We followed the after hour procedure to check-in, this applies when you arrived after 9pm. We got the room with balcony with view to something similar to a repair workshop. The pics are not accurate to reality but it is a good hotel if you want to stay for short time. We didn´t tried breakfast. They offer free luggage storage.

The showers near the lobby were very useful during our stay- we arrived at 8am and kids were able to swim and shower before check in. I also used the washer and dryer during the stay. The sink in the laundry room was a big plus.

I was impressed at the great value for a well kept clean., Pleasant place to stay. And convenient to downtown within walking distance, Staff seemed to be a well Organized team That work together well. I am into building maintenance and property management. I would give them a high rating at what I saw with their property management. Breakfast was a good value as well and conveniant. Pool was a nice bonus. Nice to have a washer and dryer room. Overall, great experience,, friendly staff as well.

We stayed at Coral Tree Inn twice, first time a first floor room (no lift so be prepared to carry bags), second time a ground floor room (much easier). Rooms were basic but certainly adequate. Beds were comfortable. Hot buffet breakfast was included and was excellent. Good range of foods and plenty of it. Staff were excellent and always very helpful.

Clean and easy walking distance to bars and restaurants Not many off street parking places so if they are full you will need to park on the street. Excellent value for money compared to some of the accommodation in Cairns

We arrived at 6.30, reception didn’t open until 7.00, we had to wait outside for 1/2 hour. Check in wasn't until 3 pm. We had breakfast, which wasn’t great. 20 dollars PP. we stayed by the pool for a bit, the sun beds were so uncomfortable. Pool was nice and much needed as by 9.00 it was so hot. There was seating in the shade. We left our luggage and went for a coffee, we got notification that our room was ready a bit earlier. No concierge to help with the luggage, the lady on reception carried them up the stairs for us. Our room was clean, beds were comfortable. We had a balcony that had a grill around it and it overlooked someone’s bin yard which stank and a garage/workshop area. Needless to say we didn’t/couldn’t use it. No complimentary water and we had to pay 3.50 a small bottle . Very basic hotel, no bar, no cafe. Only breakfast was catered for. We found some nice restaurants just along the road, the Japanese, just a short walk away on opposite side of the road and the Greek ‘Fettas’ a bit further 10 min walk

5 Parkplätze auf dem Hotelgelände aber zahlreiche auf der Straße. Klimaanlage im gebuchten Zimmer nahezu wirkungslos. Gute Regeln für die Zeit vor und nach der Buchung. Man darf ins Schwimmbad, bekommt ein Handtuch und kann auch duschen.

Reception, breakfast and room staff amazing very helpful and friendly. Good location, very good value for money rooms showing little mould because of humidity. Shame tv doesn’t have internet to cast to but not on holiday to watch tv. Definitely recommended great value. Lovely breakfast.

Reception was friendly. Towels and blankets obviously quite used and have stains. And I am 100% sure I forgot my charger in the room when checking out, but the staff insisted that they didn’t find it. So either they do a very bad job at cleaning up the room, or the cleaning staff kept it.

I was first given a ground floor pool side room. The smell of chlorine and bleach was so overwhelming I had to move. It was also filthy - the bathroom floor needed a very good clean. The second room I was given a little better - but with a full enclosed balcony with two plastic chairs. There were people knocking on doors, doors banging and closing and people holding various conversations late into the night. I paid $180 for this hotel. It was marginally better than a youth hostel.

You get what you pay for- this is a budget hotel. The staff was outstanding and it has a good location being 15 minutes walking distance away from the Esplanade. However the actual room needs attention. The room has not been updated and it constantly smelled of bleach. The bed was uncomfortable. My advice would be to spend the money and upgrade to a better motel if you can afford it.

Super location for town and sea front. Staff super helpful. Breakfast good choice. We were there 5 nights, some of that time was a bit noisy from doors closing early in the. morning or late at night, or people chatting in corridors on the stairs/wake up alarms going off. I use ear plugs so not a huge issue. (Hotel provide these in the rooms too) Definitely needed the aircon to cope with the humidity.

There is no proper soundproofing and it was very loud for whole night. No one is also enforcing quite hours. Walking distance to Cairns centre.

Overall the the 3 night stay was good , however some guests seem to have trouble reading and following hotel notices around noise and disturbance times . Also first time ever that I have had a room with no bed side lights , only the main light switch by the door.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff could not have been more helpful - we were allowed to check in early as the room was ready, and after check out we were able to leave our bags in a secure room until we were ready to leave Cairns. The room was very clean and fresh, the wifi worked well, and overall it was an excellent hotel for our one night in Cairns. It was also really near to everything - the esplanade, Cairns Central shopping centre, and bus and train stations. The hotel also supplied free tea and coffee in reception, which we found a great benefit in the morning.

Would avoid until construction work complete. Drilling on bathroom walls at 8am, huge amount of noise and vibration. We vacated room asap. We raised this with staff who just said they were having bathrooms renovated, no apology or much interest in disturbance really

Stay was great, if the check in desk had been open between the advertised hours then it would have been perfect. However being greeted by a sign ‘shut for 30 minutes’ when the desk closed in two and a half hours later was disappointing.

Coral Tree Inn was a great choice for me, as I needed it for a home base from which to do some daytime excursions that left from Cairns CBD. It was centrally located to the marina, the railway, and the esplanade. I would definitely stay again.

The property is a little run down, but the service was great and the location was ideal. I was able to walk to anywhere I wanted to go, including the Cairns Shopping Center, the Esplanade or the Cairns Aquarium. Would stay here again

This is a budget hotel. The place is clean, the water plumbing is excellent with good flow and facility is clean. From a price point, the offering is decent. A few things to keep in mind is the hotel is several blocks away from the water front, about 10 min walk which in a hot sun can be an issue for some, there is no formal restaurant on premise aside from just for continental breakfast, and the venue is NOT disabled people friendly as there is no elevator or ramp. Hotel room does have a cute little balcony which we found refreshing to have a morning coffee or evening drink once the sun is down. Overall, a budget friendly, nice and clean hotel.
