Costabella Tropical Beach Hotel

Very nice staff with a clean property and lots of activities run by the hotel itself.

My second time staying at the resort. The staff is wonderful, the rooms are great and my team really enjoyed the 3 dining options along with the pool and beach. The spa is under Reno and they are offering in room services but what they don’t tell you is that your massage will be on your bed ( no travel bed) and cost the same. Just a heads up if you want the spa but otherwise this is a lovely option if you don’t want to go super luxury.

Beautiful property, awesome restaurants on site, really nice private beach, great swimming pools for adults and kids. Only negative was long walk to convenience stores unless you wanted to call a Grab. No tricycles allowed anywhere near the property. We’ll definitely return and recommend to our friends.

Friendly service, good dining options, and a private beach. There were also many activities offered such as: stand-up paddle boarding, paragliding, boar tours, and more.

4泊5日で利用しましたが、サービスが非常に良くスパも満足でした。 リゾートエリアなので、観光地へはタクシーかツアーを利用しないと移動が不便ですが、ベルマンに声をかければ5分程度でタクシーが来てくれました。 プールも常に綺麗な状態で、ビーチも毎日手入れおしており綺麗でした。 空港からホテルまでPHP650、ホテルからマゼランクロスまでPHP1500程度かかりました。 (タクシーによって値段はかなり変わりました)

Two restaurants had good food, reasonably priced. My room was located steps from the pools, which were fine and a short walk to the beach. Beach was okay in morning and afternoon, not when there was low tide. Staff were very responsive and polite. Water activities are available like kayaking. They also have a ping pong table; bikes.

部屋から2メートルの距離の隣接した建物の解体工事をしています。そのため８時から１７時まではコンクリートをドリルで砕くすさまじい音が振動とともに響いています。この時間帯は部屋の中で過ごすことはできませんでした。その工事はこの先長くかかると思います。 Demolition work is being carried out on the adjacent building, which is 2 meters from the room. Therefore, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., the tremendous sound of concrete being crushed by a drill echoes along with the vibrations. I was not allowed to spend time in my room during this time. I think this work will continue for a long time.

Bodde en natt mellom flights. Stille og rolig hotell med store, rene rom. Bassengområdet er også fint og maten veldig god.

施設は古いが、良く清掃されており、スタッフの笑顔もとても印象に残った

Staff were amazing and very helpful, food is good . Butt unfortunately the room is in very bad condition due to the humidity in the rooms that pillows all of it have molds luckily , bathroom tub are unsafely high which you need a foot stool to get up which they don’t have for our senior family member are unable to use it , it’s fall hazard. Bathroom door was stuck few times with my senior family member inside which freak me out . Disappointing 2 night stay . We will not come back .

Poolside room is ‘pool block’ room on 3rd floor. Room for 4 had beds for 3. Not even a pool view. But overall the hotel is nice and a great food menu.

Room needs more lighting, wanted to open the curtains but my view from the window was the storage. Bathroom was spacious.

Very old and worn down rooms - needs renovation. Beach front is not very nice for a beach hotel. Prices for food and drinks are very expensive for Philippines - without the quality.

部屋に入ってカビ臭がかなりありました。 プールサイドの部屋でしたが、部屋のすぐ前に建物があってロケーションは良くなかったです。部屋に虫がいて蚊取り対策がなかったです。 スタッフは良い対応でした。リゾートからコンビニへのアクセスが難しいです。

プレミアムデラックスプールサイドを毎年、何回も利用させていただいてます。テレビは、どの部屋も難あり。リモコンが作動しないのでテレビ本体の電源ボタンでオンオフしてます。シャワーもシャワーホースの至る所から水もれしてます。今、レストランの改修をしてますが部屋も、まともな設備にして欲しいです。

The room was accommodating. Super large bed. Two queen beds attached with a double foam top to cover the seem. Had to switch the refrigerator out for a different one. Still didn't get our beverages cold. Elevator had no fans or airflow. Sometimes the Elevator doors will close on you while you walking in with your family. Make sure your kids get on first or they could get hit. No drinking water in our room. We had to purchase our own. The breakfast buffet was ok. Food was decent, not 5 star. Outdoor dinning only with the flies. Pools were nice, the beach was nice. We did the wave-runner for 30 the attendants for helpful and friendly. Front staff were friendly and got us cabs or tricycles when we needed to out.

