The room was ok, with nothing standing ok to make it more than just ok. Staff was courteous. We chose this hotel because it advertised dining and a cocktail bar. Both were closed. If we would have known this, we would have chose a different hotel. Disappointed.

While conveniently situated the hotel is looking tired in places. The small bar restaurant closed earlier than advertised although we were able to get a meal and the quality was pretty good. The breakfast was mediocre. There is no room service. The tv in the room was a pretty old 32" with wires hanging down. There is adequate storage but the lighting is poor. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. In a nutshell the hotel served our purposes but I would look to book elsewhere if visiting the area in future.

Children really enjoyed swimming pool and Gym. Parking was safe and easy and the fee was cheaper than street parking. Staff were always friendly.

Reception staff were great. Really large pool area. Great view from the room. Breakfast was the cheapest we had on our Australia holiday, and it was ok for the price. The whole building only has 2 lifts so there is alot of waiting/queueing for lifts, access to the stairwell would be good for people who don't mind using the stairs

Great property located not far from Cavil Ave and the beach. Pool area was great and our room was fine. Place is a bit older but it was clean and we would definitely stay here again.

Great customer service, pool and great location. The rooms are a bit run down. Carpets on the corridor have lots of moisture and inside the room too. Buffet breakfast is average with minimal options compared to Voco and other places we stayed at.

Not as advertised. Outdated facilities, dirty carpet floors and elevators paint missing on the walls. Outdated bathrooms. Paid extra for ocean view could barely see it. Two single beds shoved together which kept moving was the “double bed”. Power points in the room not working properly. Noisy. $20 a night additional for car parking plus another $200 deposit taken on top of the $500 for the two nights. Disappointing. Only upside was the convenience- close to everything and nice staff.

The property is aging and needs some tending too. There was spills on the walls and roof that needed the cleaning, the carpets were stained and roofing was cracking along with the furnishings being chipped and scratched beyond repair. The bathroom smelt which I assume was old, dirty drains. The location is great and the beds were comfy.

The view of our apartment would be the only positive. Can hear at night time people next door laugh, sneeze, their tv, and that’s over the sound of the waves of the ocean. The hotel has zero soundproofing in the rooms. The toilet is a stupid layout, the builder who did it should try use a toilet. You need to bend your neck to grab toilet paper, there is a door stop right next to the toilet, so if you not careful you really can hurt your foot. Should hang the door the other around be much better bathroom layout. Curtains were ripped. One can be ok with dated, make it cozy, clean and tidy. My wine glass on night before last exploded when I tried to rince it. Pool was very cold, considering it was hot day barely anyone used it and crammed into the spa, which too is outdated with chips and unregulated temperature. Breakfast was not great, pancakes unbeatable with a taste of dishwashing powder. Coffee inconsistent, because staff were scarce and didn’t top things up. Tables not clean. For the money you pay, it’s not worth it at all, especially when traveling with a small child.

Location is strong, 1 block from beach, nice pool, but do not expect rooms and hallways to be up to modern standards. The finishes are quite outdated, lighting is poorly considered, giving anything outside the lobby and pool area a slightly grimy feel. That said, it was not dirty or unsafe in any way and if a low rate on the Gold Coast is what you’re after, go for it.

Parking was easy and it’s close to everything. Lots of food variety, only thing I could pick was the beds were terrible, I woke up sore every morning. Room was fairly clean, staff were lovely. We didn’t eat any meals there.

Nice place to stay to a degree, gyms alright, pool is really nice, it’s a shame that the room wasn’t too nice, the tv was a notebook size, balcony was tiny, I honestly won’t be coming back.

Your reception staff needs good guest service lectures. I did not expect this level of guest service from Accor. During our stay we came across few unhelpful reception staff with a surprising attitude. Did not provide good guest service to anyone as I noticed them during our stay whenever we pass by reception. The reception team is unhelpful and seems indifferent to assisting guests. Only one Asian receptionist was attentive and provided excellent service; the rest appeared casual and disinterested in supporting guests.

Whilst the room was fine and we enjoyed the pool. Our issues occurred post checkout. Due to a system change the hotel did not release our bond as planned. Upon following this up after several days I was told it was an issue with the bank. I asked the staff member to check and she said it was not necessary as the process was automatic. She made me feel quite silly. Upon calling the bank they said the transaction was not with them and to contact the hotel. Further contact with the hotel revealed the bond had NOT been released. A change of system meant we would not receive our bond until the end of the month, weeks later. Whilst the gentleman was apologetic he could offer no solution. As a young family on a budget we did not anticipate spending the extra money this month. It has made life harder.

The property was fine but the room was not as booked. I specifically requested two King singles as this is what was advertised and then sold a Queen bed without any notification. Did the staff care - not they didn't, they just shrugged their shoulders and said they couldn't do anything. Only until i started to lose my mind did they say oh ok we'll get someone to unzip the bed. So now we are in a tiny room with two small single beds literally touching each other. No compensation, no nothing but sorry we are fully booked. Why take my god damn booking if you can't supply the room. So over this excuse when booking accommodation. Always sets the mood to the holiday being ruined from the get go. Thank you Robert the caretaker who then had to unzip our beds and deal with the disgruntled guests because the staff at the front desk did sweet FA and couldn't give a rats. If i wanted to share my bed with my friend i would've booked a King size bed but being expected to just share a bed is beyond a joke. Also, if you are going to put a bar fridge in a cupboard make sure it fits. The cupboard door stayed open 10cm because the fridge didn't fit. Fail!

Really disappointed for some serviced and breakfast. We were booked for 2 night stay So Checked in start at 2 pm but the room not ready on time that we have to wait for 30 min till get in the room. The room was wonderful view and full of equipment but no proper blanket. The Blanket that provided was really thin and itchy not help at all for a cool night even heater on. I was go down and request for a proper soft blanket but they said not have any in this hotel. No housekeeping clean my room even I took out the dropped sign. Breakfast was really suck !! Bacon really dry Fried egg was sit there for long and really dry white eggs. No salad dressing provided. Scrambled eggs is to mashy and full of cream. The great thing for this hotel is location and view of the high floor. not worth much for the price but better than some others 4 star hotel.

We had a great stay at Mantra Legends. It is within easy walking distance of Cavill Ave Mall. Easy parking at a cost of $22 per night (but you do have to pay for parking on the street when you arrive, just until you checkin or get access to the hotel parking). There is heaps of parking in the hotel carpark (we went during school holidays and spaces were still available). The Breakfast was a highlight, especially the Mushrooms and Homemade Baked Beans!!! :)

Thanks to the attentive staff, the check-in process was seamless, and my room was clean and tidy. The small balcony offered a narrow beach view, perfect for enjoying my morning coffee. As with all hotels near the beach, I could hear the evening music and the crowds in my room. Additionally, I noticed that hotel guests can be quite noisy around the pool and in the hallways.The Airtrain streetcar, which connects to Brisbane Airport, is merely two blocks from the hotel. Indeed, the Gold Coast is named for the beach's golden sand!

Staff were great. We booked the room for a family of 4. It had 2 x double beds in it, which was very tight. Plus only two bath towels and two pool towels. Breakfast was good, far from great. We got the 20% discount SMS which eased the pain a little. We definitely go back for round 2 the next day. Pool and cocktails were awesome though.
