It may be in the small print but they charge £15.00 a day for parking which can equal the full cost of an extra night if you stay for a week like I did. Ultimately the staff were pleasant enough but the hotel is tired and it's obvious to anyone that travels that this hotel is very old with minimal money spent on it. Just enough so you don't comment that it's falling apart. Lidt No.1 broke down on day 3 and TBF by day 4 they had fixed it but it feels like they constantly plastering a gaping wound. The actual staff were all fine and very used to explaining to people about the parking charge as every time I walked past reception someone was complaining about this unexpected charge. All in all ok. If you are catching a flight I guess it's perfect as it is one minute walk from the terminal.

Typical airport hotel. Excellent proximity to the airport. Shortage of staff. Long queues at the bar. Long wait for drinks with dinner. Food good. Felt cold in public areas. Decor very shabby in public areas. Staff who were on were polite and friendly in difficult working conditions.

Booked Holiday Inn Glasgow Airport based on price and convenience of getting to the airport for an early flight. Staff were friendly. There’s a bar but only specific drinks from their bar menu are available. Our room had a comfy bed but oddly no TP or TP dispenser - when front desk didn’t answer we foraged for TP ourselves in a nearby store room. When driving out ask for a gate code or you’ll be charged a £6 airport fee to exit. Staff should ask guests if they need a gate code, we only knew because a friend told us. Ubers may not pick up/drop off anywhere on airport property due to the £6 fee. We walked off airport property a couple blocks to a gas station to use Uber.

My wife dropped me off and asked where to go to get out of the car park without knowing there would be a £6.00 charge. She should, I found out in the morning, have been given a QR code to present at the barrier.

Overall I was a bit disappointed here. Ok it is a hotel that provides typically 1 nights accommodation for airport travellers but it’s a bit dated and needs some TLC. The bed was uncomfortable. The bathroom was grubby in places. Standing in a queue 6 deep at the bar to order drinks in the evening needs to be looked at. On a positive note the staff we met were welcoming and very nice. The food in the restaurant was nice too. I guess it does what it says on the tin.

Would have been more stars if there had been a proper bar for drinks. No atmosphere to have drinks sitting around with no proper bar. We walked across to the Holiday Inn express ( less than 10 min walk) for a drink in a proper bar. It was a shame really as everything else was great.

The reception, bar, restaurant area is lovely. My room was awful. It was dirty - the bed frame was stained all over, the walls were filthy, the carpet was full of dust bunnies, one of my pillowcases didn't seem all that clean, the bathroom floor wasn't clean, the shower curtain was disgusting, the area round the toilet was broken, the door frame inside the bathroom was falling apart, some floor tiles were cracked. Although I was in a non-smoking room, I was getting smoke through the walls/floor/ventilation system from another area - was really strong in the bathroom and was waking me in the night. I couldn't wait to get out at 5am for my flight. The only thing going for this place is it's proximity to the airport for such early flights. I've stayed here before and don't remember it being this grim - time for some serious investment. If I have another flight not quite so early I'll not be staying here again. Not worth the grottiness!

The room was noisy because of the difficult to work heating controls. The bed was very uncomfortable, lumpy and noisy and the pillows were lumpy and not in good condition. The bathroom was filthy, with dirty mouldy tile grout and slime at the bottom of the shower curtain. We had the most horrible night's stay gere

Our hotel room was very dirty. There were small flies and moths all over the room. Some of the towels were dirty and the toilet wasn't clean either. I am not someone who is quick to complain about something, but I was very disgusted in this room.

Front staff rude, unfriendly....review your staff's greeting of clients. Reception desk? There isn't even a proper front desk! Tell your reception staff not to wear their coats behind the make-shift reception "desk"-it is a bad, unwelcoming look. Room was cold, the temp controls didn't work. Bathrooms are dirty and worn...you would not want to use the bath or even shower. Some of the fittings like the towel rack was held together with TAPE. It is walking distance to the airport....still not an excuse to stay here. Holiday Inn? '

Although the main areas and restaurant were all clean and modern, my room was unfortunately scruffy and dirty. There was mold in the bathroom over most of the ceiling and in the tiles and the towel rail had a failed PAT test certificate sticker from September. There were stains on the carpet and the room had an unpleasant smell. The overall feel of the room was "grim" and it was also noisy. I have paid less for a room and stayed in much nicer

Overall a great hotel and direct access to terminal 2. Very convenient. All staff were incredibly lovely and helpful. My only issue is that I upgraded to a king room and when I went to bed, I realized it was just two twins pushed together as I slowly sunk into the middle crack. While that aspect was disappointing, the positives outweigh it.

Particularly for flights from/into Glasgow, location is ideal. Good thermostatic control in room. However only one bedside table/shelf for a king size room was inconvenient. Also a pain no plug socket by bed (on desk opposite bed). Not perfect therefore but would stay sgain

Room was freezing ( 17 degrees on entry with fan on high) Thankfully someone from reception came and sorted out the thermostat ( which I had tried to do … but failed) No fridge in room . Position where it should have been was empty . Hence we had no where to store our sandwiches for morning ( as no time for breakfast )

On arriving at room found heating was not working. -2C was outside temperature. Nicole (an excellent member of staff) came and adjusted heating control. She returned 10mins later and decided it was not working correctly. She moved us to another room with complimentary biscuits, hot chocolate and drink vouchers. Excellent service. Nicole is a star member of staff.

On our stay we had noisy people next door I went downstairs and complained. The man on reception came upstairs and spoke to them and immediately and it went quiet I was very impressed and happy with how he delt with issue he also offered to move us . Excellent service.

I needed wheelchair assistance and the night team worked really hard to help me with my bags and arranging for my wheelchair to pick me up from the lobby. When I really needed their help, they were there for me out of the goodness of their hearts. We can learn a lot from them.Thank you, night team!

The room was good, comfortable, warm, staff were friemdly & helpful. The food at the restauramt was good but I was very surprised when the bill arrived and we had a service charge automatically added. I do not agree with a charge being added on above the cost of the food & drinks without my knowledge. Service charge is at the customers dicrestion not the hotel and should not be automatically added for the staff to carry out their job. Feedback would be appreciated.

Property is in a great location for the airport - literally across the road from the terminal. Beds are very comfy and usually the rooms are fairly quiet. The restaurant, food and service are another matter. Overpriced, under staffed and the service is terrible. Eat before you get there.

Convenient location, quick check in and check out. Breakfast is with good choice but the tea/coffee station totally off putting (plus long line to get the coffee because only one machine worked and it needed emptying which meant finding staff member who could help. At some point 7 people stood in line 🙄

We stayed 1 night before a flight and felt the hotel was very tired. Carpets at lift area ripped and had tape over tears. We had a meal and were disappointed in portion size for money paid. Bar had no orange juice.

Good hotel close to the terminal building. Comfortable rooms only downside was not being able to pay in cash when purchasing drinks at the bar. Fire alarm went off during our stay and hotel was evacuated awaiting emergency services arriving.
