Perfectly located hotel. Right next to MOKO Mall and East Mong Kok Station that takes you anywhere in no time. Clean, comfortable rooms and nice staff. The Health Club is very nice.

Excellent location, with the hotel being connected to both a metro station and a large shopping centre (plenty of shops and food options). It is also a short undercover walk to Nathan Road. The Expedia listing is a bit misleading because it says there are laundry facilities, which implies there is access to washing machines. This is not true; they only have a laundry service. We ended up using a local laundry (Sunshine Laundry - Sai Yee Street), which was excellent. The pool was closed for a lot of our stay. There was no reason given, but it was possibly due to thunderstorms. When we did get to use the pool, it seemed the chlorine levels were wrong because we ended up with burning eyes!

Room spotless & lovely staff. The breakfast was not good, lack of choice and quality of food terrible. The closure of pool throughout the day was inconvenient and very annoying but lovely pool area and gym when open!

Excellent location, so close to the MTR and a big mall. Room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The facilities such as gym and pool were really good. Staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient. We will definitely be staying at the Royal Plaza the next time we come back to Hong Kong.

Overall impression is good. Staff were polite. Location is excellent, convenient for shopping and closed to MTR. However there was some smell in the bathroom. Don't know if the smell came out from the drainage or not. It would be nice if better ventilation or stronger air conditioning in the bathroom. We have a family of 4, but only 2 glasses provided in the bathroom.

The hotel was huge with many rooms. It is very dated and need many fixing. The desk was all chips and drawer cannot close correctly, fridge cannot set to cold, grout in washroom with many cracks, hair dryer in drawer with lots of hairs, and toilet with a lot of stains.

Stayed there for 7 nights and was given a room on 17/F which is the highest floor for standard rooms except the club and executive floors above. Room was clean and housekeeping did a great job every day. The aircon in the room was quiet and the bed was relatively comfortable. However, the air in the room was very dry and the washroom did not include body lotion / cream as part of the amenities provided. I was a little bit disappointed as well that there wasn’t a small Nespresso machine or other simple capsule coffee machine available in the room — that’s a standard for most hotels these days. Overall, the hotel’s location is unbeatable, service was good, room was big and clean, and I would stay in Royal Plaza again if the opportunity arises.

お部屋は毎日とても綺麗に掃除してくれて、タオルもスリッパも交換してくれるし、気持ち良く過ごすました。ただ、シャワーの水圧が弱いのと、エレベーターホールから部屋までとても歩く、更に最上階だとひとつ下の階までしかエレベーターが無い為に階段を上り下りする必要があるのが不便でした。街歩きで疲れて帰ってきてから、あの長い廊下を重い足を引きずりながら歩くのが、本当に大変で。最寄駅の旺角東駅まではホテルから直結のモールを抜けて5分程ですが、この駅は主だった繁華街がある駅や観光地がある駅に行くには不便。乗り換えが必要です。乗り換え不要で主要駅まで行ける旺角駅は、ホテルから徒歩で15分以上、20分近くかかります。体力に自信がある人なら問題ないと思いますが、蒸し暑い香港でホテルから駅まで遠いとなると、目的地に着く頃には既に疲れてしまっている状態で、思う存分楽しむことが出来ませんでした。スタッフは、フレンドリーで接客には問題ありませんが、地元の美味しいお店や目的地までの道順を尋ねても知らないことが多く、知識不足が否めません。香港にしては充分な広さ且つ清潔な部屋、寝心地の良いベッドであることは確かなので、たくさん歩くことが苦ではなく、或いは移動はタクシーのみ、ホテルはただ寝るためだけという方にはおすすめです。私ももっと若い頃だったらリピートしていたと思います。

I really enjoyed my stay at the Royal plaza hotel. It isn’t as modern or new as some other hotels but the room was spacious (compared to other hk hotels) location was excellent - close to bus and mtr, walkable to the Mong kok areas which is busy night and day. Close to Nathan road, TAT and the Kowloon Wall City. Room was clean, linen and towels were of great standards.

Hotel set in a great location. Mall next door but not a high street mall, has all the essentials and some great food options. Attached to that is the train station and bus terminus. Rooms were cleaned daily to a high standard. Pillows are not great but the bed is comfy. Staff are attentive.

Second time staying there. Really like this hotel. The location is very convenient with the subway on the doorstep. The family rooms are really comfy with large beds. Only one complaint this time around: it was a connecting room, which meant the soundproofing with the adjoining room wasn't as good as last time.

