Clean, nice hotel even during construction of the lobby. Nice to have room cleaned every day. Nice staff. Nice pool, spa, and steam room. Very close to downtown.

Room was nice and clean. Hotel has construction going on which makes entry and the middle of the hotel a bit awkward. Arrived a little early and got the standard, "4 pm check in, we will text when the room is ready". Never received a text and came back at 5. Took a bit for them to find a room ready and said we could get a late check out for the delay. Day before check out I requested late checkout. The clerk asked what time and I said 1pm. She shot back, the best I can do is noon. Like it's a negotiation or something. If one hour later is the only option why didn't she just say that. Staff were going through the motions. Typical for Banff, summer workers from far away working to make money to ski in the winter. Customer service is not the top priority for many of them. Expected better for the price of this hotel.
