Great hotel, modern and well maintained. The hotel has a lovely open court yard which is a nice place to unwind The room was well presented and clean, it had a decent king size bed, tv, coffee/ tea making facilities, wardrobes and a safe. The ensuite was nicely fitted out too. Complimentary tea, coffee and water is available in the foyer which was excellent! Location wise, it is about 10-15 minutes to the chain bridge, the Parliament, and the Jewish Quarter. The main shopping street is literally around the corner from the hotel. Overall a great hotel and location. I would stay herr again.

It’s also conveniently near the airport bus (E100) and within walking distance of the main attractions. Free coffee, tea, green apples, and water are available all day in the lobby, which was a nice touch. The staff were friendly and helpful, and there are secure lockers available to store luggage if you arrive early or check out before your flight. Fashion Street is just around the corner, making it perfect for shopping and exploring the city. Highly recommended!

The hotel is located in the city center, where vehicle access is restricted, so it wasn’t possible to drive directly to the entrance. However, the hotel guided us to park at a near by parking garage and kindly assisted us with our luggage, which made the arrival smooth and stress-free. The staff were helpful and being situated in the town square made it easy to explore the surrounding streets on foot, adding to the charm of our stay. Overall, the staff’s kindness and attentiveness truly enhanced our experience.

We loved this hotel and if we ever go back we wouldn't hesitate to stay here. Location was really great. Everything was very walkable. We were close to the middle of everything. The room was new and clean. It had a great fitness center and we enjoyed the sauna. One of our favorite things was the hot tea area and the filtered hot and cold water. It was nice to look forward to hot tea on such cold days. Everyone was very nice and helpful.

The Emerald Hotel was clean, quiet (Mar-23), well located in city centre. The business area is a desk in reception if you need a quiet area to work in this won’t be the hotel you want to stay in. I upgrade to a superior bedroom from economy and was disappointed that there was no desk or office chair in room to work from. I was disappointed with this. Room was small but very clean and tidy. Bar is open from 5pm and staff are very friendly through the hotel. Breakfast was good. Overall a 3.5 to 4 star.

We had a wonderful stay for 3 nights in a room at the top floor with a large terrace. Breakfast was very delicious and could be enjoyed at the small private garden. Location is perfect with walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Parking was possible in a garage 50m away. We fully recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay in Budapest.

We had a lovely stay at this fabulous hotel. Hotel is spotless and beautifully decorated. Rooms a tiny bit cramped but big enough for a few nights. Lovely breakfast.. we didn’t eat in the restaurant at any other time. Staff are friendly and helpful at all times and the reception is 24 hr. The location of the hotel is brilliant… central and close to many restaurants, bars and the waterfront. A half hour walk to the castle district, similar distance to the parliament building and the citadel. We would definitely return.

Die Unterkunft hat uns mit ihrer tollen Lage sehr gut gefallen. Von hier aus konnten wir fast alle Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß erreichen. Leider wurde unser Zimmer zweimal in der einen Woche beim Reinigen total vergessen, was dann nach Reklamation nachgeholt wurde. Als Entschädigung für die zweite vergessene Reinigung wurde uns dann ein kostenloser Transfer zum Flughafen angeboten, welches uns wieder besänftigte. Ansonsten würden wir das Hotel weiterempfehlen.

The Emerald Hotel is an excellent standard. It was opened around 2021 and has modern facilities and is well equipped. It is beautifully clean and the bathrooms maybe the best we've seen. Great power showers, choice of sprays, very clean and endless hot water, heavenly! The staff are very friendly, polite and helpful. It's in a great location for shopping and accessing the tourist sights. All of which are walkable. I can't recommend highly enough! We had a wonderful stay!

We had a beautiful stay in hotel and site seeing around Budapest Such a beautiful city . The only thing we didn’t like about are room was we had no shower just a shower over the bath .which wasn’t great to wash ur hair with Having to lean over the bath .the room was nice apart from a missing free standing shower I should off noticed this when booking .