Truly enjoyed our five day stay at the Royal Plaza. Rare service gems in hospitality made our moments memorable. Greetings at curbside matched the super friendly bag attendants. Check-in by Catherine was gracious and impeccable. Manager Terry went above and beyond to bring us an unforgettable moment to start our stay. He listened to my concern and moved our room without hesitation. We were impressed by his highly coordinated team working to relocate us for our stay. Facilities engineering should be applauded for their responsiveness and cleanliness. Minor toilet issue was resolved within 15 minutes upon contact. Contactless key cover for room door was found on the floor and repaired immediately. Super convenient hotel located above MTR station and MOKO mall. Gym, sauna (dry and steam), swimming pool, and hot tub makes the Royal Plaza a highly recommended stay in the future for family and friends. No laundry on premise, but Sunshine Laundry Service is affordable and nearby.

Stayed for 5 nights. Frontdesk service poor, she spend an hour checking us in. We had booked 2 rooms, and she did not know what she was doing. We had asked for rooms next to each other, and where told, that they could do that, but when we got our rooms, the where not next to each other. We where there during the typhoon on july 20 th of this year. There was no comunication to us, of what to do, or where we might go to get water or something to eat. Everything else was closed due to safety reasons, we get that, but as hotel with a lot of guests, you might let them know you are there to help, or/and answer their questions. There was no service provided of any kind during the typhoon. We where left to ourselves.

ホテルは客室の多い年季の入ったところでしたが、駅と新しいショッピングモールに直結しているので不便はありませんでした。遅い時間にホテルに戻るとモールを通り抜けられない所があり、あちこち遠回りして戻りました。帰国が夕方のフライトだったのでチェックアウト後に荷物を預けて半日の観光ができました。スタッフは問題なく英語で対応してくれます。

Overall is a good stay! However, location of the hotel is not easily accessible directly from airport through AirPort Express nor airport bus. You have to carry your luggage to walk 10 minutes or longer. The best is to take taxi from airport to hotel.

Great 5 night stay! We enjoyed how close everything was (MTR, Moko Mall) and how easily accessible the MTR was. The hotel itself was very clean, and the staff were friendly. Lots of food options nearby and walking distance to Fa Yuen St and Ladies Market. We LOVED the safe drinking water tap in the bathroom. Saved us lots of money on bottled water! We enjoyed the hotel pool and gym. We will be back the next time.

The breakfast plan is good, but I think it would be better if the menu was varied and not the same every day. The hotel is very conveniently located. The toilet, bathtub, shower, comfortable bed, pillows fit well, and the layout is quite spacious. The hotel is connected to Mon Kok Mall, which is conveniently accessible directly from East Mon Kok Station. Accessible from the surrounding main roads via a footbridge. I would definitely choose this hotel again. Oh, and the staff were very polite, with lovely greetings and smiles.

Really enjoyed our 3 days stay at Royal Plaza hotel. The hotel is accessible from Moko Mall and Mongkok East Station, making it easier to explore the city. We were stuck staying in our hotel room during the worst typhoon of the year. The housekeeping made sure our rooms were cleaned daily and came to empty our garbages twice a day. The hotel also made sure the three restaurants were open and available to guests during the lockdown. The mall is very convenient with lots of shops, restaurants, grocery store and MTR connected to the hotel. Staff was very friendly and would highly recommend

Excellent location, connected to MOKO shopping mall. Room is spacious and clean. There’s a filtered drinking tap so you don’t need to purchase mineral water bottles. Only thing is there isn’t breakfast provided but there are eateries nearby so good chance to try HK food on your own

Location is great, joined to shopping mall and train station, walking distance to markets and food. Nice pool, very refreshing after big days but closes too early so we missed it most nights. Room was big but was unusual design, kids had to walk through our room to use bathroom/toilet & huge area with no where to sit. We were top floor(19) but no direct elevator so stairs up was annoying. Breaky was very very basic...toast, eggs and terrible coffee. I would recommend for the location!

Eu reservei um quarto de valor maior porque estava incluído café da manhã, no entanto, não aconselho ninguém a fazer o mesmo, vergonhoso, o hotel oferece uma salada de frutas cortadas em pedaços gigantescos dentro de um recipiente plástico anti-higiênico, serviço apenas à la carte com pouquíssimas opções, pedi um omelete, estava totalmente sem gosto, pedi torradas e queijo e não tinha. Fica a dica, não reservem esse hotel com o pior breakfast que já vi.

Staffs are nice and very friendly and helpful. Great location right beside major shopping mall and mongkok east train and bus terminals allow transfer to other subway line. There are also many stall on the street nearby offer different Chinese food and snack. Great moko shopping mall pretty much self contained with restaurant supermarket and movie theatre and playground. Definitely a gem for the city.
