The location is excellent, yet the hotel itself feels like a spacious, peaceful retreat within the city. The grounds and rooms are beautifully maintained, and the large pool has a quiet, almost cinematic quality — like something out of an old Hollywood movie set, calm and refined. Breakfast each morning is thoughtfully arranged, with something for every preference, and the entire experience feels relaxed rather than rushed. Most of all, the staff are cheerful, warm, and genuinely gracious. You can sense that they take pride in being part of COMO. The high standards remain consistently the same, as I’ve shared in previous reviews. The incredible hospitality continues to be one of COMO’s strongest and most heartfelt qualities, and it is felt throughout the entire property. From the spa facilities and attentive pool attendants, to the spotless rooms, to the soothing interior design of the lobby—where the concierge, bellmen, and the amazing, kind staff behind the counters are always so gracious—the atmosphere seems to draw you in, whether you are arriving after traveling from somewhere else or simply returning from an outing in Bangkok. A special mention also goes to the wonderful breakfast crew, who make each morning feel warm and welcoming, along with a truly “made in heaven” breakfast spread that is beautifully presented and deeply enjoyed.