We were spending a weekend in Budapest and chose the Emerald because of its central location. Our room had a lovely terrace (shame about the rain😢). The room was a good size and the bed was comfortable. Note there are no coat hooks so there was nowhere to hang our wet clothes. There is a major problem in the bathroom. The large bath was excellent but there is no separate shower. There is a “handheld” shower head but it was impossible to use it without flooding the bathroom. Others have praised the breakfast but sorry, I found it a bit dull and repetitive. All the staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful.

The Emerald hotel was lovely. Very clean, comfortable bed. GREAT location. We could hear the lift shaft in room 424 but we had ear plugs. My only advice if youre a light dleeper would be to take ear buds or ask to be away from the lifts.

The Emerald Hotel was fantastic, we stayed four nights and it was very enjoyable. We had to check in very late the first night, but the staff were very kind and efficient. We woke up to a beautiful room - 14’ high ceilings, very comfortable bed, and a spotless modern bathroom. Everything worked flawlessly and the size of the room made our stay extremely comfortable. I wouldn’t hesitate to return, the hotel is a 5 minute walk to the Chain Bridge, and 10 minutes to St Stephen’s Basilica. Lots to do and see near there too! Thank you to the kind staff, and especially the breakfast crew who put out a fabulous buffet every morning.

Had an issue with the booking to begin with in which the manager helped excellently and ensured we were prioritised and happy with their changes, would recommend to anyone staying here as it is in a great location and the place is lovely, also the staff are all very friendly and helpful - like their manager!

The Emerald Hotel was fantastic, we stayed four nights and it was very enjoyable. We had to check in very late the first night, but the staff were very kind and efficient. Love this hotel! This is our second stay in the same hotel in Budapest… The only downside is that we pre-ordered a taxi from the reception to pick up to the airport at 3am, once we were down, and after waiting then asking her, she said that it was cancelled, which could have been communicated earlier, we were all trying to find ones at 3in the morning, eventually she was able to.

Ideale Lage 5 Minuten zu Fuß von einem großen Verkehrsknotenpunkt (Deak Ferenc Ter) mit zwei Metro-Linien, Straßenbahnen und Bussen entfernt und trotzdem absolut ruhig, weil die Straße keine Durchzugsstraße ist. In nächster Umgebung viele Restaurants und eine große Einkaufsstraße. Die Mitarbeiter*innen an der Rezeption waren immer aufmerksam und hilfsbereit und haben mir gute Tipps gegeben. Die Zimmer sind modern, mit schönen Farben und sehr gemütlich. Ich hatte im ganzen Hotel immer das Gefühl, dass man sich viele Gedanken gemacht hat, es sehr gut auszustatten. Super fand ich auch die Kofferschließfächer im Keller (auch für große Koffer😉).

Emerald Hotel is in an excellent location for sightseeing either on foot or easy access to transport. The hotel decor is attractive and elegant and everything is maintained to a high standard. The staff on Reception and in the restaurant are polite, friendly and extremely helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

It is hidden away alongside a church in a one way road . The rooms look into a small courtyard and at the side of the church so if noise bothers you this is your place . Wonderful and very helpful staff , very comfy rooms with all facilities, full choices for breakfast , a bar . Great location for walking to all main attractions especially shops , fashion street 2 mins away. Perfect rooftop bar also 2 mins away

This was easily one of the best values for a hotel that I have ever stayed at. The room with the outdoor terrace was amazing and the room was very spacious. I would highly recommend a stay here if you come to Budapest. The included breakfast was amazing and the staff were very friendly and helpfull! Five star rating for me!

Very impressed with this hotel. The location was absolutely perfect. Walking distance to everything you could want. Rooms and showers were great as well. Friendly service. Breakfast was good although they could have done with a better process for sharing utensils when serving from the buffet. Felt a little unhygienic when sharing the same utensil for multiple dishes. The toaster could do with being upgraded as it barely worked.