It is beach front, but the barrier was destroyed with the hurricane a couple years ago. It looks unsafe. Also the water has grassy areas in it. While the property is well maintained, the surrounding area is in extreme poverty. I had a lovely view, but my travel mate looked at a cement wall. There should be notification about this or at least a discount.

プレミアプールサイドに宿泊しましたが、大人２人、12歳、7歳の4人でも広々過ごすことができました！部屋は新しく清潔で、何よりベッドの寝心地が良かったです。 お盆期間に行きましたが、プールも海も空いていて快適に過ごしました。 メインレストランが改装中で使えなかったのが残念でした。 ルームサービスやレストランなどの価格は全体的にリゾート価格で、日本並です。 ですが総じて海外リゾートに来た！感を味わえ、宿泊費自体が手頃で良かったです。またセブに行くときがあれば利用したいです。

This hotel is great value for the price. You can of course spend a lot more for a hotel room in Mactan. However the staff at Costabella are super friendly and cater for your every need. You won't find better staff in alternative more expensive hotels. We would particularly like to mention Kenneth, Joshua & Rhoden at Marina who gave us exceptional service. Other positives. Private beach so no hawkers trying to sell you stuff. Calm waters to swim in at high tide. 2 large swimming pools to use at low tide! Reception moved us when we were unhappy with original room. Thanks! Nurse at clinic very helpful with our health concerns. All in all, a beautiful, quiet, family owned resort. We returned home relaxed and happy!

The children’s free play area really came in handy at check out. Watch out for the taxi fee to leave the property. Automatically starts at 100 pesos + 50 peso fee. Paying for the free breakfast is a great deal.

Staff are all extremely friendly and proficient in their work. Enting was extremely helpful and very good at his job.

The environment is nice but the PR Manager was the worst I have ever experienced throughout my extensive travel experiences in various countries. The booking staff need to level up the knowledge in water sports. If the facility is offered by the hotel, blaming on the tide for kayak is irrelevant because of misinformation. People plan ahead not find ad hoc taxi drivers for alternatives. But going outside is the same for water sports due to location and this resort is awesome for family but not solo travellers. Its a pity if they have the resource but not experienced staffs.

STAY ELSEWHERE, because of the following two reasons: Reason #1 : the check in is very chaotic, guests are very confused and there’s zero direction from staff. In our case the front desk staff claimed our reservation didn’t include breakfast, but we had already paid for it. He became confrontational and suggested I call hotels.com Reason #2: they add freshly cleaned jars to the breakfast buffet, unfortunately these are not dry, which means there’s unfiltered left over water in them which led for us to get sick. In addition some cocktails are made with unfiltered ice

This is our 2nd stay at Costabella and we love this small quiet oasis… from the beautiful beach, grounds, spa and spacious room. My Father had a medical emergency and the staff were attentive, and accommodating as our reservations kept changing… thank you for another great visit.

I have stayed here in January and it was a nice place with Great Staff, there is construction on a new restaurant however minimal issues with it. Overall we were very happy with our last stay as well.

The staff at costabella is probably the best most caring and polite group of resort workers I have ever met in all my travels. The resort is top notch also. Clean and alot of free cabanas pn the beach near palm trees and the ocean. You cant go wrong by staying there

大手のホテルと違いこじんまりとしたホテルですが部屋も綺麗でシャワーの水圧もよく熱湯も普通に出るのでストレスなく過ごせました。 ビーチも綺麗でパラセーリングやジェットスキーなども他のところと値段も差がなく出来たので移動する手間も無く楽しく過ごせました。 難点はホテルの周りに何もないので常にタクシーを呼ぶ必要がある点ですかね。

Staff are nice and the location is good. We use GLAB taxi to savemore and maribako grill within 90-100 peso one way. The resort is isolated from main street but there is a certain distance from traffic noise. So, location issue a few visitors left their comments is not a big issue by using GLAB app. Beach access is nice, rescue people watch guests carefully, although the private beach is not deep enough, their service is enough nice. I would like to say one thing. Please decrease price of beer. It is as twice price as major restaurants in city. Please promote various SanMiguel beers. Variation is not enough. I think the price need to be studied. This is not a fault of this hotel. We booked a room with breakfast, we double checked this with my partner before booking confirmation on expedia. But the hotel said our booking doesn’t include breakfast. we were asked to buy breakfast. So, please do not believe screen of expedia, please check your voucher after the booking. If breakfast is not indicated in your voucher, please cancel this and booking this again for making sure. I have never seen this kind of thing. Even if voucher does not indicate breakfast, breakfast request is delivered to hotels from my past experience. This is not the fault of the resort, we understand. we will try to ask this to expedia but we think they will ignore to refund the money for the unexpected expense of breakfast.

