Fomos surpreendidos com uma chapange visto que era anivrsario de casamento. Café maravilhoso. Quarto muito bom. Banheiro excelente. Tivemos duas intercorrencias. 1. No periodo da tarde estava tendo uma reforma, que foi até as 18:00 e que nos atrapalhou um pouco o sono da tarde. Também não vejo como culpa deles ou ineficiencia pois era o unico horario que tinham pra fazer e caso fosse em outro horário poderia ser pior. 2. Lençou com pequenas manchas de sangue. Não que fossem usados, mas que a lavagem deles não conseguiu retirar. De toda forma solicitei a troca e eles trocaram de imediato.

Excellent location! The best Christmas market was directly behind the hotel! There were many restaurants and shops within minutes of the hotel. The staff is amazing! Very helpful, professional and knowledgeable! The restaurants were excellent. We only ate dinners, not sure about the breakfast or lunch. The rooms were spacious and well equipped. There was a hot pot, no coffee maker. We were in the 5th floor, courtyard view/street views. I requested a bathtub and got one. The bathroom was large, however, the commode and shower were separate little glass enclosed rooms so if someone is at the sink or in the tub, they see into both the toilet room and shower. That was a bit inconvenient when trying to get ready! I would not share with a friend! The only other complaint was the heat! It was very cold outside but the room was like an oven! The windows only open a few inches which is not enough to cool the room even during the night. The temperature was a problem for us!

The hotel was lovely. Staff were friendly. The room was large. The bed a bit too firm but they put a topper on it and it was better. The only complaint was the set up in the shower. Shower area was very small and the door opened outward so you could put a mat at the door and the water came out from under the door and it was a bit dangerous if you didn't watch your step. Otherwise a lovely hotel.

We stayed at the Kempinski and it was simply perfect! The hotel is stunning, the room was excellent, the location couldn’t be better, and the breakfast was rich, varied, and delicious. Everything about the stay was top-notch and exceeded expectations. The only downside – the pillows. They were really uncomfortable and left us with terrible back pain. Other than that, the experience was absolutely amazing.

The location is good. Housekeeping was good. We had breakfast at Es Deli, and the foods are fair. The worst thing is that Kempinski Hotel did not return the deposit after check-out. It is almost 12 business days, the credit card hold has not been released yet. I have contacted the hotel twice asking about returning depoosit, however no response was given.

Excellent hotel in the heart of Budapest across from the giant wheel. Walking distance to attractions, shopping and dining. Our room faced the wheel. Spacious accommodation with everything that could possibly be needed. Exceptional staff in every department. Would absolutely stay again and recommend!

What a fantastic place to be. Check in, luggage help, concierge services were superb. Room was nice, bed was comfy, lovely "living room" for a mid day pick me up drink. One of the best hotel stays I've had during this trip. Highly recommend!!!

My recent stay at the Kempinski Hotel had its positives, but several aspects fell far short of the luxury standards expected from a 5-star hotel. Disappointing Breakfast Experience The breakfast was underwhelming, with a limited selection that didn’t meet the expectations of a high-end hotel. Even worse, dirty dishes were left uncleared on tables for extended periods. For a premium hotel, this lack of attention to detail was unacceptable. Small Room & Uncomfortable Bed My room was surprisingly small for the price, and to add to the discomfort, the bed was not as plush or supportive as I had hoped. The mattress quality left much to be desired. The hotel porters was not attentive or we had just missed him. We had take our luggage out of our our uber taxi and wheel our large luggages in ourselves. Other than that, the location of the hotel is central to everything. 10min walk in each direction to get to the bridge, opera house, 5min to St Stephen's Cathedral and fine dining.

This is a wonderful high-end hotel. It is centrally located in a very walk-able city. We were a very late check-in & bar was closing but they accommodated our bar visit for over an hour. The staff is outstanding. The concierge appears stiff but he is so excellent at his job. Our connecting river cruise had a mix-up and he worked with us until all was cleared up all the while calming our nerves. He is quite the gem. We did not have breakfast as we chose to enjoy the wonderful pastries offered in the city. The room was exceptionally comfortable, bed linens fabulous, very clean with large bathroom

The perfect hotel for a mini break in Budapest. After lots of research I chose this hotel for location and that was definitely the right choice. It is beside the Ferris Wheel, an underground station, a bus stop (Bus 16 takes you to the Budapest district) and 5-10 mins walk to St Stephen’s Basilica. Check in was smooth. The room was gorgeous, clean and quiet. We had a kid with us so the hotel provided a small dressing gown and slippers, in addition to the two adult sets. The hotel is conveniently location near the subway station. There are several famers restaurants there. There is a park across from the hotel ,and it has a Ferris wheel which offers a lovely view when you take a ride . We stayed there for 2 night, everything is perfect , Overall, I had a great experience staying at this hotel. The doorman was especially caring and always checked on us when we were in the smoking area outside. we enjoyed the good service from hotel . thanks

This hotel is in such a central location. Surrounded by shops and restaurants. The river is a 5 minute walk away and a few tourist spots are within walking distance. We stayed in a Junior Suite that faced the Budapest Ferris Wheel. What a view! The room was recently renovated and we honestly couldn't fault it. The food at the hotel was excellent and I would happily stay there again.

I stayed there with my family. The hotel was clean. The location is great. It’s in the center of everything. It’s a walking distance to the basilica, Buda castle , parliment , synagogue and liberty square . The staff was super nice. Great customer service. They went above and beyond to make sure we got what we needed. The concierge gentleman was so helpful. He made reservations for us. Helped us with our itinerary. The hotel was beautiful and located in a perfect spot. The metro is directly to the right. There is a park in front and major shopping behind. I went during Christmas, and there were multiple Christmas markets right around the corner. Garage parking was easy, the hotel is dog-friendly, the breakfast buffet was ample with a good selection, plus made-to-order options. The staff was all very friendly and helpful. I had read some negative reviews about the Nobu at this location, but everything I ordered was delicious, and the staff there was awesome, as well. The room itself was nicely decorated and had a modern bathroom and comfortable bed. If I had to give a negative, I would say the Chromecast didn't work, but that was my only negative. I would absolutely recommend this hotel, or stay here again.