This hotel felt like a prison with no indication of actually being in the Philippines! The driveway is so long it’s impossible to eat or drink anywhere but at the hotel and they don’t even have water fountains like most other hotels in the Philippines so access to drinking water is by over priced bottles bought from the hotel. The beers cost 4-5 times what they cost anywhere else.

こじんまりしているがプライベートビーチもあり、ホテル内でゆっくりするには快適。室内はまぁ許容範囲内です。完全に奥まった場所にあるので、買い物などのcityの方までの移動はすべてタクシーで移動しました。ホテルを出た近隣もフィリピンらしいお店が多数ありましたが、初めてのフィリピンで出歩くにはやや懸念があったので、マクタン島で街歩きはしませんでした。ホテルスタッフはみんなフレンドリーでとても快適でした。

The resort is in a poor part of Cebu. Therefore, convenience and food options are scarce unless you want to risk quality of food and drink. Transportation is also limited only taxis available to you. The main part of Cebu is 30 to 45 minutes away from the resort, which we knew was not a problem for us. Staff was not very attentive during dining as they often did not pick up on normal use such as as greeting you and providing you menu and checking in on you periodically as you might expect. Might be a cultural difference. The resort offers assistance in booking excursions by way of local businesses and day drivers via taxi. Very affordable and convenient options. Breakfast buffet is amazing. All meals were delicious and drinks were well done.

The resort is a beautiful and cozy sanctuary. The people around me were very friendly and attentive. 5 stars. I recommend this place if you want a more private, family oriented experience. The resort entrance is a good .5-1 mile from the public street, booking a transportation with them is a better option for transportation if you’re not planning to drive. Also, No food deliveries were allowed. If you brought food from outside, you consume it inside your room.

The only thing I don’t like here is the expensive breakfast! The selection is not high quality compare to other places I’ve been to for the price of the buffet.

Place is run downed. Had to call maintenance for hot water. Food was overpriced and terrible. Ordered kare kare, 1600 pesos no meet. Resort does not allow grab or any foos delivery food delivery.

An sich eine schöne Anlage, aber sehr abgelegen. Preise für Essen und Getränke entsprechend völlig überteuert, europäische Preise. Das Abendessen war allerdings gut, das Frühstück für den horrenden Preis von umgerechnet über 15€ pro Person überhaupt nicht, z.B. steinharter French Toast. Das Bett war mit Abstand das unbequemste unserer ganzen Philippinenreise, wir sind ständig aufgewacht. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit einem Einzelbett und einem Doppelbett, aber das Doppelbett schien kaum 1,40 m breit zu sein und hatte eine Kuhle in der Mitte, so dass wir ständig in die Mitte rollten. Im Meer vor dem Hotel kann man nicht baden, da es einem selbst wenn man 30 m reinläuft kaum zum Oberschenkel geht.

The people seem unhappy. . Only a few forced smiles. Not like my other stays in Philippines. Service in restaurants dismal. Never the same server they change out. The food was poor. Banana milkshakes perfect

Gorgeous scenery in the exterior and interior. attentive staff with delicious and extensive breakfast buffet! Would definitely stay here again.

Was able to get into our room a few hours earlier, had a beach/pool (Premier Deluxe Poolside) on the 7th floor. Great view from the balcony. Room was comfortable and spacious. Staff was very attentive. The breakfast buffet was great at La Marina. Rest of the menu was okay 4/5. Brissa was better. Overall, pretty happy with our stay.

음식이 전반적으로 너무 맛없고... 양이 적고 로컬식당에 비해 비쌉니다. 맛이라도 좀 있고 비싼거면 이해를 하겠는데요..^^; 그랩 배달이 안되
